These were really comfortable on day one. The next day I noticed a squeaking sound from the right trainer. It feels like something has cracked inside the sole and offers no support. Cannot use these for running as intended and would like a replacement.

I like the look and feel of the shoes and at first I thought the squeaking was just the soles being sticky on tile but it got worse the few times that I have worn them. Realizing it wasn't just grippy soles, I was able to replicate the issue on carpet. My guess is that two of the internal materials were not glued properly and this sound is them sliding on each other inside the shoe. Will be returning for a refund.

Purchased in August. They are very comfortable, but they squeak with every step! I have been hoping that the problem would go away once they were broken in, but it hasn't. Every. Single. Step.

I like the look but they are embarrassingly squeaky. Wish I knew that before buying. Waited over 6 months to begin wearing and was unhappy with the noise. Contacted Nike and they said I must return at my cost and the adjuster would review and possibly send me a voucher. They could not tell me how much to expect on the voucher. Very disappointing. Decided to keep them to use when doing in home chores or yard work. Will look at a different brand for outdoor running sneaker next time.
I love the the way the Quest 5 locks in my heel. There is ZERO heel slip. Other running shoes I can feel my heel slip out slightly, which I find very annoying. This is the number one quality of the Quest 5, and I really appreciate this.The Quest 5 is comfortable and flexible. But it isn't SUPER comfortable like a Nike React Infinity or Nike Pegasus. But those are flagships so not a fair comparison, those are in a differant price category. The Quest 5 is a great and affordable walking/normal everyday shoe, and okay for short runs but I wouldn't want to run more than a couple miles in these. They were dead out of the box. I use them for road running and they provide no spring. The foam on the heel is less than appears in the photos and I can feel it on the road and in my knees and ankles. I haven't heard them squeak, but I'm sure that's to follow. Very disappointing.
This shoe is comfortable sure, but it is the loudest shoe I have ever owned. It has been 3 months since I purchased these and they have not stopped squeaking since. No amount of breaking them in via running, walking, or any other activity will stop the noise. DO NOT BUY THESE IF YOU CARE ABOUT CONSTANT LOUD SQUEAKING ON EVERY STEP YOU TAKE.
I created an account on here just to review these shoes, that’s how annoyed I am. I don’t buy new running shoes every often so when I bought these, I was pretty excited. About a week into owning them, they began to squeak with every step. At work, people know when I’m coming down the hallway from 100 ft away. I’ve considered returning them, but after several runs, they’ve gotten so dirty, I’m not sure they’d accept the return(they probably would, but I wouldn’t feel good about it).Anyway. If this can save someone else from the constant squeak, then I’ll be happy that my squeaky shoe ownership and subsequent review was not in vain.
Just got in a pair of these, and they fit very nicely and are very comfortable. I have had previous editions of the nike quest, and I can say that these shoes feel different and better than the old editions (my feet are picky so this is saying something). I will say that the white ones are slightly more grey than the pictures let on. Otherwise, these are fantastic shoes, and time will tell if the durability is worth the price.
These squeaks so much. Whenever I go for a walk, they feel normal. But after 30 minutes waking or so, they start squeaking so annoyingly. I had to apologise to people walking with me in the past.Would not recommend.
