I like the look and feel of the shoes and at first I thought the squeaking was just the soles being sticky on tile but it got worse the few times that I have worn them. Realizing it wasn't just grippy soles, I was able to replicate the issue on carpet. My guess is that two of the internal materials were not glued properly and this sound is them sliding on each other inside the shoe. Will be returning for a refund.

Our 11-year-old boy has wide feet and it's hard to find running shoes for him. I bought these at the store because the front/toes area looked wider than other brands. Also, the cloth material looked like it would strech and would allow his feet to be comfortable. We were both pleased to see that these are comfy for him! Thank you, Nike for making shoes like this pair for my boy!

These are my everyday running shoes, I bought my first pair over a year ago and loved it. I have just replaced it with a new pair in a different color. They’re very comfortable to my feet and I got them in an amazing deal. The only downside is the annoying squeaky noise, hence 4 stars, however it doesn’t bother me that much since I only use them for outdoor running
I like the look but they are embarrassingly squeaky. Wish I knew that before buying. Waited over 6 months to begin wearing and was unhappy with the noise. Contacted Nike and they said I must return at my cost and the adjuster would review and possibly send me a voucher. They could not tell me how much to expect on the voucher. Very disappointing. Decided to keep them to use when doing in home chores or yard work. Will look at a different brand for outdoor running sneaker next time.
These are advertised as running trainers. I bought then to try as gym shoes as the heel support seems relatively low. I regularly do HIIT, combat, pump, spin so, needed a supportive, stable, not too bulky trainer. These are performing well from pump to circuits. Not sure I'd actually road run in them as there is little bounce and cushioning. All in all, a very decent trainer for the money, especially with discounts.
I love the the way the Quest 5 locks in my heel. There is ZERO heel slip. Other running shoes I can feel my heel slip out slightly, which I find very annoying. This is the number one quality of the Quest 5, and I really appreciate this.The Quest 5 is comfortable and flexible. But it isn't SUPER comfortable like a Nike React Infinity or Nike Pegasus. But those are flagships so not a fair comparison, those are in a differant price category. The Quest 5 is a great and affordable walking/normal everyday shoe, and okay for short runs but I wouldn't want to run more than a couple miles in these. I created an account on here just to review these shoes, that’s how annoyed I am. I don’t buy new running shoes every often so when I bought these, I was pretty excited. About a week into owning them, they began to squeak with every step. At work, people know when I’m coming down the hallway from 100 ft away. I’ve considered returning them, but after several runs, they’ve gotten so dirty, I’m not sure they’d accept the return(they probably would, but I wouldn’t feel good about it).Anyway. If this can save someone else from the constant squeak, then I’ll be happy that my squeaky shoe ownership and subsequent review was not in vain.
I bought one pair of Nike quest 5 and only wore them a few times. Shortly after I found them on sale and purchased another pair. After wearing the first pair for a short time they started to make a squeaking noise every step. So I started wearing the new pair and they didn’t squeak. A week later it started. The shoes have tiny knobs on the tread and as soon as they wear down it starts. I could not be more disappointed. Both pair are practically new and I can’t stand to wear them.
