The Nike React Infinity Flyknit Running Shoes are amazing. Like other Nike Flyknit shoes, the upper is a stretchy, comfortable woven fabric that hugs your feet in just the right way. The soles are supportive. The color and design are beautiful and eye catching. Overall, the comfort and design make these a pair of shoes I will keep reaching for!... Show more

I absolutely love these shoes! However, I bought the woman’s version. They are breathable extremely comfortable. They come in a size wide, which is perfect for my feet because I have a wider foot but then also I am a long distance runner these shoes so far are my absolute favorite! they support the ankle and they are very durable, especially since I put a lot of miles on these shoes ... A real awesome workhorse with room for improvement
I'm just got my 2nd pair of these. I got nearly 600 miles out of the 1st pair so that should tell you that they're incredibly well-cushioned, supportive, and durable. Word I've been hearing is that these may be replacing the zoom structures? They are marketed to be injury prevention shoes and I have some thoughts on this but I think it is a worthy and attainable pursuit. If you are prone to shin splints then these shoes are definitely for you. The thick, wide, react midsole and plastic guide-rail have a wonderful blend of cushioning and support while allowing natural movement. If plantarfascitits is your krytonite then these shoes might have a little too much give in them to entirely relieve or prevent the microtears or inflamation there and I think the zoom ... If plantarfascitits is your krytonite then these shoes might have a little too much give in them to entirely relieve or prevent the microtears or inflamation there and I think the zoom structures have the upper hand in this area. Maybe a midfoot shank or a block of denser foam in the area could help with this? (I don't claim to be an expert). The flyknit upper is snug, strong, lightweight, and breathes really well but I think the heel counter could be more comfortable, supportive, and secure if it were built more like a traditional (structure/vomero) heel counter. The shoe is not really a speed shoe but is wonderful for recovery runs, steady state runs, and long runs. I would definitely be interested in a winterized version of this shoe (without a flyknit upper obviously) for those cold, wet runs. I'm looking forward to seeing where Nike goes with this shoe.... Awesome awesome cushion but the arch is to narrow and clip goes down way to far on the shoe. Should just stay in the heel.
Awesome cushion and looks great. My one and biggest complaint which counts for more than just this shoe but also the zoomx shoes like the next% and the alphafly all have the same problem. The arch is so not necessary. I get it looks cool and love the looks of the shape. But the way the arch cuts in by inches from the heel and forefoot is just crazy and so uncomfortable. It throws me such a bad mood because the shoe tech is amazing. I have so much hope for the new zoomx shoe, the zoomx invincible is everything I’ve been asking because the heel clip stays in the heel and off the cushion and more important doesn’t go all the way down to the mid foot arch area. I’m waiting for you to still make a casual shoe with zoomx and make it wide for stability no plates no clips just that sweet cushion underfoot for comfort. Thank you hope this helps God bless... Comfortable but sloppy
These shoes were not what I was expecting. I wear a size 10 in Pegs and 10 in the Vaporfly 4% Flynit so I purchased the React Infinity Run in a size 10. With the Flynit upper on the React Infinities, I was expecting a foot hugging fit and feel similar to the Vaporfly Flynit. That was not the case with React Infinities. The heel stability is frustratingly sloppy. During my first 7 mile run in them this evening, they definitely felt very soft and comfortable, but it also felt like my heel kept slipping out, which bothered me because I couldn't stop thinking about it the for the entire run. My heels did not feel locked in at all like they do in the Vaporflys and not as secure as in the Pegs. To make matters worse, Nike did not include the extra pair of eyelets at the ... My heels did not feel locked in at all like they do in the Vaporflys and not as secure as in the Pegs. To make matters worse, Nike did not include the extra pair of eyelets at the top of the lacing system to create the "runner's loop" that provides a more secure fit for the hindfoot. The wider toe box also seems to take away from foot hugging purpose of the Flynit. Additionally, the Flynit did not seem to respond all that well when turning through corners. I keep getting a sliding sensation of my feet in the React Infinities during these portions of my run. I do believe a size 10 was correct size for me in these because my toes would have been touching the front of the shoe with a 9.5. I honestly don't understand why Flynit was used on these trainers. Flynit is lightweight and makes sense of racing shoes, but why is it needed on everyday training or recovery shoes? Saving a couple ounces just doesn't seem worth it on a pair trainers.... Show more

Great new React shoe!
I currently run in the Epic React 2, Peg Turbo 2, and Hoka Rincon. Run 30-40 miles per week on the road/treadmill.Fit: Similar to the Epic React but with a little more room in the toebox. The material in the toe area is a different material and not quite as form-fitting as in the react. The tongue area is still flyknit so you get the same "hug your foot" feeling in the midfoot. I was able to go down a half size from the React 2 with still a bit more toe room. There is more noticeable arch support that I felt right away but I tend to like that feeling and I didn't notice it while running.Ride: Due to the wider forefoot and heel area as compared to the Epic React 2 and Peg Turbo 2, the ride is noticeably more stable. I was hesitant to try these shoes due to the extra weight (about 1-2 ounces heavier than Epic and Turbo, respectively) but I could barely feel the extra weight. The shoes are well-balanced and the rocker really helps move your foot from landing to toe-off. Compared to the Rincon, the rocker is more noticeable and I find the ride much smoother. The React foam strikes a good balance between firm and soft and has just the right amount of responsiveness.Durability: I'm about 170 lbs. and have gotten about 500 miles on the Epic React's and so far about 300 on the Turbo 2, so I expect the Infinity React's to hold up just as well.... Lives up to my expectations
This is really a quality running shoe. I have moved away from buying Nikes lately because the shoes I bought didn't often live up to my expectations based on Nike's description and characteristics of shoes. However, after reading a lot of positive reviews I invested in this shoe and it was everything I had hoped for.I am 70 years old and currently training for my 9th marathon. My arches are fairly low to medium and I weigh 170 pounds. I normally wear a neutral shoe. Most of my work is done on the road unless there is really inclimate weather and then I use the treadmill.I got this shoe hoping to find something that I could train in the last 6 weeks or so and then wear in the marathon.I wanted something that was comfortable but not "squishy" and heavy like a lot ... I found that this shoe gave me exactly what I wanted. The shoe gives me unbelievable comfort without being "weighty". I still get that feeling for the road without the discomfort of pounding or jarring.I normally use different model shoes for long runs and speed/tempo work, but I find that I can use these for all workouts.I am really impressed with the amount of room in the toe box area. I have medium width feet and find that there is plenty of room for the toes without the feeling of them being "crunched" together.I highly recommend this shoe to anyone looking for a comfortable shoe for the roads.... Really good all around.
I genuinely love these. They’ve proven to be extremely comfortable. I have wider feet, but generally regular shoes fit me better than wide shoe because they often widen the toe box but not the middle of the shoe. I have noticed higher end Nike running shoes to be trending more and more towards narrower feet. I found the Next% to be too narrow for me, and also for my wife, who has very average (not wide or flat or any of the other common irregularities) feet. I am so glad that this is a shoe that fits well and remains comfortable through all of my miles. I do have some kind of unusual gait, and often end up with slight runner’s knee, or various other aches and pains after a longer run, beyond standard muscle soreness. I haven’t had any of that so far with this shoe. ... MoreI genuinely love these. They’ve proven to be extremely comfortable. I haven’t had any of that so far with this shoe. The Infinity Run does the best job of any shoe that I have tried of seeming to propel me forward in a comfortable and natural way. I have also found them to be reasonably light weight, which is surprising considering the size and comfort of the sole. I have been putting a lot of miles on these desperately trying to find come cons and haven’t been successful. I suspect that these run a little small since I am a full size up from my ususal size, and they seem to fit perfectly.... Show more

Solid Training Shoe!!
I am exclusive Nike user when it comes to running so this review is incredibly biased. That being said, I have this in a 4 shoe rotation right now with 2 pairs of Pegasus Turbo 1's and a pair of Turbo 2's. The Turbo 1 is my favorite Nike trainer of all time. The infinity reacts are an awesome addition. I agree with some of the other comments that this is a great recovery day trainer. That's solely what I have been using it for and have done nothing outside with it yet, only treadmill work so far, which is why I gave it an average on durability because I just don't know how it handles outside. Based on the outsole, I would say its a definite improvement over the previous reacts which were not durable at all on the out sole. These reacts are roomier in toe and the ... Based on the outsole, I would say its a definite improvement over the previous reacts which were not durable at all on the out sole. These reacts are roomier in toe and the flyknit is unbeatable when it comes to comfort. The upper is basically a glove like fit and there is no tongue, its all integrated. The laces have been great and do not come untied unlike some other running shoes Nike has put out, i.e. the Turbo 2's, and the Next%'s. Cushioning is great, although the heel is really squishy if you're a hard core heel striker. The fore foot is wide and incredibly supportive. The mid foot cushioning is a stiffer than the heel and the way the shoe is designed, I feel like it gets me on my toes a little more ( I am a mid foot striker). The white and salmon color looks killer btw. Hope they come out with more colors. I think this shoe could be an all around trainer but I am not there with it yet. I definitely would not race in these but that's also due to the fact that I have Next%'s.... Show more

Worth every cent
In taking the plunge to buy these I was concerned that I was spending way too much money on shoes just to go run. After having gone on a few jogs in them (I average 3-4 miles per run/jog) I can say they are worth every cent. I am a big guy (6’1” and 350lbs) and the cushioning these provide is the only way my knees and back can take the high impact. They have a large “landing zone” for your foot so you land square and don’t roll your ankle, and are super lightweight so it doesn’t feel like you’re jogging with concrete in your shoes. The upper is really nice, fits well but stretches so my feet don’t hurt toward the end of the jog as they swell up. Only thing, and not really a negative just a design reality, is there isn’t a ton of lateral support so if you’re running ... Only thing, and not really a negative just a design reality, is there isn’t a ton of lateral support so if you’re running on uneven trails or looking for a shoe to cross train or also lift weights in, I wouldn’t recommend these. They are a true, one purpose running shoe, and they fulfill that purpose perfectly for me. Getting money together so I can order another set in custom colors now that I know how much I like them! Sizing note: I wear a 13 in all my Nikes, and these in a 13 fit just a little bigger than my cross training shoes, but slightly more snug than my Air Force Ones, so for me as least the sizing was just right based on ordering my usual size....
