The Nike React Pegasus Trail 4 shoes provide incredible support, especially around my ankles and at my arches. The lightweight material is durable, while the mesh offers some breathability. They fit true to size. I appreciate that I can run comfortably on many different surfaces and that they transition smoothly from paved roads to dirt trails. I’ve also worn them out for a full day of running errands, and they are perfectly comfortable for the duration of the trip. One of my favorite features is the traction pattern on the bottom of the shoe which provides extra grip on rough terrain. The lip curves inward at the top & hugs your heels, preventing them from slipping up & down, which I feel is more likely to happen when running on a slope/ uneven surface.Another pro I noticed is the tread. It has a web-like design on 3/4’s of the inner part of the front half of the foot, along with a tire tread-like design on the outer 1/4 of the front half of the foot & the back half of the foot. This allows for good traction & peace of mind that you’re less likely to lose your footing & face plant.The only thing I would caution (other than the aforementioned size issue) is that the arch support is average, so if you’re someone that requires a higher level of arch support, these might not be for you.Overall, though, I would definitely recommend these for anyone looking for a good trail sneaker!

The soles of the shoe looks and feels like it is made up of a foam material.In trialing the shoe, I was pleasantly surprised with the fit and feel of the shoes. The shoes were very form fitting, soft and offered a lot of support throughout the sole of my feet. This was also a very noticeable arch support in the shoe. The tongue of the shoe was very soft and thin.After a week of running, I am very pleased and satisfied at how much cushion and support this shoe has. The material was very breathable and kept my feet cool and dry. Unfortunately, like all other shoes that are breathable, if you step in a puddle or mud, you’ll more then likely have wet socks. The Nike React Pegasus Trail 4 has great traction and felt great on the trails, paved roads and on the treadmill.In the end, I would highly recommend this shoe to anyone that is looking for a no-nonsense running shoe that is not too flashy and has a great feel. This shoe is great for indoor and outdoor running. The shoe is very light, comfortable, and will keep you running for hours.

Very comfortable. Finally improved the finger loop, you can actually put your finger through it this generation. Slight raised heel accounts forward leaning posture which naturally propels you forward feeling like a fast running shoe. Perfect balance of cushion for road/light trails. Very happy with this generation on the pegasus trail. Can not comment for the Gtx versions as I have not got a new pair of those yet, however my wife is happy with her new ones Gtx trail 4s. These non Gtx ones feel very different to my Gtx trail 3s. They are more comfortable, slightly more cushion and rebound, which I prefer.If there was a negative, the sole tread could be ever so slightly longer. I believe it will grind down very quickly after a few runs converting from road to train.

Pretty solid running/trail shoes. The pattern of the shoes was basic, but liked that they looked like a hybrid between running and hiking shoes. They are lightweight and material looks like it would make it easy to clean off/rinse off dirt from paths.The vamp of the shoe is wider than average which provides good foot coverage/support for running on unpaved paths. The sole is on the firmer side lending protection when running on small rocks or sticks found on trails. The designs on grooves on the soles grip the ground well giving you good stability when on unleveled surfaces . The sole is a bit on the firmer side so I dont see myself running in these for very long distance runs. I could definitely hike in this but wont rely on these for hardcore hiking as they dont ... There is a toe piece to provide protection. The overall aesthetic design of the shoe looks good enough to wear everyday even outside of running. I like that the branding is well incorporated into the shoe and not just an afterthought. The toe box is a bit too snug and narrow for my wider foot but it does provide good support for those with medium to narrow widths. I also found that my heel slipped and lifted up a little. The Nike React Pegasus Trail 4 sneakers are one of the most enjoyable pairs of sneakers I've ever worn. When ever I put these shoes on, I instantly feel motivated to go for a run and be active. As a busy mom, that is a huge win, as it is sometimes hard to feel motivated after a long day! The style of the shoe is extremely sharp. Typically for myself, I would only wear a running or walking shoe with doing those exercises however these shoes also fits in with attire for going out to other activities such as going out to dinner. For running, I typically like a firm shoe with quite a bit of support. When you get strong support I feel like you lose a bit of cushion and bounce for comfort. These shows give the perfect amount of firm support in combination with enough cushion and comfort to go for a quality run without any discomfort or pain. The laces are another nice feature as they never fall out and are very simple to tie and untie. Lastly I don’t think it is possible to have a better grip on the bottom of a sole that you may want to work out indoors or outdoors with. For me, it has a perfect arch and the bottom has a substantial amount of all terrain grip that makes it easier to run in both indoors and outdoors. I am a creature of habit that when he finds something he likes will continue to use and purchase again, these sneakers are going to be a repeat purchase for myself and I’ll be sure to be telling my family and friends about them.
