All around great shoe
As a new mom, I am always on my feet, as well as looking for a trendy piece of apparel to help motivate me to continue to stay active. I have owned numerous pairs of Nike tennis shoes, but the Nike React Pegasus Trail 4 is by far one of the more comfortable pairs of tennis shoes I have tried on or exercised in. They fit true to size and I did not have to size up like I sometimes have to with other running shoes. They are the perfect snugness on both the sides and top of my foot. They are breathable and look great with both no show or ankle socks. The peachy pink and purple color scheme is feminine and pop against any athletic apparel. The laces also add a great pop of pizazz to the overall look of the shoe. These are great shoes for all day wear. You can slip them ... You can slip them on for your morning jog, but keep them on until it’s time to get ready for bed. They have been my go to shoe for all day wear. When walking, there is so much cushion in the sole of the shoe/heel, that you truly feel the shoes absorbing the shock as you run or walk on non level or rocky surfaces. Overall, these shoes are extremely comfortable, but the only downside is the heel sits a little high and tends to rub slightly depending on the type of sock you choose to wear. After a few days I had broken them in, and the slightly high back was a worry of the past.... Show more

Best running shoes
I recently started on a fitness journey and needed good shoes to run in. Problem with most shoes is they are too narrow on the toes and they hurt my toes. These don’t have that problem. They have plenty of toe room for my toes. My feet don’t hurt after wearing them. They are by far my most comfiest shoes I’ve ever had. They have a little bounce to them and lots of cushion. I bought the hi visibility color so that people can see me coming. I’m going to buy another pair in another color.... Show more

Hit The Trails
I wasn’t sure if I was going to like these shoes but they won me over. The fit out of the box was not initially what I expected. I felt like they ran slightly big, especially in the toe box and unlike running shoes I’ve owned, they made my foot rock back more on my heel. It took about a day or two to really break them in, but then they got better and more comfortable each time I wore them. After a day or two of just wearing them around I went for some walks and hikes in the mountains around my house on some very uneven terrain, gravel, and pavement and they felt great! I actually liked the position they put my foot in and my feet felt very supported. The traction is great and they are light and well ventilated as well.I actually love the style of the shoe overall ... There are a lot of really nice design elements to this shoe like the Nike logo placement on the outside of the shoe and the little mountain detail on the inside that ties into the sole of the shoe. The features I liked most about these shoes were the cool details in the design and the aggressive tread for trails and off-road adventures. The only thing I might change would be a smaller toe box because it was a little too roomy just based on my personal preference and I would probably go with a more neutral color next time.... Nice Shoes!
These shoes are nice. They fit well as expected and feel structured but comfortable. I wear a 7.5-8 typically and the 8 is perfect. The overall design is nice. I like the amount of sole and heel, as well as the breathability of the mesh at the toes. They are also light-weight. There is a nice amount of room in the toe area for the toes to move around freely, which I like, but my foot stays in the shoe. These shoes are comfortable enough to wear all day. I really like the breathability of these shoes the most. I find that airflow to be really nice. I think the only thing I would change would be to add more of a gel insole to make them a tad more cushioned. But overall, they are very nice as is, fit great, and perform well. I would recommend them.... Show more

Nope
Had a previous version of the Pegasus Trail shoe and LOVED them. I wore them out and needed a new pair. I thought these were a no brainer as I loved the ones I had. Nope!! Blisters, right away. Even with making the laces tighter and utilizing the second loop it was impossible not to get a blister. I initially assumed it was just a "breaking in" issue. I have had these for months and if I want to wear them I have to put bandages across my heel or I am screwed. They also just aren't as comfortable as my previous pair. First pair of Nikes that I am truly disappointed in.... Show more

Overall Decent shoe
My friends bought me these for Christmas. My usual Nike size is 8.5-9 because Nikes are hit or miss for me due to having wide feet at the moment, not to mention one is bigger than the other. They have sat in my closet for that reason until now. They’re not as “sleek” as some of the other shoes but do have a good bounce which I find necessary for hikes. They’re overall growing on me.Regarding size. I’m torn on it because I feel an 8.5 would’ve sufficed for these because I have plenty of toe room but I also feel if I go any smaller the shoe will be too tight. I’m nervous to run in them due to that so may just continue to use them for hiking. So just be mindful of sizing and do your research.... Show more

Real comfort
I am loving these trail shoes. The color way is such fun pop for any neutral colored outfit, and also a cool contrast to a bold top. So far I have worn them for all day errands, a hike, and a cleaning job. They were supportive and very comfortable. I used the runners extra lace hole (I am unsure what these are called) when hiking, and it kept my foot from sliding and experiencing heal pain. When I wasn't using it, they did slide just slightly and may have caused discomfort had I not opted to lace up higher. The toe box is nice and wide and did not squeeze at all. I have flat feet and for the first few hours I thought the arch support would be too much. However after longer wear, they have molded to my feet and do not bother me at all. The grip on different terrain is excellent, they are light weight, and provide a little bounce when running. I'm looking forward to wearing these for some longer and more challenging trails, as I think they will serve me well. If you need a new all around athletic type sneaker, I highly recommend these.... Shoe that will brighten your day
Purple and orange are not colors you think would go well for a shoe, but I love this footwear combo! My husband calls these shoes “dreamsicle”! They are like a little ray of sunshine on your feet and perfect for the upcoming spring and summer season in my opinion!I do feel the shoes ran a half size small so my usual size was too snug for a run. They were perfect for walking, elliptical and weight training, but I can’t speak to running as they were too small for me for that activity. Wish I had gone up a half size. Very comfortable for the activities mentioned and I really liked the slim nature of the tongue of the shoe. Some can be very bulky. The shoe was also lightweight, breathable, cushy with nice arch support. I’d classify it as a neutral shoe. Since I’m flat ... Since I’m flat footed, I felt I needed a tiny bit more arch support and my over the counter Superfeet orthotic insert fit well in this shoe. The generous toe box is good for anyone with bunions or other toe issues.I think my least favorite part of the shoe is the darker orange part of the design toward the sole. Maybe another color so it’s less busy?... Show more

The Goldilocks of road running (for me) Just the right amount of cushion and support
I’ve been running in Brooks for the past two years. I got the Nike Pegasus 39 and I really like them. They have less cushion than the brooks.I saw The Pegasus trail 4 were pretty cheap and I decided to get them and I am so happy with them. They are reactive and have great cushion. More than the adrenaline, more than the regular Pegasus and they have extra support as well.If you like the Pegasus for road running but need some extra support, these are awesome. I’ve probably got about 40-50 miles on them (roads not too many trails) and they look great still.I think my fav shoe is the brooks glycerin for long easy runs but these are a close second.Prefer these to the brooks ghost by far- and adrenaline too- I think they might be a tad too supportive for me.If ... Very happy with the product at the sale price that I paid
Great shoes. Very comfortable and fit as I expected. There were 2 very slight imperfections. One on each foot, near the toe. A small indent as if the cardboard had not been properly fit into the shoe will in storage. Minor enough at this price I don't mind for a few wearings would create a small dent or crease anyhow. At full price however I would not have accepted them. I would suspect that some of these shoes are "seconds". Minor flaws that will not allow Nike, for example, to send them out at full price so they are sold to other outlets such as this at sale prices with no returns. That all said, I am very happy with the purchase and would buy here again. But I will always read the earlier reviews very carefully before purchasing.... Show more
