Had a really hard time finding romaleo 4s to get shipped to New Zealand, not to mention the amount of dodgy looking sites on google. Happened to find this beauty of a store
and decided to place an order, very fast shipping.Shoes are GREAT! I normally squat barefoot with weightlifter mobility, bought these shoes and my joints feel so much better
at the full ROM of my squats ATG! Cant wait to only progress from here on with these shoes.Very stable shoes, well attached to foot when worn, nice weight to it too.Thank you
City Strength! Will be back in the future if i need more gear for sure :)))

Great ankle support, very good if you have mobility issues or previous injuries. Especially good if you’re working up to more weight. They are very heavy and feel like ski
boots like others have mentioned, but if you read the name of the shoe… they are for weightlifting lol.. you need that support, definitely recommend.Very accommodating for
wide feet as well, I did not have any issues with the arch supports as others have mentioned, they’ve also said they had to go up half/a size but I did not have to yet. I would
recommend breaking them in first and seeing then if you need to. (mine arrived yesterday, took them to the gym today and had no issues. I wear 8.5 men/10.5 ... Show more

I was initially unsure how much of a difference weight lifting shoes would make. However, reading ‘Starting Strength’ by Mark Rippetoe, he recommends lifting shoes as one
of the best investments you can make. So I thought I would give them a try.I’m so glad I took the plunge and bought a pair of the Nike Romaleo 4s online. They are built like a
tank and feel rock solid for squats and deadlifts.Reading other reviews that they are narrow and a tight fit, I went up half a size. My feet are fairly neutral; not particularly
narrow or wide. The half size up fit like a glove.I would highly recommend the Nike Romaleo 4s.

Great shoe for SOME lifters
2 February 2024
This is a great shoe - the quality, construction and durability are all fantastic! But, the heel height is 20mm, so this is very good for people that need help with additional heel flexibility to hit depth on squats. The heel was too high for me personally, it would push me forward putting more emphasis on my vastus medialis and less glutes which would basically mimic a front squat and not a back squat. I wasn't able to squat as much, and as a powerlifter - the change in heel height effected my strength. Again, great shoe for the right person but I still prefer squatting in my Metcons which have a 4mm heel lift.... Show more

Ideal for the Classic Olympic Lifter
26 July 2024
Solid, stable, great lateral and arch support; excellent and durable construction.Ideal for the class Olympic lifter build with short legs and a longer torso.Very good but not ideal for the longer-legged lifter, as the relatively lower heel lift will encourage a tendency to put weight on the toes at the bottom of squats and pulling exercises, which in my experience inhibits power. For these lifters, something like the old Risto Sports, with a bit more heel lift, would be a better choice. (Alas, the Ristos are no longer in production, I believe.)... Show more

Not too bad.

I was searching for a good workout shoe. Checked out no bull, hoka, on, and Nike. Decided to go with these. After watching some YouTube reviews, I decided to go with these. They are stylish yet pretty functional for my workout needs. I usually wear an 8.5 and that is what I ordered. After putting them on, they fit pretty snug, but not to the point making it uncomfortable. Much more snug than other shoes I’m used to. However, I’ve never owned a shoe intended for weightlifting. They are pretty comfortable and give a great balance when doing standing weightlifting. Only real complaint I would give is I wish the Velcro strap would be a tad bit longer. The price point is right about average to lower than most workout shoes. Overall, I’m pretty happy with them.... Show more

Solely for weightlifting, not cardio or cross.
25 June 2024
Great for weightlifting but not much else. I was mainly looking for something to replace my old Superreps to continue my Insanity workouts and these were advertised as being good for cross-training, but they just aren’t. They’re extremely sturdy and excellent weightlifting shoes, they look incredible, but outside of that they’re far too stiff and heavy to be useful for cardio of any kind. Trading mine in for a metcon or alpha to try to find a suitable replacement for intense cardio workouts. The sizing suggestions are spot on. Order one half size/size up.... Show more

Solid leg day shoe
11 September 2023
Velcro has been fine. I use them twice a week for legs day only. They strap tight enough to make your feet numb. The insoles are rock hard too. They are so solid and inflexible that they are impractical for anything other than leg exercises. They clip when you walk. They are absolutely not comfortable, but they aren’t supposed to be. They change the way lifts feel bc they alter the lines of the lift. I won’t type out the physics of that, but it is noticeable and puts more focus on anterior chain muscles. The colors (white/pink/orange) are bright and fun.... Show more

Unmatched Comfort & Durability!!
27 August 2024
Very nice shoe from the color to the style. I received many compliments and when I wear them in the gym, folks know I mean business. However, they run small. Nike usually fits me true to size but this particular shoe fit to tight. I exchanged it for a 1/2 larger and they fit perfect. The comfort and the support during weightlifting is unmatched and therefore considering another color in shoe. Hands down one of the best weightlifting shoes I've owned.... Show more
