I love this hoodie. I love the weight. The hood fits great. The pocket is a good size and even has an interior pocket to keep your hands warm in colder weather. Which fixes the problem with big front hoodie pockets. My only issue with this hoodie is that the length is shorter than my preference. It’s a particular look, but not my personal preference. That’s the only reason I couldn’t give it a perfect five stars.

This SB Nike Hoodie is one of the most comfortable hoodies available. It is so soft from the inside and very lightweight. These types of hoodies are great for everyday use and you can’t even feel the weight of the hoodie which makes it great to keep on at all times. The only issue I have is that sizing could be better, im usually a size L and this feels good on the sleeves but short from the waist. I would recommend this hoodie for anyone looking for something that matches with anything, simple, and comfortable.

It's a super comfortable hoodie, great for the fall season! A warm hoodie that can go with many different styles and layers. I like the solid color and small Nike SB logo. The super soft and warm material will keep you warm in the cold weather. The only change I will make is to have the hoodie's hood layers stitched together or a single layer. the hood might need some adjusting from time to time. Overall, it's a solid choice for the winter season and can recommended enough!

For whatever reason, when this material touches and surrounds my skin, it makes sweating an inevitability. The breathability feels terrible and my torso just generates too much heat for a new/new-ish Nike hoodie to be a great choice a lot of the time. And it’s not even an outside heat/temperature problem because it makes me sweat even when it’s cold. The issue is more the fabric touching my skin than it is the heat chamber the hoodie creates since larges are so much better than mediums with these hoodies. When I wear a shirt under the hoodie though, it just generates more heat and is too hot. The sweat makes the material feel weird and then the issue is even worse. This happened with this SB hoodie, but it’s not as bad as usual.This specific SB hoodie is a large (which I tend to prefer over my TTS medium for both fashion and function) and it fit very comfortably with plenty of room. The extra space is very useful for actual skating, as I can pump my arms and twist my hips with a full range of motion and nothing touching my armpits. In action, this hoodie felt great aside from the fact that it trapped so much heat. Breathability is huge when I’m on my skateboard, as feeling the wind hit me - even on a colder day - is part of why I love skating. When I skate on a chilly day, my torso and arms are still doing a lot of work and generating heat, and the wind through my shirt/sweatshirt offers a lot of relief, so hockey jerseys are really my go-to. If I was to head out on cold day with no intentions of skating, I would reach for this hoodie over many others. In practice, I felt no wind through this Nike SB hoodie skating.Strangely enough, Nike hoodies tend to let a lot of cold air in on a windy day. This SB version does not seem to have this problem which is a huge plus when wearing casually, but it’s hard to tell since it’s ~70F outside most of the time this time of year. I honestly think the stitching on the seams of this hoodie are immaculate and above the usual standard. Seams are tightly woven and the reinforcements along each line give me confidence the hoodie will last. The inside of the seams where the fabric crosses inside the arms/down the side of the torso feel really shallow compared to the usual bunch of fabric that shark-fins out at your body where seams meet. This hoodie being a large, I know the cuffs won’t cling to my wrists or waist and lose elasticity over the years.It is hard to screw up a black hoodie in the fashion world, and I think the fit of this one makes it a good option for those into the usual skater’s style. In a world obsessed with being different and niche, a plain Nike swoosh with “SB” is a little underwhelming, but they will sell regardless. The improved fit and (at least perception of) increased quality will move products easily. A tiny change or two could do this some good, like skate-shoe-style laces or something like that. I do appreciate the small stitch in the back of the hood so the laces stay in place - always a nice touch. Drop shoulders and boxy fit are always going to be a winner for me. The pocket within the pocket is a great bonus though and not too small to be useless.The hood is probably the best I’ve ever had on a Nike product. It sits low on my collarbone when it’s up, which is a relief since I hate hoodies that pull on my throat. I can put the hood up with a fitted cap on and still breathe very comfortably. It keeps its shape and gives me a ton of room to move, which is reason enough to pick this hoodie over a lot of others since it feels so nice and spacious whether it is up or down. It may be the factory starch, but man I can’t compliment the hood’s integrity enough.Overall, this hoodie is a step up from the usual Nike hoodie, but I’m not sure if it’s just the SB reputation playing with me. Nice touches like a big hood (can’t stress enough how much I hate small, floppy hoods from the 90s especially) and extra pocket go a long way. Practical benefits like a boxy fit and flatter/tighter stitching make it worth the bump in price, but it’s hard to imagine the average consumer will notice a difference beyond the embroidered SB.
As a man of many interests this hoodie fits into many activities. Down to keeping things casual on a cool day. I really like the double layered hood. It’ll keep you warm. To add to it. The pocket inside of the kangaroo pocket was a welcome but unexpected feature. I also like the fleece interior lining of the hoodie, and how it fits me. Not tight, or too loose. Though, being a loose fit I expected it to be a bit looser. In my opinion higher quality drawstrings, and a 3-piece hood would have been the cherry on top. It’s a great looking quality piece, but it could have been executed a little better.

The u nk sb flc po hd essntl logo has a chunky feel to it, and the stitching is a nice touch along the seems. The u nk sb flc po hd essntl logo has a nice front pocket, that includes an additional pocket that's concealed. I'm a little torn about the concealed pocket. I think it could have been executed a little bit better, but could turn out the be useful somewhere down the line. Overall, solid hoodie with the Nike look we all know and love.
