The Nike SB Zoom Blazer Mid “Lucky Green” brings a decidedly Boston Celtics-inspired look to the venerable skate shoe. Though designed for skateboarding, appearing in the “Lucky Green” colorway, the SB Zoom Blazer elicits a distinctly retro basketball-style look. It’s not hard to imagine the shoe being worn by Celtics players during the mid-to-late ‘70s with its mostly two-tone, white-and-green appearance. Specifically, the shoe features a Lucky Green leather Swoosh paired with a white suede upper. Old school “Nike” branding is displayed on the green leather heel tab. Additional Lucky Green accenting includes a nylon tongue tag with “Nike SB” and “Blazer Mid” branding and a plush green interior lining. Nike places a gum insert on the toe of the white vulcanized rubber midsole. A Zoom Air cushioning unit is dropped into the heel, and assists in providing a comfortable ride whether on a skateboard or in the streets.
