I had an orginial pair of Air Force 1’s & hated them. Ended up selling them for like $50 but after I seen the SF version I fell back in love. These shoes are amazing & the style of
them is everything. I bought the green pair in my normal size. These are a little bigger at the heel part. I wore them one time and had the straps in the back, when I got home
the left strap was completely gone. I couldn’t find it anywhere so make sure you wear them around the shoe. Really wish Nike sold the straps because I don’t feel right
wearing them without the straps. These shoes are a must have, people really look when you wear them.

Own two different colorways of this shoe and thoroughly enjoyed the reactions of other people when they see the shoe.-Aesthetically, the shoe is very distinctive and easy to
wear with casual clothes.-Comfort-wise, the shoe is very supportive and provides adequate step-in comfort.-Durability is average due to the leather/suede portions being
susceptible to normal wear/tear.***The one issue I did run into was sizing. The second pair of shoes that I bought were two totally different sizes (Size 10/11 in Men). I now
have a very nice (albeit expensive) looking paper weight instead of a pair of shoes that I really looked forward to wearing.

Let's be real. You're not looking at this shoe for the support or the comfort (both of which are quite adequate, just for the record). You're looking at this shoe because it looks
super stylish. Bold yet understated. Futuristic yet simplistic. I will tell you that this shoe looks even better in person and is an absolute eye-catcher. I got these shoes yesterday
and have already received more complements on them than I care to count. I find that the toe is often the problem area of a stylish shoe as it will fade/wrinkle over time from
bending so often. Not on these. The pebbled leather hides the signs of folding/wrinkling, and white leather (I got the white/red pair) will not fade. Quite simply, th... Show more

Great but not very practical
31 May 2018
I have been wearing these shoes for a little while now, and They fit really nicely. They go snug around your feet thanks to the many ways of securing it. The downside is that they are not shoes that you put on fast. That is so far the only downside.... Show more

Great Style
18 October 2017
I've never been a fan of AF1, but love this modern, boot-like style with it's military elements, especially in the green colorway I bought (Sequoia). Here's the thing with the AF1 sole: It's very very chunky. It's a thick sole, wider than anything I am used to and the most difficult part about wearing these is they are not flexible in the slightest. They are very well cushioned and your foot will be comfortable no doubt, but at the cost of total isolation from the pavement. It's a really strange sensation that I've actually only ever experienced in really clunky winter boots. I've had to adapt the way I walk in them. First couple of times driving with these was really difficult also. It's a really strange sensation that I've actually only ever experienced in really clunky winter boots. I've had to adapt the way I walk in them. First couple of times driving with these was really difficult also. Again, my foot is so isolated from the outsole that I almost could not feel the pedals or what was going on beneath my foot. I have to adapt to how I drive when I wear these. Since I can't really feel what I'm doing, it can be hard to properly accelerate behind the wheel too.By the way, not sure if the description mentions this but the back of the heel (where the zip is) is padded. It's not terribly supportive, so if you are someone who walks heavy on the heel or likes it right up against the back of your shoe it's going to feel like there's nothing back there. The nylon upper is very collapsible. I walk more forward on my foot. All in all I'm happy with these. Wouldn't buy another pair as I was planning on buying in another color, but I bought these for the style and they did not disappoint me in that category.... Show more

Quality vs looks
18 March 2018
Looks pretty cool, have received half a dozen compliments already and been asked where I got the shoes, and have only owned them for two weeks. The reason I only put them at two stars is because of 1 major and one minor issue. The minor one is that the zipper will not stay zipped up unless the strap is holding it in place. Now comes the major issue. I wear jeans the majority of the time, now on the suede part of the shoe the greenish camo color is literally taking color from my jeans. I am extremely upset that I paid so much money for a pair of shoes that now permanently looks like they have dirt/grass stains on them and this started after only a few days of wear. I wish i could include pictures. Either save your money or never wear these with jeans. I would have ... MoreLooks pretty cool, have received half a dozen compliments already and been asked where I got the shoes, and have only owned them for two weeks. Shoe already falling apart after 4 wears
17 January 2018
Bought this shoe as a christmas gift for myself as it looks good and has a creative concept. I have only worn the shoe 4 times since I got it, three times to school, and once to a friends house. Shoe stitching began to fray first time I wore it and the "air vent" thing on the shoe fell off completely after the third time I wore it, and lace aglet fell off after the fourth time.... Show more

Strapped and Laced
3 October 2017
The Nike Special Field Air Force is an awesome shoe. I picked up the White and Gym Red colorway and I am in love. I have worn this shoe in very extreme weather and my feet were very dry. The leather is alright, the product text on the side of the shoes is a nice touch and unique, the laces are nice and rope like, the zippers at the heel look cool and make it easier to get your foot in (major problem with the high top version of these) the strap also looks cool while providing an extra level of sereneness, and the sole is the classic Air Force 1 sole we all love. The shoe fits like an air force 1, so I did have to go down a size and a half from my true size. They fit snug on my narrow foot, definitely a good fit for all foot types. Theyre hard fams!!
11 May 2018
I bought them a few weeks ago. Theyre just too fly. The front aint normal plain leather. Its textured and the mix of that front abd the black oart being that miltary mesh material looks hard. The all black makes it look militant. And the zips let the top bit flare out when you pull them down. They looks hard with slim black jeans. The nike logo on the front tongue looks quite sick as well. One thing i clocked later was it doesnt have a nike tick on the sode but they still look haaaard!!... Show more

Very great colors / Nice urban design

Overall, this is a great shoe and I would highly recommend to any consumer that is looking to start up their collection. I ordered a size 12 and the shoe runs a half a size big. I ignored the other reviews online that mentioned this. If you like a more snug shoe then get a .5 size less.... Show more
