90 days: SuperRep disappointment
I love these SuperRep Cycling shoes, but I am very disappointed at their longevity. They lasted exactly 3 months (90 days!) before the cleat blew through the bottom of the shoe. This renders them useless immediately! The Nike warranty is 60 days so I had to send these back in to be evaluated. If they feel there was a defect I supposed I’ll get a store credit or something. Before I blew out the bottom, I should also note that the bottom of the shoe pushed through the insole. This made the shoes less comfortable as well as snagging my balega socks I was wearing. They run pretty true to Nike size vs other cycling shoes. They fit my fairly high volume foot, which was wonderful.I’d buy them again, but not until they workout some kinks when it comes to longevity. For ... Good, but not great.
These cleats look great and there’s a good connection between shoe and foot. However…they are quite narrow and have a lot of material involved in the overall design. I’ve never had a cleat get so soaked with sweat and maintain that moisture for so long. My older cleats would be dry a few hours after use, but these are noticeably damp 24 hours later. I actually think the mesh was not a good addition - I felt it would help my feet breathe but that has not been the case at all.The materials and construction are of the highest quality.I like them but I wouldn’t order them again I don’t think.... Great indoor cycling shoes, however, they run a size small.
I bought these shoes to use with my peloton. Thankfully, I read previous reviews with some saying they ran a little tight and to size up. Nike shoes are usually true to fit for me but I ordered a 1/2 size larger than my normal size. They fit a little snug but not tight although I do notice that about 15 minutes into my rides, my right foot starts to feel a little uncomfortable. Loosening the straps helps to alleviate this issue for me. I'm hoping the shoes will stretch a little after being broken in. The quality is nice and they feel like they will last a long time. I had to purchase delta cleats as they did not come with the shoes and they screwed right in with absolutely no issues whatsoever. Huge Upgrade from Peloton Shoes
I have owned my Peloton for a little over a year, and when these released, waited to make sure the hype was legitimate. I finally got these about 3 weeks ago, and am now regretting I didn't pre-order when they dropped. The shoe fits very well, although, as other have said, do consider a 1/2 size up. I am usually a 12 in more cycling and training shoes, and found the 12 1/2 here to be perfect. Going from Peloton's shoes to these is like hanging up a pair of rental skates, when your parents finally bought you your own. They're lighter, breathe far better, and I like how I can "feel" my pedal stroke more with them. I do wish I could get the toe strap a little tighter, but I suspect improvements will be made in future versions. All in all, a great step up and another ... Love them but not durable enough
I love the look of these and how breathable they are. I also love that they are made in standard U. S. Sizes instead of how most cycling shoes are sized. The downfall is that these lack durability completely. I’ve had these shoes for exactly three months and the base cracked right beneath the cleats. This would cause the sole of the should to bend up into my foot on a downward pedal stroke. These were strictly only used in indoor classes and taken well care of. I’m disappointed that they didn’t last long before breaking. Nike is allowing me to send them in for review and in exchange for another pair. I’ll see how long this pair lasts me (if Nike decides to replace them). I hope that Nike really works on how durable the sole of these shoes are. They need to be a ... They need to be a little stiffer/more tough to handle the high intensity of indoor cycling. Otherwise I love them. Hopefully an updated version will be released soon. It appears I’m not the only one this has happened to.... Show more

Love them, but they run small
I saw other reviews saying the shoes run small so I ordered 1/2 size up but they were still too small for me. I returned them and got a full size up from my regular shoe size and they fit great! The cleats were easy to install (I watched a YouTube video). Theyre super breathable - my in-studio classes are outdoors and theyre almost too breathable because my feet are cold during early morning classes :) based on other reviews I was concerned that the sole wouldnt be stiff enough but theyre fine even with a lot of resistance in and out of the saddle. I have a Peloton at home and love my Peloton shoes. I bought the Nikes for in-studio classes with SPD clips and Im extremely happy with them.... Show more

Not bad
This is my second pair in a different color that I have tried. Sent the first pair back because they didn't feel good. Tried of brands of cycling shoes and went back to these in the white. They look great in person and are well made. Much lighter than the Peloton shoes and breath more. Installing clips is easy but the ridges on the toes makes adjustments a little weird. Order a half size smaller and they will fit like a glove which is good. Still breaking them in but so far pretty good. Keeping these!... Show more

Not just for indoors
I have been wearing Nike cycling apparel since w-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-y before the Lance Armstrong debacle. In fact, I am still trying to find Nike cycling shorts, jerseys and shoes as the old stuff is really starting to show its age. That being said, I ordered the SuperRep indoor shoes on a flyer...they were on sale...in the hopes they would work outdoors. Much to my surprise, THEY DID!I gave them their first trial over seven vacation days in 100 degree Buckeye, Arizona heat and they performed beautifully. The soles aren't as stiff as normal outdoor cycling shoes would be but they are comfortable, lightweight and very breathable. I won't hesitate to use them on any warm-weather outdoor ride. Also, I do plan to buy another pair...as soon as they go on sale again. One ... Solid shoes but disappointed. Not a good fit
Overall pretty solid shoes but missed the mark for me.These shoes are very breathable while looking and feeling good. The straps are great at getting the foot a little more secure. But I was surprised that this pair of size 47.5 (13 US) shoes fits tighter than my size 47 shoes from another brand. The shoes are narrow and provides less room in the toe box area although it is standard width similar to my old shoes. Unfortunately for me the size 48.5 (14 US) is a little too large for me and Nike doesn’t make a size in between. I ordered both to get a good fit from home. The more serious flaw or production oversight is the clip itself. In the installation instructions Nike says to install the clip and cleat. Afterwards you reinsert the foam pad and insole. But you ... MoreOverall pretty solid shoes but missed the mark for me.These shoes are very breathable while looking and feeling good. Afterwards you reinsert the foam pad and insole. But you can’t reinsert the foam pad without having to step on a bulge under the insole. Instead you have to use the shoes without the pad. I’m not too sensitive but I can still feel the screws under the insole securing the cleat particularly during a harder effort. I don’t think Nike intended this given the instructions think the foam pad will fit with the unaffiliated standard cleat screws.Because of the fit and because my old shoes had no real defect I’ll be returning both my pairs of shoes. I hope this review helps given this is a new product... Show more

Too much flex and not enough support
I really wanted to love these shoes. Nike's design aesthetic on these shoes are great. But the shoes lack full foot support — they only offer support up to the mid-sole — and what support is there is severely lacking. As a result, there's so much flex when I pedal on my Peloton, I'm essentially working much harder to achieve the same performance levels I did previously. (And I'm not even close to hitting those output numbers.) In fact, I almost twisted my ankle pedaling in these — something I never came close to doing in other, stiffer cycling shoes.Hard pass on these shoes if you're even remotely serious about indoor cycling....
