I immediately wished the shoes were my size and my child was thrilled to get to try them out!Our first reaction was that, while they look awesome, they were a bit challenging to get on. The sole seemed to be pretty flat so I would be a little hesitant letting my children wear them for a significantly long period of time or on slippery terrain.Overall this was a fun shoe! The look and colors were delightful. The style is stylish and appealing. The darker colors will hide dirt, wear, and tear well which is always something I consider with many children! It will definitely be one I grab for putting on my kids to go to a park with sports courts or paths, but I may leave it at home if we're going for a walk in the woods or if it has been rainy. I'm confident, though, that for the right activity, the Team Hustle D-11 shoes will provide the support and agility necessary for my kids and look GREAT doing so!!

And then there’s the strap - it’s rather short as it doesn’t cover the Velcro area on he shoe completely. Again, we got a whole size up, so, the shoes ought to be a little oversized, but instead, they’re overly snug.

Great basketball shoes as you would expect from Nike! The elastic up with Velcro closure was SO incredibly practical for easy on! Although the elastic was very tight the first few times slipping them on, we almost thought we wouldn’t be able to get them on! But, it loosened up enough so it’s just right to slip an average width medium arched foot into. The shoes are comfortable for a few hours of wear at a time and appear pretty breathable with mesh-topped sock liner and mesh sides. They are also lightweight. Pretty flexible and comfortable that they could be great dance/hip hop shoes, too. The color is very vibrant, might not be everyone’s favorite but they are certainly stand out shoes. She has wanted to wear these shoes every day since she got them, and has been disappointed when it rains and she has to wear galoshes instead.We both love the bright, bold colors. My 10 year old son's exact words when he first laid eyes on these shoes: WHOA!!!! Those are AWESOME!!!! And they are awesome! These shoes have a really cool, unique look to them, and the bright colors make them stand out in a crowd. My son has wide, large feet, so I was worried they'd feel tight or uncomfortable or be difficult for him to put on himself, and they were for the first couple of days, but they were quickly "broken in", and after a couple of days of wear they stretch to accommodate my son's big feet and he was able to easily put them on himself. He has autism, and still can't tie his own shoes, but sometimes he can be embarrassed about that. I typically buy “big kid” shoes and have to say these were roomy, they have a really wide footbed. For reference I would wear an 8.5/9 women’s depending on the shoe and had plenty of room in the big kid size 7.If you like bold these are your shoe! The bright pink and orange are eye-catching and I love the attention to detail with the ‘basketball’ velcro patch. These feature elastic laces which are great, no issues sliding on and off and paired with the strap are secure. I’ve owned a fair share of basketball shoes in the past and I have to say, these shoes are definitely near the top of the list in terms of durability. Throughout the time I’ve played basketball and walking around casually, they have held up extremely well. The downsize to this is the bulkiness of the shoe. For those who may be looking for a super lightweight shoe that they can move quickly in, these may not be your best option. It's not very flexible so was pretty difficult to insert my foot - the plus side is that it seems like it will be durable and long-wearing for kids who are hard on their footwear. The soles were thick and grippy, lots of tread. I love that there are no laces to tie; there are elastic laces and a velcro strap which are easier for kids to manipulate.
