Upon receiving these shorts I gave a very thorough inspection to their design and quality control. I sew professionally, so the stitch work on a piece is important to me. All the seams are well done on this garment and there were no stray threads that could get caught up while wearing or washing these. The main pockets are mesh so they stay breathable against the hips. There is also a small zipper pocket on the right butt that is also mesh. The zipper is in a nice place where it doesn't dig in while sitting or laying down straight, but it might dig in a little if you are doing stretches on the floor or yoga.The 2x fit my large hips and bum nice and comfortably. The drawstrings are high quality with a nice metal cap on the tips better than the usual shoe string ... The drawstrings are high quality with a nice metal cap on the tips better than the usual shoe string style plastic wrap you find on most shorts. The drawstring held exactly where I tied it and didn't slip or falter at all during my workout which includes running and using a trampoline.The fabric used is very lightweight and didn't pill after heavy usage where it rubs between the thighs like a lot of store bought athletic wear does for me. Because they are a more baggy style they did ride up my thighs throughout my workout, but that is common for all shorts with my body type. The fabric was also a tiny bit noisy, but if you are not working out in complete silence I don't think you would even notice it.I liked the way these worked for me. They are versatile and are a good quality pair of athletic wear shorts.

I was pleasantly surprised with how comfortable and lightweight these shorts were.The fit ran large in the waistband but the drawstrings made it adjustable which is a nice feature. The fabric is breathable and the length of these shorts is ideal. My favorite part of these shorts is the versatility of them - I could wear them running errands or during my workouts. Plus, the larger pockets are a bonus!Overall, these are durable shorts that are functional and affordable. I’ll definitely be purchasing more in various colors.

The fabric of these shorts is super lightweight, soft, and just a little stretchy. It's great at helping you stay dry even during intense training. The shorts are a classic cut, making them an easy staple of your active wear. There are deep pockets which make these shorts good for stepping out of the gym, too. My husband likes how comfortable they are (thanks to the stretch in the fabric) and that they have a drawstring to perfect the fit around the waist. He's 6 feet tall and the inseam of these shorts hits on his mid to lower thigh. There is a zippered pocket on the back that is a safe spot for a key/ID when you're active outside. They're a really comfy, versatile pair of shorts.

I bought the shorts for the Obsidian color. I have many pairs of Nike Dri-FIT 7" shorts and they all have a fairly consistent fit. However, this short is cut differently; the cut is fuller and the length is longer. I like the fabric, but the overall construction quality is not as good as my previous Nike Dri-FIT purchases. Nike should offer more navy blue or dark blue shorts and shirts that can be paired easily.

These shorts have so many great features. The fabric is light and breathable (and feels nice), and the navy is a nice shade. Although they're a little shorter than my usual style, they hit at a good place. They're easy to move in whether running, squatting, or just hanging around. They also look really nice. They could almost even be worn as cargo shorts if you wanted. I really like that there are plenty of pockets, and the zippered pocket on the rear is clutch.The only thing I would consider changing is the width of the leg. The shorts were a little more ballooned than I prefer.Overall, these shorts are high quality, comfortable, and a good fit.

The Nike Shorts are lightweight which is nice when running to not feel bogged down. The material is durable and easy to wipe which is helpful when having young kids with messy hands or lots of sweat. I didn’t feel like the shorts were covered in sweat when i was done running which is a major plus. The cut of the leg was not too wide it was just ride for a more athletic leg. I loved the sturdiness of the pockets and the zipper pocket. My only complaint is the draw string only tightens the front of the shorts and not the back so someone with a small waist but a larger bum may have trouble getting a secure fit.

I was looking to purchase additional colors of the Nike Unlimited shorts, but was not very excited about the overall neutral collection available through Nike currently. Not only did I find colors I liked at Dick's, but they were also on sale. Win, win! These shorts are high quality, great fit, an very comforable.

Fantastic shorts that move well with all types of full body workouts! The material is light and breathable. Inner waistband is very nice, comfortable and doesn’t allow the waist string to dig in during movement. The color is really nice and works well for this type of fabric.Most disappointing aspect is the front bunching. Front material of pocket is too long causing bunching in the front. Makes me feel a bit like a mini kangaroo without my baby. Also the seams of the pockets cause a harsh fold that travels to the back of the short along the top of the butt. Really the only thing I would change about the shorts would be to slightly tighten them up and make them more low profile to keep the fabric a bit closer to the body. I was excited to try on these Nike DF Unlimited shorts. Putting them on, the waistband is comfortable and sat well with no slip. They feel light with good movement, and the pockets are accessible to use! The length fits well. The material of the pants is light, but does not have the plastic swish noise that can be annoying. Given the thin fabric, they have an extra stitched piece of fabric in the front of the shorts for men to feel more comfortable with coverage. The one main critique is that the cut of the shorts comes out wide. This makes the overall look of the shorts a little parachuted which isn’t ideal.
