Back to the golden days of durable running shoe
In an time where running shoes are becoming more lightweight, fragile, and specialized, the Nike Air Winflo 10 comes as a breath of fresh air to relieve the discerning buyer. The front of the shoe, right beneath the palm of the foot (i.e., the metatarsals), is a hard material that gives the wearer the exact amount of feel and support needed when changing directions, walking, or doing anything other than running at a constant pace in a straight line. This is an aspect that is lost on most running shoes today that offer way too much cushioning - virtually eliminating the runner's ability to move laterally with any vigor or intent. The Winflo 10 offers great arch support and will be a delight for any of my flat-footed friends that plan to buy this shoe. I personally don't suffer flat-footedness but could instantly feel the support the Winflo 10 offers. Finally, the rear section of the shoe offers the same level of comfort and support you'd expect from a modern Nike running shoe. It is supremely well-cushioned and will support the runner for many, many miles. I personally don't have the stamina to properly test the limits of the Winflo 10's running comfort; this shoe will undoubtedly outlast me. The one thing that is NOT aching after a run in the Air Winflo 10 is my feet (especially my heels)!... Show more

Comfortable and Stylish
These Nike Winflo’s are so comfortable. When you first put them on, it’s like your feet literally melt into them.I am fairly active but not a runner and sometimes I find that running shoes are not very comfortable when using them just for walking. However, I’ve been wearing these shoes every day when I get home from work to go on a walk and the rest of the night and I don’t want to take them off.I have the all black ones and they are very stylish. I normally wear them with joggers since it’s been so cold in California but I will be wearing them with basketball shorts when it warms up and I think they’ll even look great with jeans.I got these in my usual size 11, and they fit perfectly so I would say they are true to size. Nikes are typically more narrow in my opinion so they have a more snug feel to me than Adidas or Reeboks which I prefer. In terms of support, these are a 10. They have full arch support and have high shock absorbency. These would be great for playing sports in, especially basketball so I’m very much looking forward to the warm Spring days ahead for some games with friends.Overall, I really love these shoes and would recommend to anyone looking for comfortable, stylish and versatile trainers.... Good, comfy shoe
Fit and feel - after wearing these shoes for a few walks and some casual wear, I’d say that these fit a bit on the snug side. The upper is mesh, so they aren’t restrictive and have a bit of stretch/give to them. I have a pretty neutral foot, not narrow or wide, and these seemed to fit just fine overall, but a bit short in the toe area.Design - overall the design is very sleek and low profile. The foam in the heel is a bit thicker than it is in the midfoot and forefoot to add some extra cushion in that area. The mesh upper is nice and breathable and allows the foot to move freely. The tongue is connected in a bootie-like construction which helps keep the tongue from slipping from side to side and that’s a plus in my opinion. The heel on the upper is more structured ... The heel on the upper is more structured than the mesh in the forefoot to add more stability in the heel. My foot feels nice and secure in these shoes. Overall these feel well put together and like they’ll hold up nicely.Comfort - these Nike Air Winflo 10s are quite comfy right out of the box! The foam used on the midsole is nice and cushy and offers a comfortable ride with each step. While wearing these casually I forgot there were even shoes on my feet and that’s always good in my opinion. While using them for walking exercises I didn’t experience any discomfort which is also a plus! You won’t be disappointed with the cushion/comfort of these shoes.Pros/cons - overall I’d say the only con I ran into is the length of the shoes. They seem to run a tad smaller than the other Nikes I have in the same size. That being said, they’re not too tight/small, they’re just more snug than I’m used to. The overall design, cushion, and how well built these feel make me a fan of this shoe! I would definitely recommend these for casual/low impact wear. I don’t think you’ll be disappointed!... Great Everyday Trainer
I'm an avid runner who has run countless races ranging from 5k to full marathon and have had the opportunity to run in many different sneakers across the Nike Running assortment. This was my first time running in the Nike Winflo model, I've never tried or tested any previous versions of this shoe, and my initial thoughts are that they are a great choice for your daily running needs that can serve a variety of purposes. If I had to compare them to one shoe I would say that these feel closest to the Nike Pegasus minus the snappy responsiveness. I don't know if I would recommend these shoes for any speed/tempo workouts as I do find them to be a bit too plush with a more cushioned midsole so you don't really get that quicker toe-off transition. If you're using for slower recovery runs in the mid-range distance this is a solid option for you. If you're running anything past the 10 mile distance, I do think you'll begin to feel less responsiveness from the shoe due to the midsole cushioning. Not much negative to say about the upper as I find them to be extremely breathable with optimum ventilation and I did find the heel lockdown to be better than I had expected. Overall, I think this is an exceptional option for those looking for a comfortable everyday trainer at an affordable price. You'll be able to log significant miles on these and they should stand the test of time.... Show more

Jack of all trades
The product description for these is spot on. These shoes are a true Jack of all trades master of none. For daily wear, the comfort is fantastic. I often found myself forgetting to take them off after a walk or workout because they were simply pleasurable to walk around in.For logging miles walking around a city, these are a relatively inexpensive option for all day comfort. The looks are pretty neutral allowing them to work as a workout shoe or daily wearer. I never once had a concern about build quality as the knit upper felt very resilient, but also flexible and easy to move it. While soft and supple, the shoe construction still afforded a high level of support. I wouldn’t necessarily trust these too much on differing terrain but on a routine run they are ... I wouldn’t necessarily trust these too much on differing terrain but on a routine run they are great.Logging long runs would be difficult due to the softness of the sole. I found on runs longer than a mile I wouldn’t gain any bounce and they would start to soften. Again this is great for new runners or those committed to shorter runs. When logging longer miles I would lean towards other, more sophisticated shoes meant for the task. These are a great choice for a shorter distance running or newbies but I wouldn’t recommend them for sprinting or long runs due to the neutral spongy soleOverall, I enjoy wearing these shoes in the gym and for walks, as well as daily wear. They feel durable to last a long time without compromising comfort.... Show more

Lightweight, comfortable exterior but limited arch support
I have worn these shoes several times in different environments - casually throughout the house, to run errands, long walks with my dog, etc. I have enjoyed how the shoes are light and easy to put on. They breathe very well so my feet never get too warm. The structure of the shoe is flexible to my foot so it feels almost like a sock that is snug to my foot. The primary issue that I have had with the shoes relates to arch support from the insole. During the periods of time where I have worn the shoes for long periods of time or walked extensively, my feet have started to ache and it feels like there is a lack of support for my feet. I have not experienced this from any other Nike running shoes before so the issue seems specific to this particular shoe for me. I have ... I have not experienced this from any other Nike running shoes before so the issue seems specific to this particular shoe for me. I have also noticed that the traction on the shoe is challenged by slick surfaces and I have not felt entirely comfortable when walking during or after any of the recent spring rain storms I have experienced in my area. Overall I like the shoe but for these two issues I have noticed but plan on continuing to wear them to see if my foot acclimates or if the traction improves over time and just a result of the shoes being newer. From a style standpoint, the shoes are somewhat vanilla (especially in the all black version that I have been trialing) but I do not see that as an impediment to wearing them. The functionality of them is ultimately what matters most to me and they perform relatively well with the exception of the two aforementioned items.... Show more

The Nike Air Winflo 10 now tops the list of the most comfortable shoes to ever grace my feet, replacing the Nike Air Max 90 and Nike Huarache. The heel support feels unbelievable, like stepping on a cloud, the breathability adds to this tantalizing heavenly sensation. The breathability is so much in fact that the cold Chicago spring season wind made my feet cold and had me return to my old go to shoes. At the time I wasn’t running do, I was standing in the bitter wind watching a visual presentation at truck driving school. At the same time, being able to quickly and easily secure them tightly on my feet to take on a vigorous run. It's remarkable to me that my feet can feel so free yet secure with these shoes. They provide great traction to really grip the ground beneath me. If all of this comfort and convenience aren’t enough to make me smile while lacing the Nike Air Winflo 10, maybe the stamped smiley faces on the top of the tongue or the one in the insole will. All positive vibes with the Nike Air Winflo 10 as the back of the heel tab has a symbol to remind you that they're made from all sustainable materials. All in all, great shoes. I have them in all black, which helps keep them looking clean. I look forward to going on future runs as the weather permits it and enjoying the wonderful world in confidence, knowing I have the latest innovation in running technology brought to me by Nike.... The most comfortable Nike shoe ever worn
I got these shoes for my husband who is 6' and 175lbs. He boxes 5 times a week, lifts weights 5 times a week, and runs an average of at least 15 miles per month. He is athletically in shape. He has owned many athletic shoes in his lifetime and he said these were by far the most cushiony sneakers he has ever worn. I tried them on as well (even though they weren't my size) and I could immediately feel what he was referring to. There is an extra cushion/springiness in the bottom that feels amazing! The overall fit was as expected and was good for a running shoe with no extra room for movement. These could be worn all day if needed and your feet would not hurt afterward like many other shoes. They are definitely athletic sneakers though, so not the best style to be worn ... I got him the all-black pair, and they just weren't his style. He would prefer a white sole on the bottom or some other color. I personally think the all-black looks nice and would be a great comfortable choice for those in the restaurant industry that need to be on their feet all day and wear traditional all-black footwear.... Ultra comfortable running shoes that last for miles
I have tried tons and tons of running shoes and these are definitely one of the best. As soon as you put them on, you can feel the cushion and the shoes hug your feet just right. There's plenty of room in the toe box so even if you have big feet, they don't feel crammed.Whether you wear them with no-show socks or crew socks, there is no awkward rubbing in the heel. I used these to walk or run several miles daily over a few weeks and they were comfortable every step of the way. My pair was all black, but they still even look stylish enough that I could wear them out and about and not feel out of place. The only small thing I would consider changing for this shoe is adding a heel tab in the back to help pull on the shoe. It's definitely not necessary for such an amazing shoe.Overall, these are some of the best running shoes I've ever had and as soon as these wear out, I'll be getting some more. Fortunately that won't be for a while because these shoes still feel the same as the day I got them.... Show more
