The Nike Air Winflo 10 is an ultra lightweight and cushioned running shoe. I have worn them walking and running errands, but will not be using them for trail or gym running. This shoe makes a fantastic sneaker choice if you’re looking for a lightweight, comfy, go to sneaker, and would be a fine running shoe for those like like more lightweight runners. I could wear them all day long as casual sneakers.Overall, the only thing I would change about this shoe is the build of the inner midsole. If there was more structure or a support on the inside of the heel I would be able to wear them running too.

In an time where running shoes are becoming more lightweight, fragile, and specialized, the Nike Air Winflo 10 comes as a breath of fresh air to relieve the discerning buyer. The front of the shoe, right beneath the palm of the foot (i.e., the metatarsals), is a hard material that gives the wearer the exact amount of feel and support needed when changing directions, walking, or doing anything other than running at a constant pace in a straight line. This is an aspect that is lost on most running shoes today that offer way too much cushioning - virtually eliminating the runner's ability to move laterally with any vigor or intent. The Winflo 10 offers great arch support and will be a delight for any of my flat-footed friends that plan to buy this shoe. I personally don't suffer flat-footedness but could instantly feel the support the Winflo 10 offers. Finally, the rear section of the shoe offers the same level of comfort and support you'd expect from a modern Nike running shoe. It is supremely well-cushioned and will support the runner for many, many miles. I personally don't have the stamina to properly test the limits of the Winflo 10's running comfort; this shoe will undoubtedly outlast me. The one thing that is NOT aching after a run in the Air Winflo 10 is my feet (especially my heels)!

I've been wearing the Winflo 10 for a couple weeks now and there are a lot of positives. I was first impressed by fit of the shoe. The shoe's eyelets protrude slightly allowing for the upper of the shoe to conform and fit any foot shape. The toebox of the shoe was wide enough that I didn't feel constricted, especially at the 5th metatarsal (pinky toe area). There is just enough cushion surrounding the heel to help with foot lockdown. The upper is made up of very breathable mesh. I never felt my foot overheating even after a more strenuous workout. The mesh doesn't feel like it's very durable. However I am yet to notice any significant wear and tear through a couple weeks of use.Cushioning is another major highlight of the Winflo 10. I feel like there are air units placed throughout the midsole of the shoe. There heel area has a great amount of Nike Cushlon foam which gives the shoe a bouncy feel. This setup allows for a slight heel drop which would alleviate strain on one's calf. One could wear these all day if you work in a setting where you're always on your feet.Traction pattern is a pretty standard waffle pattern on the medial side and horizontal line pattern on the lateral side. It works perfectly, noticeable solid traction even when moving side to side.Overall a nice everyday runner that would be great in short to mild distances of running. This could be a good option for one who wants an aesthetically pleasing runner that one could wear all day at work.

Fit and feel - after wearing these shoes for a few walks and some casual wear, I’d say that these fit a bit on the snug side. The upper is mesh, so they aren’t restrictive and have a bit of stretch/give to them. I have a pretty neutral foot, not narrow or wide, and these seemed to fit just fine overall, but a bit short in the toe area.Design - overall the design is very sleek and low profile. The foam in the heel is a bit thicker than it is in the midfoot and forefoot to add some extra cushion in that area. The mesh upper is nice and breathable and allows the foot to move freely. The tongue is connected in a bootie-like construction which helps keep the tongue from slipping from side to side and that’s a plus in my opinion. The heel on the upper is more structured than the mesh in the forefoot to add more stability in the heel. My foot feels nice and secure in these shoes. Overall these feel well put together and like they’ll hold up nicely.Comfort - these Nike Air Winflo 10s are quite comfy right out of the box! The foam used on the midsole is nice and cushy and offers a comfortable ride with each step. While wearing these casually I forgot there were even shoes on my feet and that’s always good in my opinion. While using them for walking exercises I didn’t experience any discomfort which is also a plus! You won’t be disappointed with the cushion/comfort of these shoes.Pros/cons - overall I’d say the only con I ran into is the length of the shoes. They seem to run a tad smaller than the other Nikes I have in the same size. That being said, they’re not too tight/small, they’re just more snug than I’m used to. The overall design, cushion, and how well built these feel make me a fan of this shoe! I would definitely recommend these for casual/low impact wear. I don’t think you’ll be disappointed!
I'm an avid runner who has run countless races ranging from 5k to full marathon and have had the opportunity to run in many different sneakers across the Nike Running assortment. This was my first time running in the Nike Winflo model, I've never tried or tested any previous versions of this shoe, and my initial thoughts are that they are a great choice for your daily running needs that can serve a variety of purposes. If I had to compare them to one shoe I would say that these feel closest to the Nike Pegasus minus the snappy responsiveness. I don't know if I would recommend these shoes for any speed/tempo workouts as I do find them to be a bit too plush with a more cushioned midsole so you don't really get that quicker toe-off transition. If you're using for slower recovery runs in the mid-range distance this is a solid option for you. If you're running anything past the 10 mile distance, I do think you'll begin to feel less responsiveness from the shoe due to the midsole cushioning. Not much negative to say about the upper as I find them to be extremely breathable with optimum ventilation and I did find the heel lockdown to be better than I had expected. Overall, I think this is an exceptional option for those looking for a comfortable everyday trainer at an affordable price. You'll be able to log significant miles on these and they should stand the test of time.
The product description for these is spot on. These shoes are a true Jack of all trades master of none. For daily wear, the comfort is fantastic. I often found myself forgetting to take them off after a walk or workout because they were simply pleasurable to walk around in.For logging miles walking around a city, these are a relatively inexpensive option for all day comfort. The looks are pretty neutral allowing them to work as a workout shoe or daily wearer. I never once had a concern about build quality as the knit upper felt very resilient, but also flexible and easy to move it. While soft and supple, the shoe construction still afforded a high level of support. While soft and supple, the shoe construction still afforded a high level of support. I wouldn’t necessarily trust these too much on differing terrain but on a routine run they are great.Logging long runs would be difficult due to the softness of the sole. I found on runs longer than a mile I wouldn’t gain any bounce and they would start to soften. Again this is great for new runners or those committed to shorter runs. When logging longer miles I would lean towards other, more sophisticated shoes meant for the task. These are a great choice for a shorter distance running or newbies but I wouldn’t recommend them for sprinting or long runs due to the neutral spongy soleOverall, I enjoy wearing these shoes in the gym and for walks, as well as daily wear. They feel durable to last a long time without compromising comfort.
I have worn these shoes several times in different environments - casually throughout the house, to run errands, long walks with my dog, etc. I have enjoyed how the shoes are light and easy to put on. They breathe very well so my feet never get too warm. The structure of the shoe is flexible to my foot so it feels almost like a sock that is snug to my foot. The primary issue that I have had with the shoes relates to arch support from the insole. During the periods of time where I have worn the shoes for long periods of time or walked extensively, my feet have started to ache and it feels like there is a lack of support for my feet. I have not experienced this from any other Nike running shoes before so the issue seems specific to this particular shoe for me. I have not experienced this from any other Nike running shoes before so the issue seems specific to this particular shoe for me. I have also noticed that the traction on the shoe is challenged by slick surfaces and I have not felt entirely comfortable when walking during or after any of the recent spring rain storms I have experienced in my area. Overall I like the shoe but for these two issues I have noticed but plan on continuing to wear them to see if my foot acclimates or if the traction improves over time and just a result of the shoes being newer. From a style standpoint, the shoes are somewhat vanilla (especially in the all black version that I have been trialing) but I do not see that as an impediment to wearing them. The functionality of them is ultimately what matters most to me and they perform relatively well with the exception of the two aforementioned items.
The Nike Air Winflo 10 now tops the list of the most comfortable shoes to ever grace my feet, replacing the Nike Air Max 90 and Nike Huarache. The heel support feels unbelievable, like stepping on a cloud, the breathability adds to this tantalizing heavenly sensation. The breathability is so much in fact that the cold Chicago spring season wind made my feet cold and had me return to my old go to shoes. At the time I wasn’t running do, I was standing in the bitter wind watching a visual presentation at truck driving school. At the same time, being able to quickly and easily secure them tightly on my feet to take on a vigorous run. It's remarkable to me that my feet can feel so free yet secure with these shoes. They provide great traction to really grip the ground beneath me. If all of this comfort and convenience aren’t enough to make me smile while lacing the Nike Air Winflo 10, maybe the stamped smiley faces on the top of the tongue or the one in the insole will. All positive vibes with the Nike Air Winflo 10 as the back of the heel tab has a symbol to remind you that they're made from all sustainable materials. All in all, great shoes. I have them in all black, which helps keep them looking clean. I look forward to going on future runs as the weather permits it and enjoying the wonderful world in confidence, knowing I have the latest innovation in running technology brought to me by Nike.
I bought the Winflow 8’s about a year or so ago and LOVED them, I wore them out! I bought the Winflow 10 and omg, after a month they started squeaking so bad. It was embarrassing! Nike replaced them, and sure enough, 1 month in on the new ones and they started squeaking again!! In the meantime I bought another pair for the gym and sure enough those started squeaking too!! Literally 3 pairs of Winflow10s all had the same issue. I thought it was just me, but now seeing reviews, I see soo many others having the same issue. Soooo sad because I love these shoes, they are way better and more comfortable than my Hookas and On Clouds. They are extremely comfortable. I hope they fixed the squeaking for the Winflow 11s. These shoes fit very comfortably - they did not feel tight nor loose. The inside soles of the shoes felt very comfortable and almost like I was walking on supportable comfortable cushions all day (8+ hours). I typically have to wear orthotics but realized that I was in zero pain without them when using these sneakers - more of an attestment to the supportive nature of the inner soles. The back of the shoe was the one complaint I had regarding comfort but was easily fixed (I described my issue in more detail below). I absolutely loved the color and style of the shoe - I love how it goes with most outfits and the color of the logo pop against the black color of the shoe. The white design bottom help give the shoe a cleaner look which is also another positive.I do realize I have one tiny complaint but it could also just be a very individual problem with the shoe. I realized I absolutely needed socks that covered the whole back of my foot - I couldn’t wear these sneakers with low cut socks because the shoe would rub the back of my foot and if I left the shoes on long enough would cause blisters. The easy fix was to be sure to have socks that covered the back of my foot/heel - so comfort or possibly athletic socks. In summary, my favorite part of this sneaker is the comfort of the inner sole and my least favorite part was the rubbing against the back of my foot when wearing low-cut socks (but again it was easily fixed back to comfort with athletic socks).
