Women's Road Running Shoes Bridge the gap between your weekend training run and race day in a durable design that can be deployed not just at the starting line of your favourite race but in the days and months after your conquest. It offers comfort and reliability but with a propulsive sensation that’ll help you feel fast and fresh. That kind of versatility is uncommon in the running arena. But who said you can’t have it all? More Bounce Newly implemented ZoomX foam in the midsole takes an already respected, trusted shoe to another performance level that wasn’t present in the Zoom Fly 4. The addition makes for a lighter, more responsive cushioning system. Take advantage of these all-purpose traits that help you run easier, faster and have more fun on your runs. Stability Where You Need It Both the forefoot and heel offer slightly wider bases for a stable platform, so you can tackle turns and long runs with confidence. Stay in Rhythm Full-length articulated plate delivers a propulsive sensation and a smooth transition at a variety of paces. The plate provides a sort of roll-forward feel that makes you want to take on the next step. The upper is made with lightweight mesh for a softer, more breathable feel that conforms to your foot. Dynamic lace-up fit and supportive containment in the midfoot wrap around your foot for a contoured and secure fit.

The Nike Zoom Fly 5 Shoe is different. It is a comfortable, elegant and safe product. Your solate protects you from rocks, holes and unevenness. However, what makes it special and the responsiveness of your board, which will make you "fly".

While I haven't purchased this shoe, it is among the most attractive and comfortable I've tried on. I come from the Alphafly Next% which I also love.

Could be much better

Runs larger; not cushioning nor springy; recycled zooms foam sank and does not rebound back before next stride; carbon fiber plate doesn’t help at all; the rubber outsole wears out too quickly and doesn’t grip on any pavement nor concrete sidewalks. The gaps among the foam peanuts ruins the performance. Foam peanuts move toward the gaps rather than return energy back to feet. It’s Very loud on every stride. Lack of arch supports (no support at all). Shoe leashes are not secure at all. Hoka Bondi performs much better (except heavier than ZoomFly 5)

Great for longer runs
1 May 2023

Lasted 250 miles so far and still feel great I’m a heavy footed runner and normally don’t get that much out of a shoe it’s on of my favorite shoes I’ve had very bouncy and responsive but definitely a bit heavy

The ZoomFly 5 has no place in a rotation. It is cumbersome and clunky, not what you want during tempo runs. The plate is useless, you feel it but there is no "pop" and makes the shoe even more uncomfortable. The ZoomX you're expecting is nonexistent. By using the scrap and a carrier foam all the benefits you've come to expect from ZoomX are gone. This upper is decent, I found it to be the best part of the shoe but that is not saying much. The lockdown was fine for me and it fits true to size with some room to spare in the forefoot. The midsole is where this shoe just falls apart. It is heavy lacks any road feel and doesn't give you the energy return like the real ZoomX. This shoe is nothing more than a marketing gimmick. Nike really needs to step it up! The latest updates to their running shoe lines have all been disappointing. From the Alpha fly to the Invincible run 3 all letdowns from the previous versions. Oh, I almost forgot the sole. The rubber pads are very soft and wear extremely fast the windowed portion of the shoe also sucks down and I can feel and hear it when walking on my hardwood floors. It creates a suction cup effect, which is the last thing you want when training. I really tried to love this shoe, but as I stated in the title it just doesn't fit anywhere. It isn't comfortable for long/ recovery runs, too heavy and cumbersome for a tempo shoe, and not good enough for a daily trainer. I just don't get what Nike was trying to accomplish with this update.

This is my 3rd pair of Zoom Fly 5, I love them, probably the best design from Nike.

Possibly the best plate propulsion runner?
26 November 2022

Absolutely love these shoes! I was a Zoom Fly 4 super fan but the soles on these sold me. The stiffer zoom mid sole is much more responsive and faster. I can just ride on the carbon (?) plate all day long enjoying the propulsion. It's almost effortless. Oh and the stack height, lovely! Excellent rubber bottom sole coverage for much durability. What I really miss is the upper from the ZF4. The uppers on these are stiff and very unforgiving, slightly narrow in the toe box and the tongue is not integrated to the top like it was on the ZF4s -- it shifts and moves all over the place. If you could combine these mid soles with the ZF4 upper, you've got a winner!

Very comfortable. True to fit. I would recommend these if like a good running shoe with style to match.

The shoe had bad or defective cushion
5 March 2023

The cushion on both shoes seems unstable. When I run or even walk the foot rolls inward. Also I get Achilles pain on my left foot every time I run on this shoe, seems like got an defective pair.
