Amazing comfort but stability issues. Lifestyle buyers think twice (See paragraph 4)
I purchased these shoes primarily for lifestyle use though some small morning runs as well. My feet typically hurt after being on them on the job all day, so having an ultra-cushioned shoe to be able to use around town is a must for me and these check that off with flying colors. From the first second you put your foot in this shoe it's liking dropping into a padded trampoline for your feet and is unlike anything you've really tried before. For reference, I've had these for two weeks, done some short runs, and general everyday use.Walking in these all day is no problem and actually encouraged me to get some extra exercise at the end of a work day when running really didn't feel like the best option. As for running, I don't think I had quite the same revolutionary ... For reference, I've had these for two weeks, done some short runs, and general everyday use.Walking in these all day is no problem and actually encouraged me to get some extra exercise at the end of a work day when running really didn't feel like the best option. As for running, I don't think I had quite the same revolutionary feel others did. A big selling point of the shoe is the ZoomX foam and the crazy amount of stack making it so comfortable. Running in a heel-strike form is where this shoe shines. Your initial impact is basically absorbed and as you rock forward there is a light spring in your step. I wouldn't call it 'bouncy" like others have, but I am fairly light so compressing the foam is harder for me. However, if you are a fore/midfoot striker (like me) much of that benefit from the extra stack height is negated. An additional side effect of the stack is some instability and some feeling of being too tall. The first few runs/walks it does feel almost like you are on stilts and need to relearn to walk/run which can be a bit awkward. Even after getting used to it, you notice you can't quite turn as fast or bank in these shoes without some side slippage. As a result of this instability, Nike has to have an overbuilt upper that doesn't breath quite as well as some of their other shoes and a massive base which you stand on.This is seen clearly is how much the midsole extends back as can be seen in the product photos. If you are wearing these as an everyday shoe for pain or purely for comfort that extension feels amazing, but it does make it difficult to drive in. If you pivot with your foot between pedals, this surface has zero outsole as the midsole bubbles out and causes excessive wear on your driving shoe. Of course Nike doesn't expect these to be used as a lifestyle shoe, so it's not their fault, but if you are the type of person who enjoys the comfort provided by running shoes for everyday use, be aware that how much you drive might affect the lifespan of the shoes. For me, I will probably be returning them for that reason. I don't run enough to justify such a high cost on the shoe, and wearing down the driving shoe as a lifestyle pair doesn't sit right with me. However, if you are a heel-strike runner putting in long miles, like others have said this is probably an endgame option for you.... Show more

Cloud Walking
These shoes are fantastic. I’d recommend them to anyone for all-day wear or running.Things I Loved:Cushion cushion cushion. Wow. The amount of padding in the soles of these took so much stress off my knees and feet. I loved just walking around in them, and they do add a little onto your height (not complaining as an average height guy).Laces worked great, the colors are sleek and they held up well after several long runs. They were easy to clean and care for.The fit was spot on. I’ve had difficulty with other Nike’s in the past being a half size too big or small. Not so here, they were spot on.Things I didn’t love:The shoes do have a propensity to be squeakier because of all that cushion. I felt like I could hear the “whoosh” of air moving out from the sole with every step because there is such a large, cushioned base. The design of the heel portion is just…bulky. I understand that it gives that wonderful support, but I just wish the heel portion was just a little slimmer. The shoes look massively wide from the back.Ankle support left something to be desired, felt like the laces needed to extend a little farther back or up the shoe.Overall, none of the things I didn’t love would keep me from buying 10 more pairs of these things. I’m a bedside nurse, and an extra pair for wearing to work would really ease my feet at the end my long shifts. I want to tell everyone how great these are!... Show more

Instant Comfort
These shoes tried on like a dream. They have so much cushion and spring to them and are lightweight. The thick heel does look a bit funny extending from the back so much but it is worth the comfort and bounce received. It is a simple shoe when it comes to looks, but offers a day full of wear without any aches or pain. The toes have lots of room with the wider front which is nice if you have wide feet and/or prefer wiggle room for toes. The heel hugs rather tight which initially felt too tight but offers a snug and stable support after break-in. A couple of critiques would be that the shoe laces could be longer - for someone with wider feet, making a tight tie is a little difficult. The shoes are also quite loud while walking & running on pavement but that is rather ... MoreThese shoes tried on like a dream. They have so much cushion and spring to them and are lightweight. Can’t speak to durability or longevity of the shoes over time since they have only been worn a short time. Though, the first thought with trying on this shoe was “it’s like walking on a cloud”!... Nike Zoom Invincible Run Fk 2
Overall, I find these Nike Zoom Invincible Run FK 2 shoes to be a pretty solid pair of running shoes. They are light weight and very stable. They have an exceptional amount of bounce that propels you into the next stride. Honestly, it feels a bit like walking around on a trampoline! The fabric seems pretty durable and mine didn't have any construction issues. I have pretty wide feet so these were snug in on me. The fabric has a bit of stretch that helped quite a bit and I imagine that anyone without hobbit feet like mine wouldn't have any issues. I am hoping they will break in and stretch to fit my feet a bit more over time. Stylistically, I like the color and texture of the fabric. Nike Zoom Invincible Run Fk 2: for Dads on the Go
I’ve got a lot of experience with a good walking shoe. From the basic classic walking shoes, all the way up to high end performance shoes, the walking shoe is very much this dad’s “daily driver”. That is, until the first time I slipped on these new Nike Zoom Invincible Run Fk 2. The snug comfort of the fit, specifically the structural support in the rear of the foot, lends to a pillow-soft standing and walking feel without some of the soft-side pains that develop in other models. The subtle bounce that is yielded in stride combined with this structure gives an impression of a build quality unique to this shoe. The only nitpick that could be levied (your mileage may vary) is what I will call the “ride height” of these shoes. They are a little taller in the rear, so ... The only nitpick that could be levied (your mileage may vary) is what I will call the “ride height” of these shoes. They are a little taller in the rear, so if you are coming from a lower profile walking shoe they could take a minor adjustment to adapt to, particularly on an incline or stairs. The overall look of this shoe is interesting. I would say it comes across exactly like what it might be like to wear from an aesthetic point of view. It isn’t a high fashion shoe, nor is it trying to be. They are certainly fetching, as I’ve gotten a lot of questions about them from family and coworkers, but mostly through the lens of “wow those look so comfortable”. As mentioned in the fit/feel section, the design of the shoe seems entirely dedicated to a comfortable wearing and walking experience. This is THE MOST comfortable shoe I have ever worn for long durations. I have some old favorites of footwear past, some of which I depended on for years, but nothing gives me the pillow-soft stride as well as the desired support for someone slightly heavier like myself. This is perhaps the strongest characteristic of this shoe, and why they are my new chosen daily drivers.Without question, the comfort in stride of this shoe is its strongest identifier. If you are one who enjoys a high-padding, high-support walking shoe that feels purposeful, this pair is hard to match. The height adjustment to some other comfort walkers is initially noticeable, but considering the ease of use and foot happiness after a long day of walking, I would say that one niggle is quite justified indeed.... padded soft perfect
I absolutely LOVE these shoes! Ive had the first version of the Invincible Run for about 6 months and bought version 2. The only difference seems to be a more relaxed lacing system and more padding on the outer ankle. Otherwise they kept all there is to love about this shoe. This shoe is perfect for anyone who walks or stands for 8 hours or more. I use them for that purpose and they are wonderful. It's like my feet are in clouds. I wear an additional insert for extra support (Heel that pain).A lot of my co workers wear Hoka, but Nike's fit me the best and the Invincible foam is unlike *anything* out there. I have Plantar Fasciitis (thus the extra support). I can tell you these shoes are the squishiest on the market. Absolutely worth it. I hope they don't change the ... Running on Air
These shoes fit true to size and are extremely comfortable. The large heel looks a tad funny when you first open the box but you certainly feel the extra cushion once you step into them. Also for added support and comfort is additional padding at the ankles. One thing to keep in mind with the large heel is that if you wear the shoe while driving to your destination that it will change the position of your foot and may cause driving to feel weird as well. Once you get there and get running you’ll be glad you have them on though! They are berry comfortable and supportive whether your going for a long run or going for a walk with the family. Super cushiony with bounce
This is my first pair of running shoes and I can understand now the need for such a shoe. I am not an avid runner however play many sports. I am a 10.5 and the shoe runs slightly big. The width is perfect around my mid foot however the toe area is slightly wide and has a thumbprint of space from the tip of the shoe. As soon as I put the shoes, I could feel the cushion all along my foot. When jogging, there was almost a bounce to the shoe every time I would step with pressure and it was almost like a spring. As I began running, this sensation was even more pronounced. If I were an avid runner, I would not want a different shoe based on how cushiony it felt when running. When running with sneakers or even basketball shoes, there is no similar cushiony feel like when ... MoreThis is my first pair of running shoes and I can understand now the need for such a shoe. When running with sneakers or even basketball shoes, there is no similar cushiony feel like when wearing this shoe. The collar had support to it and felt comfortable while running. The look of the shoe is quite sleek and the sole has heft to it which explains the padding or technology as to why it had "bounce" when running. Overall I would highly recommend this shoe, especially for avid runners. The shoe is extremely comfortable even for every day wear and walking though the price maybe high for just such use.... The Miracle Shoe For the Disabled not just for runners!!! Nike invincible run 2s
I have this shoe in white with white swooshes out lined in black and a light blue I am disabled I had reconstructive surgery on my right ankle and a rod and screws in also so now it does not bend at all. So I got to looking at this shoe and a few other brands. I have walked 10 miles a day now in these shoes due to the soft full length zoomx foam. The foam is super comfortable but not so unstable so I cant walk in them. Now it did take a few days getting use to it because it throws your balance off but it comes right back to normal in a day or so. before I found this shoe I was only able to walk 2.5 miles then I'd have to do 2.5 miles again in the last part of the day due to pain terrible pain in my feet, in other shoes not this comfortable. Now I can walk 10 miles non stop in this shoe with minimal pain when I am done. Nike really has a good thing here and I believe they could make a shoe line for people like me that's more affordable with full length zoomx foam. Also they need to get the word out about this shoe or make another model for folks like me with hurt feet there are plenty of us out there NIKE just looking for the right comfortable shoe but also affordable. People in my shape are probably on Disability and don't make much money per month to afford such a shoe, but thanks to people in my family who love me they made it possible to get this shoe for me and I love it so much I have sold a few of my old hunting air rifles to get the updated pair the Nike Invincible run 3s and I can't wait till they get here! they arrive on the 30th so ill post another review of that shoe soon as i get it broken in good....
