I don't run a lot of 5k's. Coming off a half marathon personal best I ran a personal best 10k and was going for the same in a 5k. The outsole material feels so soft I don't expect it to last. Took a picture, but I'm not sure if the wear will show.Post mortem, my feet are a little more sore than typical post race. Reasonable to expect given the reduced cushioning for the lighter weight. A fair trade.I will keep these shoes for 5k races and a couple of faster training runs leading up to them. Keeping the miles down. I don't think I would run a 10k in these, but maybe. Spectacularly light and surprisingly comfortable. If I was going to change one thing I'd make the cushioning very slightly firmer. I felt like maybe I was bottoming them out on race day.

These are marketed as racers, but at this price i bought them as a training shoe. I knew the flyknit weave is the best there is for keeping your feet cool. Not only that but the white colourway and simple design means these can be worn as a fashion shoe too. Perfect for having that one shoe for holiday.These are very comfy for my wider than average feet. These shoes are possibly my favorite shoe right now. Perfect for easy runs or speed runs, or even longer runs. Iāve taken them out on 5K-10K runs and even up to 10 miles a few times. 200 miles easy in my initial pair, but I could keep using them if I wanted to. I have 7 pair total. And Iām loving the track/AF/VF laces on these latest models. Theyāre fire, comfy & I use them to train & to just chill at home or work. V2 looks promising & different, but I donāt know if Iād rock the V2s as lifestyle.

First of all, you have to train a bit in your racing flats, so did an 8 mile, with 1 mile at 7 per and 1 mile at 5:15, trying to go under 31. The good: great upper, super breathable and roomy with good lock down and lace system. Great heel counter, once again great lock down and feel with the bumpers. Good cushion at the metatarsals for a good forefoot ride. The bad: already falling apart, I've only done 8 road miles on them and the traction is already wearing//wha?? Also, it seems that the magic foam I love so dearly seems to be creasing and is a bit pieced together. Really weird, I'm afraid a chunk is going to fall off mid run. But, right now I will not be reordering a pair of these. I'm bummed. Nike, your killing me!!!! So close!
I only used these shoes for road running 5K and 10K (i run 4 time a week) and i donāt use it as everyday shoes. I love the comfort and bouncy feel of the shoes unfortunately the quality is very poor. I purchased the shoes from my Nike app just last May 25, 2023. But now (July 23, 2023), with less than 2months use, the sole has already separated from the shoe. I already made a return/refund request due to poor quality. I hope Nike will improve the quality of this particular shoe model because itās great for running 5k/10k.
TL:DR -->. this shoe feels very similar to the last iteration of the Zoom Elite 9. Light and flexible, pretty soft underfoot with good return. If you are 175lbs+ you may feel some bottoming-out sensation running downhill or if you are a heel-striker. Definitely best for an efficient runner with a mid-foot strike. Very flexible throughout the foot, so you don't get the same rockered rolling push-off like you get in the carbon plate shoes like the Vaporfly or Alphafly. Maybe a hair soft for my liking on the track, but I've always preferred a firmer shoe on the track. In terms of fit, it locks down nice in the heel, has a nice wide toe-box, and the laces seem to grip. Set it and forget it. Marketed as a 5k/10k shoe, but I routinely wear them for distances of 10-15 miles without issue. I've even done some decent gravel and trail distances in them. I weigh 185 so putting decent energy into my pair. Nice and roomy toe box, super comfy. Not as plush and springy as, say, Vaporfly Next%s, of course, but the light weight and comfort more than make up for that and it's a shoe I tend to reach for first even when doing double digit miles. I have a couple hundred miles on them and they're still going strong. Top shoe is light as air and the mesh is so airy-allows for air to breathe through the shoe. Wouldnāt recommend in wet running for that reason. Comfy foam sole. Pretty flexible shoe. Big black check that helps pair with any black bottoms otherwise a refreshing white and seafoam sway
My favorite running shoes . I have pegasusu ,vaporfly and other brands but if it is race day those are my to go . I have wide feet and always have problems with sneakers .Those are blessing from Nike for my wide feet . They are airy . They are light .They are well balanced . They are made for running

After reading reviews online I was impressed with the 100% satisfaction mark these shoes were given. I must say when they came in I had to check to make sure shoes were actually in the box. These are so light it felt like an empty package when they came in. For something as light as these I could not get over how extremely comfortable and supportive they are. I'm not usually a Nike fan as they're shoes tend to be on the narrow side but these felt true to size. They felt like I was wearing nothing at all.
