Second run felt better. A little more broken in for me or the shoes. Just two 5k runs to check them out before the race.5k Race day, they felt great. Missed my personal best slightly, but it was 90% humidity so not the shoes fault. Honestly the shoes just disappeared on my feet. I was 24th out of 254 people. So I'm not the fastest guy out there. 8:35 miles.Post mortem, the shoes have a total of 10 miles on them. I can see wear on the outsole. Some of it kind of looks like galling. The outsole material feels so soft I don't expect it to last. Took a picture, but I'm not sure if the wear will show.Post mortem, my feet are a little more sore than typical post race. Reasonable to expect given the reduced cushioning for the lighter weight. A fair trade.I will keep these shoes for 5k races and a couple of faster training runs leading up to them. Keeping the miles down. I don't think I would run a 10k in these, but maybe. Spectacularly light and surprisingly comfortable. If I was going to change one thing I'd make the cushioning very slightly firmer. I felt like maybe I was bottoming them out on race day.

These are marketed as racers, but at this price i bought them as a training shoe. I knew the flyknit weave is the best there is for keeping your feet cool. Not only that but the white colourway and simple design means these can be worn as a fashion shoe too. Perfect for having that one shoe for holiday. These are very comfy for my wider than average feet. They feel very similar to my vapourfly shoesSports direct delivered the shoe promptly to my nearest store

These shoes are possibly my favorite shoe right now. Perfect for easy runs or speed runs, or even longer runs. I’ve taken them out on 5K-10K runs and even up to 10 miles a few times. 200 miles easy in my initial pair, but I could keep using them if I wanted to. I have 7 pair total. And I’m loving the track/AF/VF laces on these latest models. They’re fire, comfy & I use them to train & to just chill at home or work. V2 looks promising & different, but I don’t know if I’d rock the V2s as lifestyle.

Yes, have the Vaporflys and the Alphaflys. Just bought the Streakflys for an upcoming 10k in a couple of weeks. First of all, you have to train a bit in your racing flats, so did an 8 mile, with 1 mile at 7 per and 1 mile at 5:15, trying to go under 31. The good: great upper, super breathable and roomy with good lock down and lace system. Great heel counter, once again great lock down and feel with the bumpers. Good cushion at the metatarsals for a good forefoot ride. The bad: already falling apart, I've only done 8 road miles on them and the traction is already wearing//wha?? Also, it seems that the magic foam I love so dearly seems to be creasing and is a bit pieced together. Really weird, I'm afraid a chunk is going to fall off mid run. No rocker to bring you ... No rocker to bring you through your gait and you gotta work for it as it these things are flexible..really flexible. Don't feel the shank at all. I did hit my target times, but I hope they last another 8 miles or I'm out. I'm surprised people are putting these into their rotation. I'm 145, 6', and an efficient runner, they should not be falling apart at this phase. Boy, if Nike put even a 3/4 plate and a bit of rocker with more traction these would be the bomb. But, right now I will not be reordering a pair of these. I'm bummed. Nike, your killing me!!!! So close!
I only used these shoes for road running 5K and 10K (i run 4 time a week) and i don’t use it as everyday shoes. I love the comfort and bouncy feel of the shoes unfortunately the quality is very poor. I purchased the shoes from my Nike app just last May 25, 2023. But now (July 23, 2023), with less than 2months use, the sole has already separated from the shoe. I already made a return/refund request due to poor quality. I hope Nike will improve the quality of this particular shoe model because it’s great for running 5k/10k.
TL:DR -->. this shoe feels very similar to the last iteration of the Zoom Elite 9. Light and flexible, pretty soft underfoot with good return. If you are 175lbs+ you may feel some bottoming-out sensation running downhill or if you are a heel-striker. Definitely best for an efficient runner with a mid-foot strike. Very flexible throughout the foot, so you don't get the same rockered rolling push-off like you get in the carbon plate shoes like the Vaporfly or Alphafly. Maybe a hair soft for my liking on the track, but I've always preferred a firmer shoe on the track. In terms of fit, it locks down nice in the heel, has a nice wide toe-box, and the laces seem to grip. Set it and forget it. Seems like a great 5k shoe or half marathon show, although I'm not sure there is ... MoreTL:DR -->. this shoe feels very similar to the last iteration of the Zoom Elite 9. Great speed day training shoe and i'll keep rotating it in.
These are great. Super light for a running shoe these days in a world of maximalist trainers. My size 13 pair is just over 7oz per shoe. Marketed as a 5k/10k shoe, but I routinely wear them for distances of 10-15 miles without issue. I've even done some decent gravel and trail distances in them. I weigh 185 so putting decent energy into my pair. Nice and roomy toe box, super comfy. Not as plush and springy as, say, Vaporfly Next%s, of course, but the light weight and comfort more than make up for that and it's a shoe I tend to reach for first even when doing double digit miles. I have a couple hundred miles on them and they're still going strong. Wishing they'd come out with some more subdued colorways similar to the protos instead of the loud oranges and purples ... Best Nike shoe yet, and maybe best recent running shoe from any company.
Top shoe is light as air and the mesh is so airy-allows for air to breathe through the shoe. Wouldn’t recommend in wet running for that reason. Comfy foam sole. Pretty flexible shoe. Big black check that helps pair with any black bottoms otherwise a refreshing white and seafoam sway
I got back into shape a few years ago and have been using RR sports because of their superior customer service. I've found myself checking these out in store one day because another brand I usually wear wasn't in stock. After reading reviews online I was impressed with the 100% satisfaction mark these shoes were given. I must say when they came in I had to check to make sure shoes were actually in the box. These are so light it felt like an empty package when they came in. For something as light as these I could not get over how extremely comfortable and supportive they are. I'm not usually a Nike fan as they're shoes tend to be on the narrow side but these felt true to size. They felt like I was wearing nothing at all. After two weeks of running approximately 30 ... Nike's lightest racing shoe, the ZoomX Streakfly is all about the speed you need to take on the competition in a mile, 5k or 10k race. Low profile with sleek details, it feels like it disappears on your foot to help you better connect with the road on the way to your personal best. Low and Nimble A full-length ZoomX midsole provides the ultimate lightweight responsiveness. The foam stack heights are lower than the Vaporfly, saving weight and giving you a more aggressive feel. It results in a shoe so light, it disappears on your foot while still giving you the responsive protection of ZoomX foam, helping you reach your fastest pace throughout the turns and accelerations of any race. Supportive and Sleek An ultra-thin knit upper is light in weight while still providing the support you need for racing. Extra reinforcement in the forefoot keeps you secure. The updated, sleek lacing system is laterally offset with a notched tongue to help relieve pressure on the top of the foot. Grip Where It Counts Runner-informed data was used to create the outsole. It uses that information to place traction where you need it the most, with a pattern that connects to the pavement based on how your foot hits the ground. The result is solid grip from foot contact to toe-off, helping you stay ahead of the competition. Partially integrated tongue delivers a secure fit.
