So these are an interesting wear. Upon receiving them, I was a little skeptical. They are so light weight and the shape is unique. But let me say, they are absolutely awesome!
The comfort they provide is like walking/running on a cloud! I have had knee pain when running in other shoes. But not these. These are an excellent source of support and I
could run for miles without hesitation. I like to call them a piece of abstract perfection and my number 1 go to for my daily runs.

These are the best racing shoes I have ever tried. I avoided them for a while. I have a normal volume foot and know that Nike’s tend to be narrow. I also didn’t want to believe
the hype and was looking for alternatives. I tried the Saucony endorphin pro, new balance rc elite 2 and ASICS Metaspeed Sky. I put over 100 miles in all of those before
getting the vaporflys. The first time I wore the vaporflys I knew that they were special. I now have my 5k PR in these shoes and will be using them for all of my racing this year,
including 5ks, 10ks, half marathons, and I’ll be running the NYC marathon this year. They are light, bouncy and give you the sense of forward lean and propulsio... Show more

This shoe is very breathable with a see through mesh material - stiffer than flyknit material, but it provides some flexibility. The mesh material is not friendly for a run/jog in
rainy weather, however it is great for drier climates.I love the extra support & cushioning at the heel and achilles. The arch support and toe box room is average. I think the
width of the shoe is slightly more narrow.Overall, I love the small details of the zoomx vapor fly next%2. I love the crochet style of the laces and the aglets of each end is
unique (one checkered and one with a Nike logo).

They improve your efficiency by making it easier to hold your goal pace with less perceived effort. The NBs are comfortable but too soft and I can’t feel that same push forward. The sauconys give you a nice roll but are stiffer and not as propulsive. The ASICS come the closest to the vaporflys but still fall short. The hype is real. The vaporflys are king.... Show more

Fasssst

Gotta look fast to run fast, and these shoes look fasssst! The bright neon hits on the front and midsole shape makes you wanna go, and I couldn't wait to get them out of the box and hit the road running.Fit: Very lightweight and snug across the mid foot (fyi: these might be tight if you're a wide footer). The heel pocket is perfect for me and everything just feels good with almost no break in period. Midsole is crazy cushy and you can feel the support / power transfer of the carbon plate. The upper is lightweight and semi see through, so a great breezy summer running shoe, not so good for cold / wet weather. Laces tighten everything up and stay tied well.Function: My average run is 4-5k, 2-3 times per week. Love the way these feel under foot. The carbon plate technology is for real and I feel like it takes a couple seconds off my average pace. Maybe it's in my head, but whatever, it works! Midsole is soft and bouncy. I'm a mid foot / forefoot strike runner, and these are perfect for that. If you are a heel strike runner, the heel on these may be a bit soft for extended use. Also, the black rubber outsole only covers the mid / forefoot, so I worry about wear on the heel over time.Bottom Line: Love these and may have to get another pair. Unsure about durability as I just got them, but will keep an eye on how the lightweight upper and outsole wear in over time. Great shoe that just makes you want to head out for a run!... Show more

Game changer runner you will continue to want on your feet!

The Nike Zoomx Vaporfly Next% 2 is one of the more unique runners I have ever put on my feet. From the futuristic design of the shoe down to the smallest details including the braided laces, this shoe showcases how Nike truly took every single detail into account to make it the highest quality runner on the market. As a runner, one of my personal favorite pieces of this shoe is the raised back pointed heel of the midsole. The way the soft foam cushioned Zoomx midsole was created forces without hesitation for my foot to roll into a perfectly balanced stride through the ball of my foot step after step. It has made a huge difference for outdoor running specifically. The combination of the shoes light weight along with how it tends to fit like a glove provides a natural feel that anyone would appreciate. My one complaint about the shoe is more of a personal preference in appearance. While the soft knit woven material of the shoe provides a nice and breathable approach, I prefer a firmer material that does not bend and crinkle so much as I feel it takes away from the show stopper appearance of the shoe. Overall this is truly the best runner I have put on my feet to date. Nike has shined once again with this work of art and I do personally plan to have more of these on my feet in the future!... Running on clouds

The zoomx vaporfly next 2% has a very snug feel yet made with a flexible material that makes it comfortable for my wide feet and feels super light on my feet. The design is a very aerodynamic & futuristic look which makes the shoe very light & fast when I’m going for a run on the treadmil or even on pavement.I can wear this shoe all day long without any discomfort or pain on my feet. What I like most about this shoe is that it is extremely comfortable for running/working out it really takes out a lot of the tension on my knees I honestly feel faster & lighter on my feet when running. I know this shoe can be a bit pricey but you will not have any buyers remorse after making this smart purchase.... Show more

The Supercar of the Running shoe world!!

First off, I was extremely excited when these shoes arrived. I have been wanting to try them out since the Next % 1.I’ll get into the looks and design later but before I move on I have to say this shoe is sooooo cool looking!!!! Ahem!… now back to sounding professional. When I first saw and grabbed the shoe in hand I thought I was going to have a rough time breaking it in since I’m a wide footer and these Nike Zoomx Vaporfly Next% 2 Look narrow. Plus, the upper felt intimidatingly tough. However, I was pleasantly surprised that they are wide foot friendly in the toe box which allowed me to be able to splay my toes in a more natural manner than most shoes. With the upper material, the mix of thin and minimal, but super tough build gave a nice mix that lets it conform to my foot shape and also keep it contained. Now back to the looks and design. I mean… just look at it.! It’s like it wants to go fast. There’s no mistaking that the shoe screams performance with it’s looks. I got multiple compliments and made for a few conversation starters. From the sleekness of the shape to the slipstream contour, these Vaporfly remind me of ads for supercars where they have one in a wind tunnel to show that the design was shaped to cut through air and reduce drag. All to help you be faster. You know… SCIENCE!!Now, onto the good stuff. The first time I put them on kinda shocked me. I play basketball, like A LOT! So I know bouncy shoes and let me tell you the first steps left me looking down to check that I didn’t have my hoop shoes on. Cause these Vaporflys are bounce-alicious. Immediately I felt how the Zoomx returned every bit of energy I gave it. Step in comfort was impressive even through my custom orthotics. My first run was on a treadmill. For a little backstory, I have been recovering from a very severe ankle injury for a little over a year so running has been tricky at times. Also, being in the military I’m currently completing a cross country move for a change of commands so it had been a minute since I had run. From start to finish I had a dumbfounded look in my face because I could not believe how easy and fast I was running. Effortless and best of all painless. The shape of the forefoot automatically puts in a correct running position to propel you forward and the Zoomx together with the carbon fiber plate makes you leap with every step. The run felt so good that after doing 3 miles in the treadmill I went for a one mile extra credit on the road to compare and if anything the road felt even better.I’ve actually been using them as a daily shoe for the last couple of days since I’m unpacking from the move and they have kept my feet feeling pain free and energized.Pros and Cons:Pros: The cushioning hands down. Not that anything else was bad it’s just that the cushioning and tech are out of this world good.Cons: The stability on turns could be better. Now don’t get me wrong it was nothing egregious but, the stability in the corners is when you could feel where the Zoomx met its match. Not a big deal for most but in my case having multiple ankle injuries it can be unsettling when you feel instability, specially if you’re trying go for an aggressive run time.Overall I can not say enough good things about these Nike Zoomx Vaporfly Next% 2.... They’re mid.

I ran track & field competitively for 8 years and still run to this day nearly everyday. Have only been able to tolerate Nike running shoes both on and off the track. However these, these are very overrated. For styling, they get an A+For actual running, Nike has better options. Don’t fall for the hype. The forefoot padding is too minimal, prevents you from fully dorsiflexing. The long heel is pretty but also useless if you’re a mid or forefoot striker like me.To top it off, I like how they made it almost like a waffle racer, but you can tell it’s not gonna last for more than a few months without completely falling apart.Walking around it just feels tight and loose at the same time. Just sloppy. For reference, I’n 205 lb and 6 feet tall…size 11 but I can ... MoreI ran track & field competitively for 8 years and still run to this day nearly everyday. Top notch running shoes
30 November 2022
Some context about myself: I run ~10 to 40 miles a week and have been doing so for the last 3 years. I’ve done a few half marathons and a handful of 10k’s and 5k’s. By no means am I a super serious runner, but I enjoy the feeling after runs and the self-competition aspect. The first thing I noticed with these shoes is how light they are. Just picking them up out of the box, it almost doesn’t seem possible that they could be as light as they are and hold up. I’ve only ran in them ~5 times, so we’ll see how they hold up but so far so good.Once on your feet, you can immediately tell these running shoes are quite comfortable with high amount of padding in the soles. Once I started my first run in them, I immediately noticed that the shoes are unbelievably springy. Not even 100 meters into my first run in them, I could immediately notice a positive difference compared to other running shoes I’ve ran in. You just feel like you have more POP when your feet hit the ground and push off.One downside is the shoes are pretty narrow. Coupled with the sole padding, it can be a slight adjustment to get used to. I definitely wouldn’t lift weights or play other sports in them, but that’s to be expected since they’re running shoes. There’s also heal padding on the shoes that at first seemed a bit awkward, but I quickly got used to (and is frankly necessary). One sneaky thing I love about these shoes is the laces. It’s a small thing, but these shoelaces are unique, look kinda cool, and are the right length…fantastic laces.Without a doubt, these are the best running shoes I’ve ever owned or ran in. Shockingly light, super springy, and overall just make you feel fast on runs. They definitely seemed geared more towards racing shoes, but I feel like average and serious runners will love these shoes like I do. Top notch!... Show more

You Can Feel The Bounce
1 December 2022
The Nike Zoomx Vaporfly Next% 2 has to be one of the best running shoes out right now. I was a little skeptical of them because they do look a little different from running shoes I've used in the past, but I'm glad I tried them. The foam and cushioning underfoot is unmatched and you can actually feel the bounce and energy return on each step, I was thoroughly surprised with how comfortable they are. The design is very lightweight and very breathable as the upper is made from a structured mesh. They do run a bit narrow so you may want to order a half size up if you have a wider foot.
