Nike ZoomX Vaporfly Next% 2 White Yellow Strike (Women's)

These are the best race shoes. I have 3 pairs. Not really sure why people are using them for walking/fashion but to each their own. My OG pair have been so great on the road. I have hit about 60 miles with them using them for speed work and prepping for my second half marathon. They are feather lightweight - like the heaviness of a sock but super durable on gravel and pavement. The carbon fiber plate gives you just the right amount of propelling towards your next step and they are ridiculously fast. They position your foot just perfectly to help you with form. The Vaporfly has a fair amount of stack height but not too much where you feel off balance. They are easy to get in and out of and the mesh allows for great air flow keeping your feet cool and dry. I was excited when I got these as I’ve heard so many things about the first style when Kipchoge ran in them and I’ve been eager to try them ever sense. Straight out of the box they are very lightweight, you almost think that the box is empty. When you put them on, the back heel can be a tad bit tight to pull on, but after a few wears it gets easier to put on. They fit perfectly, but because of this and especially if you are opting to wear socks that tend to be a tad bit thicker, I’d recommend going up half a size. When I put on the shoe and stood up, it felt like I was walking on clouds. I liked the bounce feedback that the show gives when walking and running. My favorite parts of the shoe are the padded heel in the back (which may explain the tightness putting it on) and the reinforced plastic liner on the bottom towards the toe box. When running in this shoe, you can feel a huge difference compared to other shoes. It doesn’t feel heavy or like you’re being weighed down and makes your strides feel that much easier. I wasn’t able to run outside in these, but when I wore them walking around they do tend to feel a little bit slicker than most shoes, so I’d be cautious when running in rainy/slick conditions. I ran with these on the treadmill and it felt amazing. I didn’t feel any feedback going through my legs or on my knees, as it feels like your running on clouds. Double plus since you’re already on the treadmill. Overall a really good shoe, especially of running longer distances. I would just be careful running outdoors id the weather isn’t in your favor.

I absolutely love these shoes. The color is so bright and draws the attention of nearly everyone that passes. The one con is that they are very narrow. I've never considered my feet to be very wide but definitely had some issues getting my feet into these shoes. I had to loosen and remove the shoe strings from the top laces to get my feet in. Now, once my feet were in the shoe, it felt like I was walking on a cloud. The shoes are very springy and breathable and very easy to walk/jog around in. I have a bad back (herniated lower disc) and felt absolutely no discomfort in my lower back after wearing these for several days straight. It was cold while I was wearing these but I can easily see myself wearing these during the summer months due to the extreme breathability. ... MoreI absolutely love these shoes. These shoes have a very unique look as well as a bright color so people notice these and ask about them. The "wings" on the back are not my favorite but they did grow on me the more I wore them. I would probably remove them as I think they detract from the aesthetic pleasantness of the shoe but definitely am a fan of the the color and the nike swoosh being on the top of the shoe as opposed to the traditional side of the shoe.
