The ZoomX midsole of the ZoomX Vaporfly Next% has 15% more ZoomX foam than the midsole of the Vaporfly 4% Flyknit. The foam offers very responsive cushioning. Thanks to the effective shock absorption and a very high energy return you will run far more efficient than with most other competition running shoes. The Carbon Fiber plate of the Vaporfly 4% Flyknit has also been used in the construction of the ZoomX Vaporfly Next%. This plate propels you forward and adds to the shoes' high energy return. Although 15% more cushioning material has been added to the shoes, the shoes keep their lightweight. The outsole features deep grooves, especially at forefoot height. These deep grooves provide grip in different weather conditions, but also ensure traction when running through bends at high velocities.
