I have the 3s in 40, and now the new 7s in 30. A bit smaller and slightly different view overall but absolutely great. I often carry a camera with a 180-200 size lens and the binocs for sighting. Very nice highly recommend. B&H perfect as usual.

I own many pairs of binoculars from small up to very large astronomy binoculars. I've been on the lookout for a smaller high quality pair I can for bird watching and trekking. This past week I've been trying out different binoculars, buying, and spending some time viewing because I want to retire my heavier 10x42 pair.I wasn't expecting much from Nikon just because they are no longer king of the optical hill as they were in decades past, and depending on the model there are some average binos of theirs. But that certainly isn't the case with the 10x30 Prostaff, these are optically excellent and bright, as I compared these to about 4 other good brands in this weight class. Frankly I was very pleased. Depending on the price, I would say if it's the same or less then get the ProStaff. Especially if you like that bigger picture window view. If the Vortex are less (and you don't wear glasses), then go with the Vortex Diamondback 10x28.Really a nice set, lightweight, and plenty bright optics for daytime use. Recommended.

I love to bird watch, bear and moose watch, look at the Chugach mountain range and all the gorgeous sites nature holds. Very good image quality, crisp and clear. Very good quality for price, not overly weighty for mid sized lenses. Perfect for hikers. Can hold the binoculars for extended periods of time. Good eye relief. Do not need your eyeglasses for viewing. Lens covers do not stay on and no lens cloth are the only minuses. I highly endorse these binoculars for general uses. Rainproof!

I purchased these binoculars primarily for spotting wildlife during photography outings. They are very comfortable to hold and offer a wide clear field of view for extended non-fatiguing viewing. Optical quality is very good with size/weight convenient for easy carry in my photography bag.These are excellent all-around binoculars.
I bought these right before my trip to yellowstone, and was so happy with how compact and easy to use they were! I also like that they come with all the needed accessories in one package. The only problem that I had was that the lens covers that attach to the strap pop off really easily. I am pretty careful, and lost a lens cover pretty early on in the trip, and spent the rest of a trip paranoid about the other one popping off. For the investment I made in such great binoculars, I would hate for the lens to be scratched because of such a simple issue. REI understandably does not sell the accessories alone, so I had to get extra lens covers from Nikon. Bought these for my sister for a birthday gift, and I have also used them while hiking with her as well. She loves them. Detail is awesome for a compact binocular. Only downside is that lens caps fall off easily. There is an extension on the cap that is supposed to allow you yo attach the caps to the neck strap, but the caps slip off anyway, and we lost a cap on first use. Nikon is shipping new caps. I would suggest reinforcimg the closure on the cap extension with black duct or electrical tape so they don't slip off the strap. Otherwise this is a perfect compact binocular for hikers.
The compact size and waterproof feature have made these binoculars excellent for travel. During a trip to Costa Rica and Panama we took them down a river, out on a panga in the ocean and on the trails in both the jungle and the mountains. They never fogged, took very little room in that pack and were easy to focus.
Very happy with these binoculars. Wanted small travel binocs but so many of the travel binoc have poor optics. After a lot of research, we picked the Nikon Prostaff 7S. We are happy with the pick. Clear optics and bright view. Also lightweight and easily packable.
I bought the Nikon Prostaff 75 Nikon binoculars because I wanted something in between my 8x42 and 8x25 Nikon binoculars with good optics that weighed less than 16 oz and that were not too expensive. These fit the bill at 15 oz. plus a higher mag than my other binoculars.They are also waterproof. I bought them for a vacation to Europe and they have worked out well. When I bought them they were also on sale and I got a free harness (though I used just the regular neck strap because it packed better for vacation). Very pleased with them.
I bought these for my son in grade 1. They are light and easy to focus for smaller hands. However, I use them more than he does. They are super easy to focus and incredibly clear. I use them for bird watching and to look at things when we go to the beach.They're supposedly dust, water and shock resistant which is another great feature. They nice to look at and feel well balanced in your hands.One very minor complaint is that the lens covers are a bit hard to use. To make these perfect, Nikon could have incorporated a tripod mount underneath - or a way to mount them to one. But I guess that might have taken away from their lightness and compact design.Visions electronics was excellent. I ordered them at the height of the pandemic closure.
