Great binoculars for birding and wildlife viewing. Wish a little lighter for backpacking purposes. The lenses caps are great. Don’t give up, they are well designed to work with the strap. Wish a pack rather than a belt carrying option could be designed for case.

I was looking for a small binocular that would be easy to travel with. This pair fit the bill! Light, bright ant with a wide field of view, they are a great pair to throw into the travel bag.

I bought these recently and like them very much. The only bad thing are the cheap plastic Nikon eyepiece covers. They fit poorly and fall off easily. I ordered some better generic ones from online merchant that are rubber and fit better. Case is ok, neck strap is ok also
Nice condition although used, very good lenses, ideal for boating because lower power enables use in rough sea . Easy to carry because light and small, very good quality product
I could not get comfortable with seeing as well as I wanted to. I've used 8x32 and 10x32 binoculars before, I don't know if this is the difference. They are light enough and small enough to hike with around your neck . They stay clean and clear.
Good Points: So easy to use and you get so close. I use mine professionally for marine mammal rescue. Great for dolphins and elusive seals.Improvement Points: Case is not as good as the bins deserve
It took me longer to see how good these binculars are. I`d recommend them very much. They are smaller than most binoculars and just the right size. They are nothing like the compact bincoculars (that I don`t like) and you can pay too much for. I compared them recently to my older Zeiss 8 X 42 which are excellent and did not see a lot of difference in the quality full daylight or low light looking at deer; which was more impressive than I first thought. I bought them to have in my truck at all times to check our surf and wildlife on our ranch when I drive in and out of the ranch. I`m taking my first road trip since I retired to Colorado and think these will be ideal for my truck since the size is signficantly smaller but perfect not taking up much room.
Very nice binoculars. Mid-size and weight but still small and easy to handle. Great optics! Bright and sharp. Comes with a case, lens covers and a strap. The strap is kind of fiddly to rig up if you have fat fingers. Includes a general instruction sheet -- recommend you go to Nikon website and download the one specifically for this model. It's more helpful. Nice binocs!
I love these binoculars. They are the new upgrade to the prior Nikon Prostaff 7s model. Lightweight, waterproof, and crystal clear viewing. Compared to the 10x30 model, the 8x30 model has a much wider field of view and almost twice the light gathering capacity. We use them for birding and also for deer hunting. The greater light gathering capacity is very useful in the 30 minutes before sunrise and the 30 minutes after sunset.
