Definitely a couple grades up in longevity with the Nikon EN-EL15c over Nikon's previous battery offering. On my first outing in a Nikon Z7 (running the latest firmware), I got just over 1300 frames on a full charge. This contrasts with the 600 frames under similar shooting conditions with the previous generation 15b battery. Honestly, this exceeds my expectations. A very pleasant surprise for such a small investment. Don't know how this will hold up with other Nikon bodies or shooting styles but for me it's a real upgrade.

Having just ordered a Nikon D850 recently and always having had a spare battery for my D700 I decided that I should have a spare battery for the D850 as well...Although I've not had a chance to utilize it as of yet I'm sure it will deliver the needed power. Nikon makes some excellent products and I've always used genuine OEM batteries without any problems.

I have the EN-EL15 (Li-Ion 20), EN-EL15b, and a bunch of these new EN-EL15c batteries, and I use them across my DSLR and mirrorless bodies. I also have a bunch of the Nikon chargers, and I love how all of these are cross compatible. It's one less thing I need to worry about. I have been researching all of the available batteries for my camera and have found that some do not provide in-camera charging capabilities while others just do not last as long as the OEM Nikon batteries. The c version is simply awesome and, if your camera calls for it - BUY IT! Do not buy the off-brand for the off-chance that you will save $20. You will regret it when you accidentally leave your charging device at home and can only charge in-camera... It's worth every penny extra, kinda like paying for good gasoline in a sports car.
My Nikon z7ii can charge this battery in-camera or via the Nikon charger. Not all batteries that work in this camera can claim that capability. The EN-EL15a or b versions will not accept charges while in-camera. This battery can hold a charge like nobody's business, allowing me to shoot all day without changing it out in some circumstances. I will ONLY buy these Nikon-branded C versions for my Nikon Z7ii...
A friend of mine were on location to photograph a rare bird. My friend's camera battery was fully discharged! Fortunately we have the same camera and by sharing my battery we both got the photos we were after. That experience convinced me to always have a spare fully charged battery with me on photo outings.
You get what you pay for folks! Don't risk missing the shot because you are wasting timer swapping batteries at a game or when that bald eagle flies by. The difference is negligible when it comes to the cost of your lenses and camera body. Put great gas in your car and it will run great! Same goes for batteries!
This battery is very dependable, charge holding power house! I carry three of them per camera one for my D810, and the other one for my D850. But I rarely if ever need the extra ones because of the life this battery is so incredible. I use this with flash, in live mode, And sometimes on my D810 I use the onboard flash. This battery can handle the jobs!
I recently ordered two EN-EL15c rechargeable batteries for my Nikon cameras. Only third party batteries are available from my local camera stores, but B&H had the Nikon product in stock and got them to me in only three days. A battery to support my Nikon D-500. I am aware this has taken time to inform you; when my used 105 mm lens was delivered there was no notification of delivery.. This concerns me. There was information going around in my community of deliveries being grabbed of the porches. I had made arrangements with a neighbor to grab it. As I was leaving heard noise at the door . Went there and the lens was present. Saw the truck pull away. No label on the truck. So unable to identify who made the delivery. Leonard Pink
