The Nikon MB-N11 is an accessory that enables users to shoot vertically. The multi-power battery pack features a vertical shutter, AF-ON, sub-command, and Fn buttons. The MB-N11's 1.9x performance when used with two EN-EL 15c batteries is more than enough to provide you with consistent and reliable shooting. It's also hot-swappable, so you can easily swap batteries without stopping shooting or recording. The MB-N11 utilizes a USB-C connection to allow users to power the camera's batteries even while connected to an AC power supply or portable charger. It can also charge the batteries within its grip using the included USB charger. Two different EN-EL 15 series batteries power the two-pack of lithium-ion batteries. The most significant performance boost that you can get from using two batteries is with the additional EN-EL 15C batteries. You can also use this unit with any combination of batteries.

A must have, you?ll think that you won?t need it until you try it. The flow is so natural and convenient.

This battery grip is a nice way to add a vertical shutter release and control dials as well as almost doubling the battery life. It also provides more balance when shooting with longer lenses. To insert two batteries, you open the latch on the side and slide out a cartridge. The cartridge for adding the batteries is not as solid as I would have expected, but works well. My main complaint is the price, but what are you going to do?

Very comfortable to use and the ability to swap out a battery while still using the camera is genius! Nikon had the ability to do this on DSLR’s but this is a first for mirrorless as far as I’m aware

Good quality as usual with Nikon´s grips. You get controls on the grip unlike the N10 for the Z6/7. Takes two batteries and can charge them via usb-c, so when on travel there is no need to take the battery charger.A very good product and very useful for all those that find the Z series a little to small in the hands.Could be more solid when mounted.. like the D700 grip, it was one with the body.
Great addition to my Z7ii and Z6ii. It is well designed and does not add much weight. I use a battery pack on my D500 so it did not take much time for me to adjust to using one on my Z cameras.
This product was as advertise and far superior to the third party power pack I had purchased earlier.
Makes the whole package complete!
Build quality is very good. It attaches securely and feels like it is part of the camera.
This was the grip that should have come out with the Z6 and Z7?slick in that you can replace one battery in seconds since it?s hot swappable and you can charge batteries in the holder with the USB AC adapter that came with the camera?and you have the AF-On and Command wheels to make changes comfortable and on the fly when shooting vertical.
You may think you do not need one till you get one, then you'll never know how you managed without unless you only use the 50mm lens. a must for hand held telephote's.
