A very effective wash-in waterproofing solution.

Like all of the Nikwax products, TX Direct is easy to use to re-proof outdoor clothing. As we live in a soft water area, only 10 ml is required to proof two items of clothing. I use this after first washing my garments with Nikwax Tech Wash and it really does a great job. I purchased a 5 litre pack as this is the most economical way to purchase the product.

Excellent product

It is an excellent product for waterproofing polyester jackets. I have never used it before, but after washing my jacket it has lost the waterproofness. I purchased this and washed it with Nikwax in the washing machine and it is waterproof again. I am amazed with its effectiveness. I purchased the 5 l one as it is very cost effective. I highly recommend.

Good wash in waterproofing

Great big bottle for washing lots of waterproof jackets, shells, and rain gear. Would have already gone thru couple of the smaller bottles just for about 8 pieces of clothing. I'm about 1/5 way through the bottle after washing 8 articles once. Wore one of the washed jacket on a walk in a down pour just the other day and thewater beading stayed effective through the 30 min rain event. Will see how long this beading effect last. Great value for the product though. S&H was about 5 business days, faster than stated, and so was pleasantly surprised when it showed up early. Packaging was fine and product in good condition after unboxing.

Great product at a great price.

Best way to buy TX Direct is in bulk, especially at this price. Nikwax has always worked well for me, I think when people say it doesn't work they are not using enough, follow the instructions and it waterproofs very well.

Having treated a waterproof before a holiday I am unable to comment upon the effectiveness of the product as the holiday in Scotland was dry - No rain at all. I have ticked the middle star as the system does not allow me to send this unticked!

Great value Nikwax Tx wash-in in the 5l size. I use this wash-in for all my outdoor waterproof and water resistant clothing. Very effective at maintaining waterproof membranes and maintaining water beading.

Works well

I've used this product on many occasions. If you follow the instructions and use the recommended quantity per garment it works really well. It's easy to use, just add it to a machine wash. Needs to be used regularly for the best results.
