I am thoroughly enjoying using the Ninja Crispi Portable Cooking System. It is just as easy to set up and use as it seems. You just put what you want to cook in, set the time and heat setting, and your food is ready in no time. I really love all of the convenience this air fryer provides. It doesn’t need to preheat, so you save a bunch of time from other air fryers or using an oven. I also love that it instantly turns off if you take the power pod off to flip your food over. Since it has a 4 qt big batch container, you don’t even need to split your food in multiple batches like you sometimes do with air fryers with smaller baskets.I have found this machine to cook things really quickly, and loved the way it made my frozen fries super crispy, cooked beef strips beautifully, and roasted my broccoli to the perfect al dente bites. Even storage is convenient, as the bowls, crisper trays, and lids all nest together to store in a cupboard when not in use. I will say, I wish that the covers had corner tabs, because they can get really hot if you put the cover on to bring the food over to the table. I also find that in washing the plates, you will get some water/soap trapped between the glass bowl and the attached feet, but it will eventually dry. I also wish the handles on the dishes were just a bit bigger, too, since the glass gets hot. But none of those are deal breakers for me, as I love the small footprint, ease of use, and great results the Crispi provides.

This gives you a size reference for the 4 qt. dish. I actually used the "re-crisp" setting there, which worked wonderfully on this that had been previously cooked. The skin was crispy, and my chicken was not dried out one bit. The lids fit each well, and the 6 cup dish lid is leak resistant design. I will add here that I would've liked to see the lid for the 4 qt. dish to also have the leak resistant lid. The total design of the dishes is so smart and versatile. The legs make it easy to serve without touching surfaces. The handles are built in, and then there's the lids for any leftovers. I'd call it an all in one system with the way everything is set up. I would like to see them make an additional dish that was 1 size larger than the 4 quart, too. That would be really nice, as the 4 quart is really not that big. I've been using this instead of our house oven to save money, time, and from heating up our kitchen area so much, too. All in all, I definitely think this is a really nice system and would definitely recommend it.

It’s really easy to just take anywhere too. Now there’s only a couple downsides that I can see, and one is that you have to be careful with the cord because sometimes it can get close to the hot glass so you have to be careful and make sure you’re paying attention to where the cord is because I believe that could be a hazard. My issue with my previous air fryer (it was also ninja) is that the metal can be hard to clean sometimes when things get stuck and this can cause bacteria build up. With this one being glass, I don’t have that issue at all. I absolutely recommend this! You’ll love it.

The principle behind this product intrigued me and I felt sure it would be my next favorite NINJA device. However, I was disappointed in the product. It was more complicated than advertised and unless you wash it in the dishwasher all the time, it is harder to clean when using the large adaptors. The timing for cooking is longer than most air fryers and if cooking multiple items it is more involved than just placing in the fryer and pressing start. It is suppose to be able to bake also but instructions indicate this feature is basically designed for pastry type products. No chart included for Baking instructions for anything to include meat products.The concept is good but it seems they would have sold the small model separate from the large.
