This is a brilliant piece to have in the kitchen. Especially because I'm a mum and also because I spend a lot of time cooking, chopping and trying out different cuisine's which took me forever in the kitchen especially when I'm having guest around and like to cook so many different dishes this cuts the prep time so much. The functions are do easy to use. I'm in love with the chopping and puree functions my 2 faves. Definantly a must buy. A must for all kitchens

Amazing product, well worth the money. Sturdy, easy to use. 2.1ltr jug so ideal for bulkcooking. Easy to clean. Has different functions. The A.I auto is amazing. Choose what you want to do, press the button and everything takes seconds. The puree is amazing and takes no time at all. Shredding a sweet potatoe was perfect. Looking forward to try one of the recepies. I have already reccomended this product to my family and friends. My daughter will be purchasing one when the twins arrive so when they start weaning they will have all fresh natural ingredients.

Be careful with the lid!

This is the second Ninja I have bought. The first had to be replaced because the lid 'lip' which slides into the 'slot' to close the lid securely before engaging the motor, snapped off. If the lip doesn't engage, the whole unit will not work. This ALSO happened with another brand of processor I had. However, as long as you are aware of this, it is a great machine.Hand wash the lid if it is not too dirty. If you need to put it in the dishwasher, make sure the temperature of the dishwasher is on 40degrees rather than 60. I found out that the lid costs around half of the whole machine.I use mine to grate slabs of cheese (for freezing) which it does with ease in seconds, another brand I had (not famous) used to struggle. Chopper and bowl design could be better

Was looking to replace my old Magimix 4000 series with something simpler and a bit smaller, and this fit the bill. Good price, compact design, and not too many superfluous accessories demanding storage space. I find it good for slicing and grating. However, the chop/puree functions are disappointing. There are four blades on the attachment, but the design of the bowl, with four small indented sections, means that the blades don't come close to the edge of most of the bowl. So when it's spinning the blades aren't reaching anything on the outside. This doesn't matter so much if it's a fairly soft or liquid mix, but it's fairly useless for chopping dryish ingredients, eg onions, ginger, chilli and red peppers for the base of a spicy sauce. Easy to use and clean.

I received this food processor for free in return to review its performance and can say i am not disappointed.I enjoy to cook and regularly find myself making pastes and condiments via the use of a hand blender which does the job but is limited by the size of the head and can easily overheat if over used.I have since used the food processor to blitz/pulse my ingredients and can say i am very happy with the results. I have made guacamole, kimchi paste and olive tapenyard which involve a mix of dry and precooked ingredients which are easily handled by the processor. The processor itself is easy to put together with easily changeable blades which are also easily cleaned after each use. I can easily control the consistency of my blitzed mixed using the pulse button instead of the puree.I have also used the slicer which resulted in gleaming beetroot slices achieved in seconds which otherwise would have taken a minute or two.Although I haven't used it yet there is also a mixer head and setting which is an added feature would enable me to attempt other culinary ventures which otherwise i might not have been able to have done (i have made pasta dough and dumpling pastry before but am eager to see if the results are improved using the mixer).Additionally the instructions are easy to follow with both written guidance and pictographs on the packaging provided. the suction cup feet hold the device well in place (to well perhaps as it is hard to move once placed). With this in mind I definitely would recommend this product as long as you are going to use it. Definitely helps me time wise in the kitchen and allows me to explore different recipes with a satisfying end product.

Fantastic!

This food processor is a life saver. As someone with a disability and a very impaired right hand, I could very rarely indulge in what used to be a great pleasure to me: cooking. It became all frozen vegetables, no more bread making, chopping, grinding, well, restrictions and more restrictions. Having this machine changed it all. I can know again enjoy fresh, home made foods and treats. Moreover, it is extremely efficient and quick. It takes no time at all to prepare a delicious, crunchy, home made coleslaw, for instance, or mix all the ingredients for a moreish flap Jack. How cool can this be? Highly recommended piece of culinary equipment.

Not disappointed

Sadly my previous food processor died, having done a lot of research decided on this model. So far not disappointed. I’m used to a smoother and larger bowl, so taking a bit of getting used to. I love that it stops mixing automatically with cake making. It appears to be well made and solid, quite heavy. The suction feet are strong, I keep mine in a cupboard, so storing it in a box for moving makes it easier to move. The gadget for grating and shredding is very efficient and easy to use.

Quality compact and capable machine

I was looking for a more compact processor to sit on my worktop so I could use it more often whilst preparing and cooking, this fitted the bill exactly. I’ve got quite a small kitchen area and have to carry my very heavy processor back and forth each time. First of all I was so impressed with the light weight of this processor and the size is ideal to stand permanently in a corner of the worktop ready to use.Easy instructions to assemble the various options to chop, slice, grate and mix. I made fruit crumbles in minutes. It mixed the dry ingredients in seconds and the slicing/grating disc did the rest. I highly recommend this appliance

So far so good!

Bought just before Christmas to replace a mini processor whose a motor burned-out after only a couple of years of light use. This machine is considerably more substantial with superior quality parts, locking mechanisms and seals.It got used quite a lot for the Christmas food prep and subsequently to grate cheese and to blitz frozen fruit, all of which it has managed with ease. The unit feels sturdy and the suction pads secure it firmly to the worktop when in use, which I really like. It has tolerated the top of the dishwasher well - so far really impressed.

Having had a different brand food processor for many years I decided to downsize to the Ninja BN650UK AutoiQ Food Processor.I'm regretting why I waited so long! This one is light and therefore easy to move.This Ninja has just one of each blade - who on earth needs 2?The cutting blade with its 4 shark teeth mean that you don't need a whole amount in the container for it to be effective.The grater and mandolin accessory is so thoughtfully designed with them being on the one spool therefore taking up less storage space.I find the intelligent auto features very sensible and practical eg chopIt's all very simple to use, simple to store and a great price.Thank you John Lewis for the 2 year guarantee - a bonus which is always appreciated!
