This pot is supposed to be big enough for serving 4 people it may for a one pot meal, which is something not done in this household. I cook from scratch 6/7 days a week and for two people thought this ninja would be great, but itās not you are constantly juggling things around to get even cooking( Iām not surprised people are getting burns) I brought my Ninja in the hope it will save on fuel bills, only time will tell there. On the plus side I finally made a successful cake by ignoring the instructions and using what I know! The machine looks well made and robust. The outside and inner pots are easy to clean and keep clean. Iāve yet to try all the functions, and when I have the score Iāve given may change. I still have high hopes that as I use it more things will improve.

Grilled cheese sandwiches, toast... a one pan full English breakfast... Saute with the lid open is so much safer for me with the Ninja rather than managing a pan. The pressure cook function reduces cooking times massively. And combined with air fry cooking a chicken is a speedy process. I am a rubbish baker (apart from Yorkshire puddings and with the help of the silicone mould accessory they are as good as ever). I am now looking forward to baking bread, cakes and muffins as I am much more confident that with the Ninja I can be more accurate with timings and temperature - so much better than my electric oven. Made a lovely apple and plum crumble with the help of the saute and bake settings. The functions also come in useful to clean it - I use pressure cook or steam and then wipe, easy. With a little practice the lid seal is also easy to remove, clean and replace. A few points to note, this model is large, quite heavy and a little hard to move. It has its own place in my kitchen so this is not so much of an issue but may need some thought for someone with a small kitchen/limited space. I expected it to be substantial with all of the functions it has but was surprised when I got it. It could also do with some sort of removable handle for the air crisper basket and the racks to make it easier/safer for me to remove them from the pot. And I need more accessories too please!! Ninja has limited accessories for it and then some compatible ones but sadly not enough and due to high demand many are constantly out of stock.

I just wanted a simple instruction for this but found it difficult to work through the 3 manuals to work out how to do this. I got very frustrated with this working my way through the 3 separate manuals. What I would have loved for initial set up/how to cook the meal was a QR code for a recipe or function to show you a video / quick visual on how to use a particular function (especially for a first-time user). My husband helped me work through the instructions and we managed to cook this, however lessons were learnt for next time to ensure I account for time that is needed for the pressure cooker/steam setting to reach ultimate heat/pressure level before it begins. I felt like my roasties were going to be cold by the time the steamer reached level to pressure cook broccoli (in 1 minute!!) as it didnāt specify this in the āPressure Cooking Chartā Manual. I still donāt know where my husband read this (in one of the 3 manuals) regarding the pressure cooker, however I can see a āNOTEā to advise of this on the āSteam Air Fry Chartā. Missing this really annoyed me and I was disappointed during cookingā¦however the meal did taste delicious.Day 2: After initially feeling overwhelmed by the instructions and cooking my first meal, I felt like I had already become familiar with the 3 different settings and realised that the multicooker seemed straightforward to use after all. I effortlessly cooked a lentil soup in around 15 minutes in total (not including time it took for the pressure cooker to reach optimal level) which I used two functions for: sautĆ© mode to brown off onions and spices, then added required liquid, set to pressure cooker, added lentils and peppers, set to start, and went back to āworking from homeā and WOW - a warm delicious meal made effortlessly in the one pan in 15 minutes. AMAZING!Day 3: I cooked a complete meal of rice, tender stem broccoli and salmon fillets in one pan/one go using the āsteam mealā function - in 6 minutes!!! (extra minutes added for it to build enough pressure). This was so effortless, and I couldnāt believe how quick and easy!Day 4: I cooked a creamy chicken curry in around 20 minutes (in total). I first used the sear/sautee mode to fry the onions and spices, I then added full chicken breasts to sear, I then added my sauce/required liquid, peppers and set to pressure cooker and it took 10 minutes for the chicken to be cooked. I then broke up/shredded the chicken, set to sear/sautee again and added coconut milk to heat up and reduced with some corn flowerā¦again a hearty meal made effortlessly when I would usually be standing cooking a curry for hours.I am currently working from home since the pandemic and prior to this I would always meal prep to take a hearty meal to work, however ironically now I am at home and have more time it has made me lazy, however this is now going to change with the NINJA! I can cook amazing meals whilst I still work and not need to worry about checking oven/standing over a pan. I am also due a baby in March and cannot wait to use this when the baby is here to still cook and eat healthy meals without worrying about finding the time to cook them.I would HIGHLIGHLY RECOMMEND a Ninja to anyone - do not be put off thinking it will be difficult to useā¦once you have a go itās so easy!! It makes every part of cooking so effortless, and you have a hearty meal that would sometimes take hours to cook. There is also the benefit of less cleaning up to do, and no scrubbing of pans as the quality of the non stick ninja is amazing! I am so excited to continue experimenting with the rest of the functions as there are still many I havenāt tried yet. The ninja has even inspired me to bake a cake or some bread using yet another one of its functions and recipes!The only constructive feedback I have is:ā¢ QR code to talk users/visually show them how to set up and use each of the different functions. The instructions provided are clear, however can be overwhelming for someone and confusing as they are over 3 manuals.ā¢ QR code to take you to a video of how to cook the meals provided in the manual. This would be helpful for first time users to get the hang of each function first.ā¢ More notes to remind you of the time taken for multicooker to build enough pressure. I am not sure this is noted within each meal example.ā¢ Reels on Instagram to show you step by step how to cook a meal. This would be a quick way of visually seeing how to use the product step by step and the end result.ā¢ More promotion of ācooking circleā used to scan for more recipes as I had totally missed this even though customers are directed to this on the first page of the manual.I am absolutely delighted with the product and keen to try out more now :-)

I can do a roast chicken dinner from start to finish in an hour, and it makes great chips, and cooks fish beautifully without smelling out your kitchen.This is literally the best item I have in my kitchen and my sister has bought one and she agrees. Itās cooks so fast, makes meals so much healthier as air drying requires such little oil.It really is the best thing we have in our kitchen. I would recommend following the instructions to get used to it and you can cook anything it works well from crisping to slow cooking.
Ninja Foodi 14in1 is just amazing after receiving this product we tried a number of the different settings that the product has and can safely say these are amazing especially when you are tight for time.Slow cooker is great it has a built in timer so literally you add the ingredients and the cook time and when it finishes the alarm goes to signal that its finished. I have only had it a couple of weeks but I have tried most of the modes to produce excellence. This one pot meal provider is simple to use, economical to run, and so very easy to clean. We have just enjoyed roast pork and crackling with crispy fluffy roast potatoes, perfect veg and gravy, indeed a roast dinner to set before a king. Also been thrilled with slow cooked stew, juicy steaks, perfect burgers, toasted sandwiches, fruit crumble, lasagne, crispy and succulent salmon. Not tried poached eggs but the scrambled were creamy and delicious.
