Ninja Foodi XL 5-in-1 Indoor Grill with 4-Quart Air Fryer

I love my ninja foodi grill. I use it almost every single day. Whether I'm grilling up steaks or air frying chicken, it is a must in my kitchen! There's no reason to go out for a steak anymore when I can cook restaurant quality steak at home! The thermometer makes cooking to the perfect degree a breeze! And clean up is easy as most parts are dishwasher safe!

Absolutely fantastic! A must have!

The ninja foodi xl indoor grill does exactly what it says. It excells at food! I love the ease of the machine and the pamphlet/recipe book is a blessing! The guide is easy to follow and understand and I love the sample recipes provided which not only taste great, but help me think of other recipes to try as well . Like all things it takes time and practice, but it’s definitly worth it! I love the ability to cook for my family in a fraction of the time and a lot healthier! No more canceling grilling plans on the count of rain, now you can enjoy the taste of freshly grilled food all year long! Awesome grill features!

So far I have grilled; skinless Turkey breast, pork loin, burgers and NY Strip steaks. All came out with a beautiful sear and perfectly done. I allow the grill plate etc to completely cool before Hand Washing, everything washed up with ease. Having no issue with anything and love that I can grill inside all year long. Have not tried any other function because I basically wanted to replace another type of indoor grill. This has surpassed my expectations! The machine is a bit louder than expected but you will adjust once you have used it a few times. After a few uses, you will figure your timing out to your likeness of meat temperatures. The booklet helps a lot!

Better than the others in a different way

If you ever tried to cook meat in an Air Fryer and could not get it to turn out well, this air fryer solves that. The temperature probe allows for PERFECT cooked chicken, steak and fish. Crispy outside and juicy and tender inside. It roasts and bakes very well. It has not replaced my basket style AF but it has replaced my toaster oven, pizza cooker, dehydrator. I was reluctant to have another kitchen gadget on my counter top, but we have used it every night since purchasing. Makes good biscuits, muffins, and cinnamon rolls! I have not turned on my oven once. It would be great for a camper or RV, because it cuts cooking time down with half the energy and much less heat. You will not be "steamed" out of the kitchen with this unit. Easy to use, great product!

I have tried several different air fryers in the past, and this one is by far the most easy to use, easy to clean, and best made! Cleaning is incredibly easy. Every pan, plate, and basket that comes with the Ninja Foodi 5 in 1 can go in the dishwasher! Honestly thought they clean off so easy in the sink I rarely even feel the need to use the dishwasher. The size is great. It has a small enough footprint that I am able to leave it on the counter top. Considering I use it at least three nights a week to cook dinner this is very convenient. While it doesn't take up much space on the counter, it is still big enough to cook more than enough food for our family of 4, two of which are teenage boys! Very little smoke is produced and I no longer need to crack a window while grilling indoors! The ease of use is spectacular. The set up of the controls is very straight forward and simple. Both of my teenagers are able to use this easily! I highly recommend this product!

Fire up your meal life!!

Wow, wow, wow is all I can say! My family has been getting bored with meals as we spend more time working from home always looking for options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. We tried the hamburger recipe with tator tots last night, and it was absolutely delicious. The tator tots were very crispy, like fast food/restaurant style without the grease! We wanted more tator tots after our meal:) Ninja makes it very easy too! Just drop the tator tots or French fries in the drawer and leave in for 20 minutes. Voila! The hamburgers with cheese were absolutely delicious and very, very juicy. Again, better than a restaurant because we did not add grease, and the grease dropped to the bottom of the rack. Great functionality but could use a bit more space

I’ve had this about a year. I’ve used all the functions. I use the air fryer and grill the most. But the bake/roast was nice during the summer months as to not turn on the oven. As a family of 4, it would be nice to have more grill and air fry space. Also the screen that protects the heating element in the top occasionally pops off during cooking if I’m not extremely diligent about ensuring it’s in tightly after cleaning. But overall I’ve been extremely happy with this product.

Great machine, needs non-stick coating under lid

I bought this as a replacement for a 10+ year old glass bowl Deni Convection Oven. I searched for features, watched YouTube videos and read numerous reviews before deciding on this model. going in, I knew the underside of the lid was plain uncoated aluminum and the grease filter screen was stainless steel. This means one must constantly clean them to reduce build up that could make smoke fumes appear. Thus I bought extra screens (another retailer), and prepared to always have to clean thoroughly under the lid.Regardless of that, I very much recommend this machine for its functionality. It is a larger footprint on my counter, but not too tall to hit the upper cabinets much when open. The crisping basket fits nicely in the long "pot" when storing. To use the presets, one must warm up the unit (about 5 minutes) and then it will display "add food." Upon adding food, and closing lid, the timer starts the count down. I have use the air fry and bake functions so far. I have not grilled nor dehydrated yet. The unit is very loud (see YouTube). So if you have an open concept kitchen where fumes and noise have no walls to contain it, you're going to have a lot of noise when in use.Overall, I would buy this unit again. I've had it for 2 weeks, so durability is still to be proven though. Be sure to register the unit as instructed, take out screen and clean or swap often, and keep the underside clean of baked on oil splatter.

My new favorite appliance

This 5 in one grill is awesome, I grilled sausages, no flip with all around searing they turned out perfect. The air-fyer mode I made a breaded chicken breast they turned out juicy in the middle crisp on the outside. Baking mode I made a Banana cake, the regular cook time is 55 minutes in the ninja it cut the bake time in half cake was done in 24 minutes. I roasted pork chops on the roast rack they also turned out perfect, this machine also has a dehydrate mode, I dried some basil it only took 2 hours. This is non stick , so easy to clean comes with a cleaning brush.The directions are very clear and helpful. The recipe book included is also helpful with cook times, also good recipes. The unit is really built for durability and long life for sure. From the handle to the casing, the whole unit will last for many years to come. The choice for grilling a steak or air frying a load of chicken is what the doctor ordered. (Speaking of doctor, the fact is in that air frying is healthier than the old oil frying). The steak and chicken both came out done with the browning that I crave (I like my steaks medium well, and this unit does it as I like). Taking this unit on a trip to the cabin is wonderful, and knowing you can bake a cake at your cabin is nice. If you have a RV with power (or you can go generator power) you can do a complete meal, and stores away easily to save space. Great for the on the road people for sure. I air fried some chicken and it was fast, tasty, and easy to use. The directions are easy to read and understand. I'm an older person and I can use this unit no problem. The clean up of the unit is as easy as popping out the grill plates, and use mild soap. Speaking of grill plates--- they are quality made and very durable. These plates will last a very long time no doubt. The control panel for time, temperature, and mode -- is easy to read and understand. Even the power cord is top shelf.
