I bought this grill about 2 weeks ago mid April and used it twice to cook hamburgers. Thinking this thing would be faster and easier to use then a real pellet grill. First time I followed the directions on cooking burgers the burgers came out black burnt. That was a waste of $10 bucks in meat. The next time I reduced the heat to med and they still turned out burnet again. I wonder if the heat sensor is bad? Cooking on high and even med causes so much splatter and mess. Clean up is a chore. Grease splatters everywhere when you open the lid including on the handles of the unit and the table it is setting on. It is easier to use my pellet grill to grill with due to the amount of clean up that is required with the Ninja Woodfire grill as well as the amount of time it ... MoreI bought this grill about 2 weeks ago mid April and used it twice to cook hamburgers. Can't leave it outside due to rain and can not bring it inside because of the smell of smoke and old burnt food even after cleaning the unit. Maybe buy the cover for it and hope rain does not get under the cover. This unit I think is best for someone that has an outdoor kitchen with a covered area so the thing can live outside.I want a way to adjust the temp in degrees when grilling not low med or hi.I have not tried the other cook settings as of this review.Wonder if I can return it and get my money back?

I am more than impressed with Ninja Woodfire! I have had mine for about 6 weeks, and everything I have cooked has turned out amazing, to the extent that I have not used my indoor oven at all! I have been an experienced barbecue cook for over 40 years, using charcoal and gas. I have never before tried electric since I did not believe they could really do the job. The Ninja Woodfire has proved me wrong. The finished food has a really good char from the grill and takes a fraction of the time. Roasting is amazing! I have roasted a boned leg of lamb in 25 minutes cooked to perfection, a deer wellington (Rick Stein's recipe - highly recommended) in puff pastry turned out amazing (see photos). Lamb chops, pork chops, chicken legs, potatoes dauphinoise , simple sausages, ... MoreI am more than impressed with Ninja Woodfire! The most important thing for me is the successful cooking, however I must also highly recommend the Ninja Woodfire for its ease of use. The clear instructions and easy process of cooking makes successful barbecuing available to even novice users. Cleaning afterwards is remarkably easy, the non-stick grill plate is astonishing. I clean mine using soapy water and a rubber brush and it comes up like new every time. The removable drip tray is a real bonus, reducing the fat considerably. Finally, because the cooking process is so fast, electricity consumption is minimised. I give the Ninja Woodfire 100%. My only regret is that I didn't invest in the larger model.

I bought the Ninja Woodfire Electric BBQ with the stand back in August and we've been so impressed with it. We've used it about twice a week because it's so convenient to use and easy to clean. We haven't used the smoke functions a great deal, but the times that we have added some smokiness to chicken breasts, we've been really impressed with the flavour that comes through in a relatively short space of time. It's a really easy piece of kit to use with clear instructions in the booklet that comes with it, it's quick to set up and really easy to clean afterwards. We haven't really needed to use more than hot soapy water to clean the grill plate. For a group BBQ it'd probably be fine as long as you weren't planning on serving everyone all at the same time, but my BBQs are usually more casual, so that would be fine.Overall, I'd heartilly reccommend it and the stand, if you don't have an outdoor work surface.

The first time I fired this BBQ up, there was clearly a problem with a fan. Was mightily impressed with Ninja Customer service and within 10 minutes of my submitting a support ticket, Ninja were on the telephone, a quick check and I was advised that a replacement unit would be sent out immediately - it arrived within 24 hours, so a big thumbs up to Ninja support.Have used the BBQ 4 or 5 times and I am really pleased apart from a couple of silly niggling issues. The mains lead is very short and whilst I can understand why, it means that an extension cable is almost always required. The On/Off switch is tucked away underneath and is very awkward to access, especially if you have big hands. The dedicated table which came as part of the package is in my opinion a ... MoreThe first time I fired this BBQ up, there was clearly a problem with a fan. The mains lead is very short and whilst I can understand why, it means that an extension cable is almost always required. The On/Off switch is tucked away underneath and is very awkward to access, especially if you have big hands. The dedicated table which came as part of the package is in my opinion a total waste of time and I cannot recommend anyone paying for this. Although it has wheels on the front, moving it around is very hard work due to the design of the rear struts. You cannot lift the table and walk forward without these getting in the way.The cover works well and keeps the water away. A stowage area for the mains plug would be useful. The grills itself works well, and although I haven't used the crisper basket it looks good. The BBQ works well and cooks the food beautifully. I have used the BBQ and Roast programmes so far and these work well. Having a big family get together soon so hopefully will be using more of the options.Overall I am very pleased with the unit, and would have given 5 stars but from the odd niggles mentioned above.
Having recently bought a Ninja air fryer, which I have used every day, I decided to look at a Ninja bbq grill. My current gas bbq was old and falling apart and I was fed up lugging around heavy gas bottles to fuel it and cleaning the bbq was long-winded and hard work. Also, during the winter, the bbq cover would blow around and tear causing the bbq to rust.It was time to replace it with an alternative. I couldn’t see the point of going down the gas bbq route again and I was considering a cheaper charcoal bbq.I then saw an advert for the Ninja bbq grill and being so happy with the quality of my indoor air fryer explored this further. The offer was a free cover and stand if I purchased the bbq grill. All arrived quickly at the same time. The stand is a ... MoreHaving recently bought a Ninja air fryer, which I have used every day, I decided to look at a Ninja bbq grill. My current gas bbq was old and falling apart and I was fed up lugging around heavy gas bottles to fuel it and cleaning the bbq was long-winded and hard work. I couldn’t recommend this item more! It is just brilliant and everything I need. It easily cooks 8 burgers at a time. The food comes out better than on a gas bbq as it doesn’t burn or dry out.Totally worth the money.
What a great piece of gear this is. Small and compact so we can take it away in the caravan, or sits nicely on a stand on the back verandah.I have been looking for a Smoker style, and thought I had made a choice when I saw a friend use his Traeger. But when I saw the Ninja, I was sceptical that something this small could pull all the functions off. All doubts have now disappeared.Cooking: have cooked a 1.8 kg pork roast using the ‘probe’. Done perfectly in 3.5 hours (except the crackle, which had to go under the grill to crisp up). I used the Smoker with the roast and it was brilliant. The smoke flavour was through the all of the meat.Airfryer: have reheated 3 frozen pies and on another occasion 1.2 kg of frozen flavoured chicken pieces, both done in 20 mins. ... MoreWhat a great piece of gear this is. This is the auto setting, which can be varied, but haven’t needed to yet.I am still experimenting with the other uses, but I think this is now my favourite BBQ.It’s easy to clean with all surfaces appearing to be enamel.Really … I have not yet found anything to dislike, even the weight isn’t too much to carry, considering its size and functionality.
I had always wanted the Ninja outdoor grill from the moment I saw it advertised but couldn't really justify the expense. At that time it was £350 just for the BBQ unit. So, when I came across this fantastic offer from Robert Dyas for £250 which included the stand and cover - well, it was a no-brainer. I bought it!Super quick delivery, packaged well and does everything as it says on the box. Just wish the weather would improve.
I am super pleased with my Ninja Woodfire grill, I purchased it on offer at £280, with a free stand and cover. The package would normally cost £520. It is super easy to use, and you have the option to add smoke when grilling or using any of the settings, which gives it an authentic bbq taste. The cook options are similar to my ninja air fryer, and comparable in results. So effectively it gives you much more cooking space, if you have guests coming. The only downside is that the pellets that create the smoke, leaves a very sticky residue in the area you put the pellets. It takes some effort to remove this residue, which is a shame, as the ninja itself cleans very easily. I’m still super pleased with it though. Received this product to test as part of the Ninja product tester programme but sadly due to the good olde British weather have only just started to use it in recent weeks. The build quality of the unit seems very good thus far, the supplied roasting tray looks to be of very good quality and the product itself is simple to use and intuitive as per most Ninja productsSo far we have only used it to smoke a whole chicken, and the results and feedback from everyone was that it was some of the nicest chicken they had tasted. The meat cooked/smoked in the timescales indicated by the included guide and we used the milder of the two types of smoking pellets provided that delivered a very nice Smokey flavour. My only slight criticism is on clean up of the unit I ... MoreReceived this product to test as part of the Ninja product tester programme but sadly due to the good olde British weather have only just started to use it in recent weeks. My only slight criticism is on clean up of the unit I couldn’t remove all of the charr/scorch marking but it in no way affects the operation of the unit and is purely cosmetic, but I had hoped to keep it spotless for longer.I cannot wait to try this machine out for other meats and home made pizzas in the future. Historically I’ve always been a traditional charcoal BBQ’er, but the ability to bring this machine out and start cooking instantly as opposed to the waiting with traditional BBQ whilst getting comparable results in terms of flavour and texture is a massive plus point.
While this may not the best time of year to be outside cooking, we have really enjoyed trying out the outdoor oven. Having used other pizza ovens in the past, I wasn’t sure how this would compare, but I am really impressed! The ease of having an electric pizza oven which you could just plug in and turn on was so much easier than setting up other pizza ovens I have tried. Our pizzas were quick to cook and tasted amazing!Having owned a range of different Ninja products, I found it easy to set up the oven as it was very similar to my other appliances. The instructions were clear to follow and the recipe book is great. The design of the product looks amazing and although I will be purchasing a cover for it to stay outdoors, it does say it is suitable to leave outside. One thing that did surprise me was the size, it is quite big and is quite heavy so just one thing to be aware of, but means plenty of space to cook inside! The cable I felt could be a bit longer so that you could cook a bit further away from the house, but I guess that depends where your outside sockets are, so that is just personal preference. The pizza peel was also well designed and was easy to get the pizzas in and out the oven with it.Like each Ninja product I have, I am really pleased with this product, and cannot wait to test out the other settings and see what else I can cook with it!
