A much more creative game then almost any other Lego game. this time instead of finishing levels, you can play the story in any order (which can be a turn off for you) and it is one of the funniest Lego games you can play. But the biggest change is the creative part of the game. This time you can build your own levels with switches, keys, drive cars over ramps and even change the terrain. If you like Lego Star Wars The Complete Saga with the more linear gameplay then this games might not be for you. But if you like the creativity that some Lego games give you, then this game is for you.

Another George Lucas inspired video game, Lego Indiana Jones is a hit among everyone in my family. Enthralling every age group, this game provides non-stop action and still delivers on original cinematic dialogue and wit. The majority of this game takes place as Indie escapes the jungle and, as you take on his character, you must build and battle your way through many of the widely known elements from the films (ie. snakes and the infamous boulder run). One of the more fun creative elements of this game is that you can unlock new characters as you progress throughout and then mix and match the Lego pieces to create new outfits and heroes.

LEGO Indiana Jones 2 is a must have for any Lego video game fan. This game has the Crystal Skull movie in it as well. This game is certainly different than the first game and all other Lego games since there are no minikits in the levels. There are ten artifacts scattered throughout the mini maps. Also there are power bricks scattered around the mini maps that unlock extras like invincibility. The game also features the new Xbox Live connections. You can play with other people online. I myself have not tried that feature for the fact that this game freezes up on me a lot. None of my other games freeze up on me, only this game. and Traveler's Tales does not want to come out with an update to fix the problems. All in all this is a must have for a Lego video game ... MoreLEGO Indiana Jones 2 is a must have for any Lego video game fan. This game has the Crystal Skull movie in it as well. Awesomely addictive! Something new at every turn! Everything was as described; sealed with disc and booklet. Easy to use and navigate. A MUST HAVE for every Indy fan!
Item is exactly as described and the game works flawlessly! Ive officially completed my Xbox LEGO collection and I couldnt be happier. As for the gameplay itself, its not the best LEGO game Ive played but still fun. My favorites are the Avengers and Marvel Super Heroes games!
I have most of the Lego games but this one is different - in a good way. I was a little put off at first that there was no clear direction on this game. The previous games I played like Star Wars Complete Saga have "doors" you pick from 1-6 in order. This game has no "doors" but it is a free run-around experience with arrows that point to different levels. The hubs in each chapter (there are 6) are just as much fun to run around as the actual chapters are to complete. To date, I would consider this my favorite Lego game. One thing that is very hard to accomplish is the balloon level on one of the first chapters. There is one stubborn balloon that is very hard to reach jumping a jeep over a bridge. It is do-able but it does require a lot of patience.
This game is a lot of fun. If you have not played any of the Lego games then this would be a great game, as it adds in some extra elements that aren't in the other games, however these new additions seem to take it away from what the old games were, so if you did play the old games you may be a little disappointed that the formula has changed somewhat. At any rate, I have played all of them and I still enjoyed this game very much. The levels are a little smaller, even though it claims to be the biggest Lego game world yet. The reason for this as each section, eg: Raiders of the Lost Ark, Temple of Doom, etc, has it's own hub world. Which is like a glorified menu screen where you can select your characters and levels. A large version of the cantina from Lego Star Wars, or the University from the Original Lego Indiana Jones. This is cool, but personally I would have preferred the story levels to have been bigger and more involved.I am a 28 year old male, so it's not just for kids, even though kids would love it.The best feature by far would have to be the multiplayer. In the old games you played together on the same screen and couldn't move off on your own unless your buddy followed you...now the screen splits, and not just down the middle. The split-line dynamically shifts depending on where the characters are in relation to each other and morphs back together seamlessly as they re-enter the same section of the level. It actually looks really impressive and blew my mind just a little when it first happened, as I wasn't expecting it from this sort of game.In closing, if you're a fan of the Lego franchise then you certainly can't go wrong by expanding your collection with this title. It is a fun game and it allows you to build your own levels also, so the longevity is increased and therefore the value for money. If you're kind of over the Lego games a little then this will probably ill I for you as it really doesn't go out of it's way to do anything spectacular or engaging, or ground-breaking...but do you really expect a Lego game to do so?
I love the Lego series of games, and this one continues the tradition. Indy 2 seems a little easier to solve than previous titles, so some older players may find it too simple to solve. There are some issues with this game. After finishing a level and returning to the hub, I have had the game lock up a few times. (The screen froze and the background music continued playing. Only cycling power to the PS3 could exit the game.) There is also an issue where you can get all of the treasure chests for a level (confirmed in the pause screen as 10/10), but one of the chests remains ghosted out in the hub preventing you from completing the super-bonus object and completing the episode. I did contact Lucas Arts, but they only directed me to their forums. The forums show these ... MoreI love the Lego series of games, and this one continues the tradition. I did contact Lucas Arts, but they only directed me to their forums. The forums show these as issues for PS3 and XBox users who have similar complaints. Since the game has been out for a while, I guess they don't plan to fix the bugs. Overall, it is fun, but the bugs are frustrating. If the treasure chest bug appears, the only solutions appear to be starting the game over from scratch, or live with not getting 100% on all episodes. I hope the upcoming Harry Potter title will return to the quality I have seen from previous Lego titles.
Lego Indiana Jones Game for PS2 was my very 1st purchase not just on eBay but anywhere online. I'm really pleased with the game it has a proper Indiana Jones feel about it and the fun cheeky Lego side to it, graphics are outstanding for a PlayStation 2 Game and gameplay is fun with just the right amount of difficulty the sound is great with all the music from the films. It arrived 2 days after purchase in excellent condition so I've gone on to make further purchases from eBay I'm very happy with the game..
As a kid, the only games I would ever play were either Skylanders, ninja turtles, or Lego games. The Lego games were always my favorite, I had nearly every single one released for the 3ds/Wii u. Playing this on my newly bought psp just brought back so many of the memories I had playing Lego games on my 3ds, and got me into the Indiana Jones franchise!
