This is a very useful addition to my switch collection. When playing in dock mode with a friend, I only have one pro controller so I usually let them use that one and am forced to use the joy cons by themselves. I've used the con holder and its ok, but i don't prefer this. This grip adds some heft and makes the top buttons a bit more accessible to me. The charging feature is nice and the materials are sturdy. I'm sure that this will last through a LOT of gaming.

I have a hard time gripping the joy cons if they are not attached to the Switch console, but also find the switch console to be uncomfortable to hold. This Charging Grip Plus gives me the capability to play while feeling like I am holding a real controller. The joy cons are easy to attach and detach from the controller assembly. We were looking for an additional full-size controller and decided to give this one a try because of the charging feature. It's very similar in design and size to the stock controller grip that comes with the console. However, this grip feels more sturdy and the triggers are more ergonomic. Also, the charging aspect is a huge benefit considering the stock grip doesn't have charging capabilities. The charging cable is long enough where you can still be playing on the couch and charging your joy-cons from the console. Overall, this is a very nice controller grip upgrade from the stock grip that's include with the console.

This was a terrific buy. Got it on sale but what I love is that it charges joy cons. No need for a joycon charging dock, I simply have a USB cable plugged in to dock and each night I plug the controller in. Other two joycons are attached to main switch unit. Wish the built in grip had charging. The only thing I wish was that the product came in black instead of grey, but that's being picky.
Oh my gosh, this JoyCon grip charger is AMAZING!! My son loves to play his switch on the TV, but he doesnt like just using the joy cons individually. I bought a cheap, knock off controller from a local store which did the job, albeit not well. Then I found this. Let me tell you, GAME CHANGER!!! It charges as you play, which eliminates the anger when batteries run low! It's also very sturdy!! Its seriously the best one I have seen, and my son loves it!!
The Joy-Con Charging Grip Plus really enhances Nintendo Switch gaming. The grips are very comfortable and it really feels like a regular controller. Adding the Nintendo Joy-Con controllers are very easy. They fit perfectly and makes sure there is not wiggling. The cord is super long so you can charge the controllers and continue to play. The indicator light on the bottom lets you know when the controllers are fully charged. I have two little girls who love to play the Switch and this makes it much easier for them to control. Everything about this product is great and I would recommend it to anyone.
Value for money wise this is a great little upgrade for players who like playing the switch on big screen and have big hands. The rear number buttons are exactly that though, buttons. This is due to the joycon controls themself. You can also charge both the controls without removing them. This is one of my favourite little accessories for the switch.

I wanted to love this controller and put it to the test right away! The instructions were easy enough to follow and the packaging was very nice! The issue began once the joy cons were put into the controller. The left holder was perfect, but the right holder pressed too tightly on the top bumpers and permanently held them down while playing. It’s a shame because I absolutely love the size of the controller and how it feels in my hand!
The feel of this controller is amazing! It feels so much better in my hands than the joy sticks alone. This is a great item to buy if you own a Switch. The charge is quick and lasts awhile. The grip plus is nice and easy to use. I love it! A great addition to help my gaming be better. I definitely recommend this! To have the amazing feeling from how the controller feels in your hands and that it charges too is a plus! Definitely worth it!
