SUPERB!!! wireless and simple to use it. Much better than I expected! But when I use this for the first time, I felt uncomfortable because of smaller than game pad. Once I get used to this, I prefer to use this. Why not! it is much lighter with perfect size. The size is similar to the Galaxy note 4 when I grip it in landscape way. I think this size is good for all players, even better for kids that uncomfortable to use wii u game pad like my younger brother :) I guess this controller size can fit up to XXL gloves wearers but if you have extraordinary big hands, this might not be suitable...

Bought two of these controllers, fought with them for over 15 minutes, neither would not pair to my Wii U. Finally got them paired by holding the sync button on the controller for about 30 seconds. My original Wii U gamepad still pairs in under 5 seconds, so I was not expecting this. Compared to the original gamepad, these are much lighter, and as some people have mentioned, the "dead zone" on the analog sticks seems a little too big. Wish I could still find the original models out there, but until then, will have to make do with third party options like this.

I was so happy with this controller I paid about 20$ for I just have to write a review about it to let you know what's up. So, first and foremost: It works great. All the buttons worked and I am able to play Zelda Breath of the Wild with it! This in itself proves it's a Wii U Pro Controller because that game only works with 2 types of controllers. The "Wii U Game-pad" & the "Wii U Pro Controller." Even though when the game first came out the print on the back of the game case clearly shows it works with all the other Wii controllers, it doesn't. Nintendo corrected the print shortly thereafter. So if you have that game for Wii U check the back of your case. If it shows it works with controllers that it doesn't work with. You have an original ;) "Fun fact".Ok enough ... MoreI was so happy with this controller I paid about 20$ for I just have to write a review about it to let you know what's up. Everything about this controller also feels and looks exactly like a Nintendo brand Wii U Pro controller. The only things that are missing signifying that it is in fact a third party controller not made by Nintendo are: the print on the front that says "Wii u" and the battery case on the back is sealed rather than a clip that opens. For the price it's absolutely perfect! This is the price Nintendo's controller's are truly worth and should be sold for! In fact I am soo happy with this controller and how well it works that if I need another pro controller for any reason, this is the one I am more than likely going to buy again. There is absolutely no good reason for wii controllers to cost 40-80+$ This really is just about the best deal you'll get for 20$ when it comes to Wii U pro controllers. The Battery: Well this one I was a little unhappy to find out but the battery is only a 350mAh "built-in" Lithium battery. Built in is the main problem for me here. Meaning once the battery is no good you either have to take apart the controller to get to it & hopefully replace it or alternatively buy another controller. It is mentioned in the slip that.

I’ve had the WiiU pro controller for at least a couple weeks and so far it has been great!! It was easy to set up and I prefer using this controller over using the gamepad (especially with Zelda’s Breath of the Wild) due to the controller being smaller and easier to use. The charger adapter that comes with the pro controller is a bit short, but the controller is also wireless which can be used off the charger for a while!! I haven’t had any issues with this controller yet and do recommend!
For a while, I thoughtI would never need this controller. When I first tried it out at a Chick-Fil-A military event in a game truck for Super Mario 3D World, it felt cheap and unnecessary. "4 months and some change , 1 of my Wiimote chargers broke. After that happened, I purchased this at Target 3 months ago to have a wireless controller with a long battery life. The controller feels good in your hands, it's durable and it has an 80 hour battery life. It may have an odd layout to core gamers, but it's easy to get used to.
I really like this controller ...I purchased this to use with emulation on android phone! so far no issues ...it paired without problem! seems to be very nice and responsive with the buttons! Its also not heavy which is a bonus when gaming for longer periods! Other controllers i have had can be really heavy and after 20 mins of playing your wrists and arms are sore this wasnt the case with this one! Definately a decent answer to gaming on your phone or tablet!
The Wii U had a sad life but some great games. Having not really ever used a pro controller I decided that the wii u would be a good opportunity to try one out that wasn’t that crazy expensive. I think it works well, obviously the gamepad is a controller in itself but if you don’t want to hold that or your friends are used to bulkier controllers then I’d highly recommend it.
Bought it in store. This controller is generally inferior to the Switch Pro and other recent controllers. The sticks and triggers feel worse and it is wireless only. However, it is the only controller I own that has a good D-pad and vibration that works on PC. This makes it good for old 3D platformers from the PS1 era like Soul Reaver which move with the D-pad. Just wish the D-pad was where the stick is.Got unlucky with mine though. It was filthy, and even after the clerk wiped it down, it turned out some kid had spilt coke inside it which make the triggers sticky, meaning I had to take thing apart. All was good in the end though, I don't think a lot of this Wii U stuff got much use lol.
The controller worked great with the exception of this major flaw that turned me away. It took me awhile to figure out during a 2 day test-run, however I can now pinpoint the issue. The controller while it is third party, ""The Wii U console will only register it as a wii-remote"" making it unplayable on a good selection of my games(ex:Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild) which allow only Wii U game pad and pro controller. If it weren't for this flaw, I would purchase more. Overall, it's not a bad controller it worked great, no input lag, although, the shoulder buttons were clicky and had some misfire registers which happened very rarely. No dead-zones in analog during testing and worked great for Super Smash Bros. Again, ""The Wii U console will only register it as ... MoreThe controller worked great with the exception of this major flaw that turned me away. Again, ""The Wii U console will only register it as a wii-remote"" be mindful if you choose to use these controllers on certain video games. Hence some strictly function only with Wii U Gamepad and Wii U Pro controllers. With this third party I discovered this flaw that turned me away.
