NIOD Copper Amino Isolate Serum 3 1:1
Introducing NIOD’s third generation, multi-award-winning Copper Amino Isolate Serum 3 1:1, a water-based serum suited to all skin types, as a replacement for the Copper Amino Isolate Serum 2:1. The high-performance formula contains a 1% concentration by weight of pre-assembled and fully stable GHK-Cu, alongside 1% GHK peptide. Plus, additional collagen-supporting peptides such as tripeptide-29, acetyl tetrapeptide-2 and trifluoro acetyl tripeptide-2 help address visible signs of ageing such as fine lines and loss of firmness. Boasting a lightweight, fluid texture, the serum intensely hydrates and nourishes thanks to a blend of mono-dispersed, plant-derived glycogen and cross-linked hyaluronic acid. The 2% concentration of GHK and GHK-Cu aims to reduce the appearance of textural irregularities and uneven tone, while minimising the look of visibly enlarged pores for radiant-looking complexion. With continued use, skin appears smooth and supple, adorned with a natural glow.

In 4 days, my inflamed and swollen skin calmed down, my eyelid did not swell anymore and I can close and open my eyelids without issue. I’ve tried quite a few copper peptide serums and nothing quite comes close to this. I’ve been using it for the past 6 months now, and this has reached holy grail status. It does everything it claims, from helping with texture, brightening, pores and overall skin health in general. I had a few pretty bad scars (from obsessively picking at my skin, my bad) and it healed/repaired them beautifully. The texture is very runny, almost water thin, and it sure is a task to work with. I use a few drops every night, wait for a couple of minutes and follow up with my moisturiser. The brilliant blue hue is worth noting and this doesn’t have any fragrance. Brilliant serum to include as part of your well aging routine especially if you’re someone that cannot tolerate retinoids and ... I've been using The Ordinary products for about a decade now and really like them, but other than Sanskipt Saponins and Hydration Vaccine, I've avoided Niod products because of the price. I decided to try some of the other Niod products during the November sale so bought this along with MMHC2, Fractionated Eye serum, and Hydration Vaccine and after using the set all together, in less than 2 months, I noticed considerable improvement in the appearance of my skin. I have pretty decent skin overall for my age (I'm 55) and have always looked younger than my age, but as I've aged, naturally, so has my skin. With this regimen, I've noticed much less wrinkling and crows feet around my eyes, they look so smooth. But the biggest difference is the area just below the corners ... I have this pitting that has developed over time due to collagen breakdown and no matter what I've tried, nothing effects it...until now. While they haven't completely disappeared, they are so much smoother and less noticeable. I'm absolutely thrilled! My daughter has noticed a difference and in the course of two weeks, I had 3 people tell me how young I look, one of them carded me for a bar area and another guy took a double take after looking at my license and said, "I wasn't expecting that!". I have very fair skin and always have a little rosacea but now there's only a tad on the cherries of my cheeks. I would never go out without at least putting a little concealer on my problem areas (I wear minimal makeup but like to wear concealer and blush), but now, I feel comfortable enough to go without makeup if I really want or need to. I also have fair skin that is fairly sensitive so I can't wear anything with added fragrance or comedogenic ingredients, and so far haven't had any issues with pimples, acne, or clogged pores. Just really lovely smooth skin. I can't say which product is the magic pill or whether it's a synergistic effect, but regardless, I'll continue using all of these products religiously.

If you're reading this review, you've probably been interested in trying this product for some time. But, without seeing testimony from a darker-skinned individual such as yourself, too scared to take the plunge. So here goes. Background: I am a dark-skinned Black woman in her mid-40s who, now off of chemo, is trying to repair the scars (think your worst acne breakout) treatment left behind. I have been on prescription medications for some time with minimal results. Though I am very ingredient-conscious, I am sorry to report that none of the touted natural remedies (aloe, turmeric masks, coconut oil, etc.) have made a difference in my skin.It has been about two weeks since I've started CAIS 3:1 (watery consistency), RE: Pigment (light serum consistency), MMHC ... I have been on prescription medications for some time with minimal results. Though I am very ingredient-conscious, I am sorry to report that none of the touted natural remedies (aloe, turmeric masks, coconut oil, etc.) have made a difference in my skin.It has been about two weeks since I've started CAIS 3:1 (watery consistency), RE: Pigment (light serum consistency), MMHC (regular serum consistency), and SANSKRIT SAPONINS (looks like a champagne-colored toothpaste, but feels like a mousse that goes utterly flat in your hands). I experienced zero sensitivity with either product and should tell you that I apply sunscreen as part of my daily regimen.I wish I were a camera-obsessed millennial who has a talent for recording their daily progress. The texture of my skin is no longer riddled with tiny bumps that noticeably plague my T-zone. Also, my pores are less noticeable and inflamed. The discoloration has decreased significantly. But not by making my face lighter. Instead, it appears that the rough borders of hyperpigmentation are blending out across my face, creating smooth canvas. I love my skin's healthy (aforementioned rash) and youthful appearance (chemo can leave your face a bit weathered). Best of luck to you all on your beautiful beginnings!
Having recently introduced cosmetic derma rolling into my skincare routine, i decided to give NIOD's cocktail of copper peptides a work out. As a repairing / healing serum, it worked beautifully to penetrate and soothe after the micro-needling session. Absorbs very quickly, so I applied it to small sections of my face at a time and worked it in for even distribution. After two weeks..OMG..very smooth and plumped skin. Im hoping longer term use will give my fine lines and wrinkles a workout too. Cautioned not to use copper peptides every day to avoid "the uglies", I alternate every second day with retinoids (PM) and ATIP with resveratrol and ferulic acid (AM).The longer-term benefits are touted to firm skin / improve sag. I'm hopeful continued use will not ... MoreHaving recently introduced cosmetic derma rolling into my skincare routine, i decided to give NIOD's cocktail of copper peptides a work out. I started using an earlier version of the CAIS about four years ago. It was my first foray into serums and trying to up my skincare regime at age 49 from just cleanser+moisturiser. I’m not sure what to say other than my skin just started looking really good after I started using the CAIS. I started to get really interested in skincare as I was turning 50 and watching a lot of YouTube influencers and everyone was banging on about vitamin c and how wonderful it is. Vitamin C and CAIS don’t mix so I dropped the CAIS from my routine. I kept waiting for the “brightening” of the vitamin c to kick in and nothing ever happened. I just felt when I looked in the mirror my skin just didn’t look great-kind of dry, more noticeable pores, a bit blah really. I recently made the ... I just felt when I looked in the mirror my skin just didn’t look great-kind of dry, more noticeable pores, a bit blah really. I recently made the decision to dump the vitamin c and go back to the CAIS-I use it in the morning. I’m so glad I did. After just a few weeks back on the CAIS my skin just looks amazing. It’s hard to describe but my skin just looks fuller and when I look in the mirror I’ve been having a lot of, “wow my skin looks good today” moments. Ordering another bottle now.
This is my 2nd time of trying this product and I think it is great if expensive. It has a subtle effect but has definitely helped my skin look and feel healthier and I could tell the difference when I ran out and didn't re-order for a few months. I use this in the day time a few times a week. It even seems to help my menopausal acne. I read that CAIL is even better and so I took advantage of a great offer on Beauty Bay and I agree, it is even better but perhaps more suited to night time (although I have used it lightly in the day time). I'm very impressed with both CAIS and CAIL and feel they enhance each other and also feel I can do away with all the other serums I've been trying over the last decade, apart from a hydrator such as hyaluronic acid and moisturiser ... I have used CAIS on and off for years now. Whenever I have stopped, it was because of experimenting with other products like acids or vitamin C (not compatible) or the price. However, I always come back yo it as it's one of the few products where I actually see a visible difference on my skin. Oh it's subtle but it's definitely there when you pay attention. I mainly see the difference with how much faster my skin heals from pimples, spots and how much faster pigmentation from scars disappears. I don't really have many signs of aging yet (all hail sunscreen!) so I can't speak to how it works on those. But I can tell that my skin is overall much healthier using this product so I love stocking up during sales.
Love this serum and I had used 2 bottles of 60ml already. I ordered 2 bottles together in the same order. The first bottle I opened and it was quite full (1/4 - 1/2” above the label) but when I opened the second bottle, it was filled only to the top line of the label. I thought it maybe just an accident when they filled it and not their norm. Now I’m trying to restock since my second bottle is running out but saw it is happening to many people according to the reviews. Then now I hesitate to order because I feel like I’m getting less product with such NOT CHEAP price and seems it’s the norm of their products. Especially they did raised their prices. Let me try finding a substitution.
After using the smaller bottle on just my forehead, I decided to order another one because I did notice a reduction in forehead lines after using. However, when I got my new bottle, it was barely filled to the label line. I had the older empty bottle, so I zeroed it out on my ml scale and then placed new one on the scale, and sure enough, around 11ml. I contacted CS with a picture and also these facts, but they have assured me that receiving a 3/4 full bottle is okay, telling me that they measured it out, and it is 15ml despite what my eyes and scale say. This is disappointing as this product is not cheap. Does it work? Yes, it does, but I think I will wait for a sale next time seeing as you can end up with a small bottle sometimes.
