Nioxin System 2 Duo 1L

the first time i used still product you really feel the peppermint tingly on your scalp and back. Peppermint smell is powerful but dont worry your hair wont smell like peppermint the next day. It does have a natural peppermint smell. The shampoo is easy to use it lathers up nicely and remove well oils and product built up. I do feel like my hair was more shiny and healthy looking after using the product for 30 days. I only noticed a slight decrease in fallouts. If you have thinning hair i do recommend these products, i feel like it helps keep your hair strong and thick and improving your scalp health. This shampoo does a fantastic job of cleaning my scalp. It has a very nice eucalyptus/menthol scent that I enjoy. I used this shampoo for several weeks in order to see if I would benefit from said benefits. My scalp felt tingly after working it it, and my hair felt clean, as if I had used a clarifying shampoo. I do have to admit that my hair did feel a little dry but the conditioner that came with it made it feel hydrated and soft. One of the biggest things that I noticed was how the shampoo reduced the amount of hair loss I was used to losing in the shower. I saw a significant reduction of of about 85%. I had gastric bypass and I have lost a serious amount of hair. I was advised by my dermatologist to try Nioxin, and was excited to try it. I have to say that I noticed within a couple days that I stopped losing so much hair and now I am only losing a normal amount due to showering and styling. I enjoy the light minty sent and it leaves my hair soft and healthy looking. I also have noticed two weeks after starting Nioxin that my hair looks like it is thicker to the point a friend asked what I was doing to my hair to make it thicker. I think this has alot to do with using all 3 products shampoo, conditioner, and the scalp and hair treatment together. I would advise anyone with thinning hair to try this product.

Even though I have long hair, I have thinning hair near my temples or towards the front of my head with a thinning hairline in the front and towards the top of my head mostly due to an autoimmune thyroid disease condition. I am reviewing this as a whole system, not individual products bc I think it’s important to use all 3 pieces together in order to get the best result. This was not quite as good as I expected, although it certainly helped. I suspect I need system 2 or 3 to have it make a serious impact. But it did give my hair more volume and brought back some of the curls I had somehow lost. It also helped with hair fall a little (again, I just think I need a stronger system) and I can feel new growth on my scalp. I would highly recommend this, but I would absolutely say to make sure you get the right system for your hair, don’t underestimate just how strong of one you need!

I have been using this a little over a week and already notice my hair changing in thickness, so it works. the 3-step system is minty. I use the shampoo, conditioner and leave in step 3 daily and experience no irritation or drying effects. the first day or so, my scalp sometimes itched in random places but it doesn't anymore. my hair is definitely thicker. I can tell when I pull my hair back in a ponytail, there's more hair to grab. I hate that this has parabens and color in it though. I might buy again if I notice a substantial difference when I go back to my old hair stuff when this runs out.

Not sure why Influenster sent me this as I have thick hair and no issues with thinning whatsoever. I have no way of knowing if it would help with thinning. So I will just review it based on how it made my hair look and feel after a wash (in tandem with their conditioner). It did feel like it did a great job of cleaning my hair. My hair also looked pretty healthy and shiny afterwards but maybe that was due to the conditioner. Would I use this as a regular shampoo if it were just a normal shampoo? Probably not. The mint smell is very strong and has a medicinal component to it that I find unpleasant.

I’ve used the shampoo several times now. I have not noticed much change in my hair yet, but am hopeful that with continuous use I will notice improvement on some slight thinning I have going on. I do get a minty sensation? on my scalp after I applying it, I don’t know how to describe that. It almost feels like I’ve poured listerine over my head. It does not cause burning or discomfort so I have continued to use. I did noticed I do not loose as much hair during the shower. I will try to post an update if I notice any other changes.

I have never heard of this brand and was a little worried about using it. I was alittle confused because on the post card that came in the voxbox says it’s for thick hair. But on the bottles it says light thinning. Also when I used it I didn’t like how it made my hair feel while and after use. I’m not sure how to even describe it. But it gave my hair like synthetic feel to it. My husband made a joke saying it smelled like toothpaste lol. My hair is thick and curly and I didn’t feel like this brand suited my hair texture. I definitely will not be buying this. But this my opinion. What doesn’t work for me may work for others. It’s definitely a big no for me.

As long as you can handle or don't mind the sensation that it gives your scalp that lasts longer than it probably should (and air blowing by you intensifies that cooling sensation like when you eat a strong peppermint and inhale through your mouth) then this product would be ideal for you.
