I wouldn't say i have thinning hair at all, but my hairdresser recommended this as a way of boosting fine/flat hair. I use this the night before i wash and apply direct to the root and massage in, I noticed a difference in my hair thickness almost instantly! Cannot recommend more.

This product definitely brings the blood to the skin. After shower I brushed my hair and the product got on my neck and chest and became very red very quickly! It took a few hours to settle so be aware, cover your shoulders with a towel!!
After using nioxin in the past, I chose to try this treatment to really give my hair a boost over the winter months ! The product feels lovely on the scalp and like it’s actually doing something to the hair follicle unlike other products I’ve tried in the past . I will probably use this again in a few weeks as a top up . I have always thought Nioxin is worth the price and recommend to anyone especially people with fine, thinning hair . But also for people with thicker hair who just want to to treat their scalp!
I really like this brand of hair products, and since I have PCOS, I would suggest it to other women with the same condition. The treatment can make your hair feel kind of dry like the feeling of hairspray, but it's not a big deal. I suggest using it when your hair is a little wet and before going to sleep because it'll wash off in the morning when you shower.
I've been using the Nioxin treatment system for about 9 months and my hairstylist and I have seen lots of new growth since then. I am very liberal when applying the scalp treatment, which is why I go through it way faster than the shampoo and conditioner and have ordered this 6-pack twice now.
