Nioxin System 5 Scalp Treatment 100ml 100 ml

I received this in a 3 Part Nioxin System and was skeptical at first. So many products out there claim to help with thinning hair. Well I enjoy using the Shampoo as it leaves my hair feeling soft (well the combo does when used togetherl. I enjoy the shampoo's minty aroma as I find it to be very refreshing. I'm unsure how I feel about the tingly feeling well as part of me likes it and feels like it's working. Yet the other part of me worries. I think that's just me being a worrywart since I didn't have thinning hair until getting the covid vaccine. It's safe for color treated hair and I've had no problems with it. I would recommend it. Although I can't really say if it helps with thinning hair until using it a bit longer. So far so good though.

I received this product for free from Nixon and Influenster in exchange for my honest review. So I will say I do not know how I ended up trying the kit for thinning hair because I do have extra thick hair but I did go ahead and try out the kit so here are my thoughts on the conditioner. So it started out good with the shampoo then the conditioner I thought it was going to be pretty good as well. The smell was definitely stronger that the shampoo. Then it was basically like the Vicks shower tab. So I was thinking this is kinda great at clearing out the sinuses as well, which it is spring allergy season so great. That is about the time the burning started. I do normally brush through my hair with conditioner on it and I quickly regretted doing so. The best was to describe the sensation was as if someone dumped icy hot on my head and that was what I was washing my hair with. It was not a great feeling at all. After try the whole kit my hair felt very brittle and I was even after to blow dry. I did end up finally using some my normal hair care products to help. I will not be using this again. I definitely caution those with Thinning hair.

smells wonderful there is no medicated smell to it but once you use it you can feel medication treating not only your hair but your scalp. I've had really bad dandruff that I have been fighting for the last year and finally found something that treated it nearly instantly. within 2 days it was gone. my hair is voluminous but also thin. meaning I have a looot of hair but it is not what I would call healthy thick locks. more like frail strands that are continually getting split ends even shortly after a trim. I have been using this whole kit the shampoo, condition er and scalp treatment for about 2 weeks now and I actually am really surprised and will definitely buy this. this time it was sent to me free of charge for my honest review and to be honest I don't see a ... Moresmells wonderful there is no medicated smell to it but once you use it you can feel medication treating not only your hair but your scalp. I love this conditioner as well as the shampoo! I am seeing positive results with these products. The smell of peppermint is not something that bothers me I actually enjoy it. I know others don’t seem to like it much. I like that my hair doesn’t seem to be too rough and tangled with this conditioner. I have used some that leave the hair very tangled and hard to manage. Only issue I have is that the product won’t last me that long. It’s not too expensive to repurchase unless your gonna repurchase the entire Nioxin System which is probably the best thing in order to get the results of thicker hair. Overall I do recommend as I have noticed a bit of change in my very thin color treated hair which is great!

I have loved this product! I must say, I have only used this conditioner along with the whole system (shampoo, conditioner, treatment), but I LOVE it as a system. I really feel like the scalp and hair treatment is really the secret sauce of the system. I enjoyed the fresh, menthol minty smell and refreshing cooling feeling on my scalp! I did notice some scalp redness after using the treatment, but it sounds like that can be normal as it increases blood flow to the scalp. I did notice some hair regrowth, especially around my hairline! Please note that I did color my hair, which is why it is lighter in the after. But overall, I am very happy with this product! I would definitely purchase the three step system! *I received this product for free for testing purposes.*

I'm not sure why this system was chosen for me (but I'm definitely not complaining!), as my hair is colored, but not chemically treated. I shed a ton of hair daily, but thinning is not really a concern for me, as it never looks thinner (except for that time a few years ago when my hair rejected a color like half of it broke off). I was excited to try this system anyway with the hopes of healthier hair. I double shampooed with this. I felt a slight cold burn on my scalp, but it was tolerable it felt like it was doing good things for my scalp. Unfortunately, when I tried the conditioner, it burned like chiz I had to wash it off immediately. I will use the rest of this bottle of shampoo, as it didn't irritate my scalp it did make my hair feel soft smooth, even after ... MoreI'm not sure why this system was chosen for me (but I'm definitely not complaining!), as my hair is colored, but not chemically treated. I have also been using the shampoo and conditioner. I have thin fine hair with highlights. Let me tell you this stuff has a menthol tingle to it. It actually kind of hurt the first couple times i used it. This product is only for the scalp. It's easy to use. I just kept parting my hair and spayed the treatment directly onto the scalp. The container has a user friendly tip/nozzle on the end making it easier for the product to be applied on the scalp and not all over the hair itself. This treatment is watery and not thick at all. I can get the product distributed evenly over my scalp when the hair is towel dried and not dripping wet. I loved that there wasn't a sticky residue or a heavy feeling to my hair after I used my hair dryer. I'm not really sure if I noticed a ... MoreI have also been using the shampoo and conditioner. I'm not really sure if I noticed a different in hair growth in the last 3 months while using the Nioxin System. I did notice a difference within 2 months of not this hair treatment my hair felt less healthy. When I got out of the shower there was more hair around the drain my brush was full of hair again and just looked awful. With all the money I spend on having my hair cut and colored, or buying products that promise voluminous hair with one use. I wasn't going to have any hair left. I started using the thinning hair line treatments immediately. I only use this product 3 or 4 times a week now its mostly for maintenance. The Nioxin hair line really works!! You just have to use the products consistently and stick with them. I wish I would have found this sooner.

Great conditioner, noticed a difference after a few months

This conditioner is great and works well. I have been using for a few months and have started to notice a difference, my hair seems to have less breakage when brushing & considerable less fall when washing. Conditioner smells lovely, quite minty & refreshing. I use it with the shampoo & mousse and this is my go to now and will only use this conditioner.
