Excellent for my work, inExcellent for my work, in confine space and narrow areas. I wanted to use the Military "L" Torchlight, but it's too bulky for my needs. Though the MT21C cost much higher, but it's so much smaller in size.I like the adhere strength of the tail cap magnetic base. It holds the flashlight perfectly in place where an accidental bulge won't cause it to drop though a stronger push will.Additionally there is an option to hang it as there is a D-ring, which is not particularly large or bulky and its shape does not allow it to rotate completely around the head of the flashlight. On the opposite side of the D-ring, you can see a shaft that allows you to rotate the flashlight head from 0° to 90°. I always wanted a hybrid throw and flood light. The reflector is perfectly aligned for my wants and needs. Throw to reach deeper locations, and Flood to illuminate the surrounding dark environment for better clarity as I suffer from night myopia, some Flood is definitely good, while purely Throw isn't practical and purely Flood isn't useful.A great useful utility industrial work light!

Remember the terrible L-Torch we used in army? It was supposed to be useful if we didn't have to blacktape it for tactical lighting. It was not very hardy either. The MT21C is the proper L torch to have. At its lowest brightness, it comes close to the useless tactical light setting. Otherwise, it pumps out up to a useful 1000 lumens, has strobe light settings and is a proper hardy torch.Even in bright mid-day daylight, the light is rather visible, with the strobe setting useful enough to notify others. Especially overseas where it can get pitch black. I'd trust this - toughness, size and form factor, over the army one any day.

I was happy with this flashlight while it worked for simple fact that the magnetic base and adjustable head were super useful to me every day at work. I like the holster that you can Velcro to your belt and easily access the light with another Velcro strap. I still use the holder today, but unfortunately the light shorted out in just a few weeks. It started by shutting off whenever it was placed on its mag base, and then got to the point that it would shut off whenever it was just held in place by the magnet, even if I gingerly let it seat. Now it’s completly shorted out and I have to figure out how to replace the ribbon cable that moves when the head flexes. The led was clearly visible and dominant in the center of the shine, not diffused to create an even lightened area. I order the klarus flex head recently to replace this light, hopefully it’s a better drop.

The best and only EDC light I will ever carry. Does all of the functions I will ever need.5 brightness settings. CheckSOS and strobe settings. CheckMagnetic base. CheckHead that rotates for a work light. Check. But for all of the great things packed into one light, how on earth is it not rechargeable? It’s the only thing this light is missing and it’s a real oversight. However the light itself is so good that I’ll deal with the minor inconvenience of removing the battery to charge.
This light is great! I am a QA inspector and I bought this light for work. The 4 brightness levels, magnetic base and 90 degree pivoting head are the perfect set of features that I was looking for. It also came with a belt holster and pocket clip which makes it easy to carry all day long. The lanyard that was included is nice, but there is not a convenient place to attach it. The light has a half ring attached that is just under the pivoting head. The ring moves back and forth and the location makes it an awkward place to attach the lanyard. Otherwise, the light is perfect and I'm glad I bought it.
NITECORE MT21C 1000 Lumen Multitask 90 Degree Adjustable FlashlightThis is a great product. I really like the tiltable head with the magnetic tail. It's very versatile and bright but for some reason they made the power button default to the lowest brightness every time you turn it on. Every time you power it on you have to cycle through the modes to get to a useable brightness instead of it remembering the level you want to use. This makes it unusable for any tactical applications. I wanted it to be my every day carry light but this design mistake makes that very unlikely. So i can only give it 3 stars.
I have had the MT21C right angle flashlight for over a year. Like it so much for the versatility of uses bought another one for a gift. Like the magnetic base and being able to angle the head to shine light where I need it. I also like the 1 lumen output when on low. Perfect to see with when I wake up from a sleep in the middle of the night.
Have owned Surefire lights for years...well made...functional(mostly) andvery expensive...received my Nitecore MT21C lights and they are truly amazing productsfor what they cost!!!Save your money for other needs and try a Nitecore light...you will not bedissappointed....!!Initially bought two for myself...have since bought 4 more for gifts..!!!Thom Mauck
I have had this flashlight for a few years now and use it almost daily. I work nights as an EMT, and the many features on this light have made it utterly indispensable.I commonly use it as a clip-on body light, however it does flop around if you are moving. I wish there was some sort of lateral stabilization, like a fold- or slide-out piece on the clip that would shape it like a T, to reduce the lateral flopping when worn as a body light, but then still remain slim when stowed away again so it can be stored in the holster. The hanging clip is nice, though I personally do not use it much if at all, and I kind of wish it could be removed or attached as needed. Maybe it could stow on the body itself, and sort of be clipped into one of the grooves or something.I do ... MoreI have had this flashlight for a few years now and use it almost daily. This flashlight is well thought out and engineered with a broad spectrum of uses in mind. There are a number of luminance levels: Unlike other lights I own, this one actually has a very dim setting and equal steps between the levels leading up to a very bright turbo mode. The button is held to turn the led on/off, then clicked to change brightness. Or you can double click to activate the S.O.S. and strobe modes. The strobe is very bright and fast.I'm a video engineer and two things I use constantly are the magnetic base and the swivel head. This light can be stuck to the inside of equipment racks, to the side of my truck, or clipped to my shirt. It's lightweight, but feels sturdy. The battery must be removed in order to be recharged. I assume this design removes the need for a charging port on the light, making it submersible (I haven't gotten it wet yet). All in all, this flashlight checks all the boxes in terms of usability for me, which I expect in this price range, but it's really nice to have all of these features in such a small, lightweight package.
