I used my NB 10000 power Bank along with my Nitecore NU 25 Ul headlamp, IPhone and Garmin watch on a recent backpacking trip. Was able to recharge my phone and watch a couple of times (headlamp did not need recharging) and it still showed 3 lights for the amount of power left. I’m more than pleased with the performance of the Nitecore products. I would highly recommend them.

Although the dimensions are the same from that of first generation, this current model appears to be even more streamlined with a bit more elegance. Now you are able to easily distinguish the current status of charge effortlessly and the yellow border that surrounds both the USB and USBC output ports enhances /compliments the black carbon fiber case. This is truly a remarkable lighter and compact power bank compared to others of the 10000mAh capacity as this is easily fits in my 4Lmini sling. The first generation now permanently resides in my EDC pouch. This winter, I recently ordered a Nitecore NB10,000 Gen 2 Quick-Charge power bank for a 3,500km through-hike. After testing the power bank, I could charge my iPhone 11 twice, as well as two total charges for my smartwatch. I am very impressed with the extremely light weight of the product, and the compact size makes this an easy-to-include essential tool!

I have the Gen.1 and let my sister borrow it for a day because she couldn’t find hers. She came back to me asking where I bought it so she could get one too. Since it was almost Christmas, I got the Gen. 2 for her and she’s been using it daily even though she found her other one.Highly recommend for the fast charge and lightweightness. And if you always have one, it makes a great gift for anyone!
Purchased two for a camping trip in Colorado. They both worked flawlessly and we found ourselves using them for far kore than just camping. In the car, on the airplane, when we couldn’t find enough outlets at the hotel. Would highly recommend.

Had 2 of them before and love them because they are so light weight and compact, perfect for hiking and backpacking trips where every pound counts when you have to carry a lot of gear.The ones I got before came with 2 separate cords, and one of them fit my iphone 10. Please be aware that the one that you can order from the Nitecore store only comes with one cord that will not connect to iphone. It will fit an Android device but you need a separate cord to charge an iphone. I contacted the store about this and got a very prompt reply (great service!) confirming only one cord. They recommonded using the iphone cord from my older Nitecore NB10,000’s. Luckily I still had that cord, otherwise I would not be able to use the power bank to charge my ... MoreLove this power bank. I recently had an Anker power bank that bloated after about a year of use, the customer service sucked as did the shipping fiasco that ensued! This NiteCore NB10000 is aesthetically pleasing, quality exudes from its appearance and the narrator is a big dumb fart! Buy one !
The Nitecore Store was very easy to work with. They answered my questions and promptly processed my order. It arrived on time about 3 days later. I haven't had a chance to use it backpacking, but testing it out charging my Nitecore headlamp and phone was a breeze. It charged everything very quickly. The most impressive feature was how lightweight this battery charger is. I would highly recommend this product for the limited time I've used it.
This brick is nice but it failed on me. It operated fine to keep my iPhone charged during a long flight to CA. I topping it off at the hotel and put it in my backpack for a five day backpacking trip. On day Three of the hike I tried to charge my phone and camera but it appeared discharged when I went to use it. Just one blue blinking LED and then turned off. The only thing I can think of is that the ON button may have gotten continuously depressed as it was in my backpack. I have charged it and used it again flying home just fine, but it failed me when I really needed it on the hike. Is my theory above sound? Will it discharge if the button is held in?
This worked really well.In my unscientific home testing, this charged my Iphone X twice from almost zero to full charge.I am a Scout leader and we are just back from an 11 day trek in New Mexico (IWTGBTP !!). In the field, I had to keep 2 continuous glucose monitors, a GPS, and an insulin pump device manager charged. I used a solar charger during the day, and charged devices at night. No problems. Used the same power bank for 12 straight days without issue. (disclaimer: we had plenty of sunshine for the solar charger--results may vary). I did have an additional power bank for back up, but never needed it.I would strongly recommend this. Kind of pricey, but you get what you pay for. The bang for the weight made it very worthwhile.ToddH
