I love my P20iX! My neighborhood has minimal lighting and I needed a light brighter with more flood when I walk my dog. It’s liter than I thought it would be and does get warm on turbo mode quickly but I guess that’s the nature of the technology. Love how it regulates itself and ramps down after certain points, should help with longevity. Lastly, I was worried my discount wouldn’t be applied due to how the website finalized my order, but the customer service team applied it nonetheless and I felt taken care of as a customer. This light is the bees knees and I’ll be ordering a few more for family soon. Oh and the strobe feature and solid design could be a great “backup off me” for people who prefer to avoid firearms.

A nice to have EDC flashlight. In Mid mode is best for brightening up the tarmac and the High mode throw is capable of reaching the vertical stabilizer tip of a wide body aircraft. Hopefully this flashlight can last me for more than 2 years.Hopefully Nitecore can comes out with a TM9K size 4000 lumens zoomable len flashlight that covers flood and throw.Currently the hybrid model i own so far… TM20K that covers flood and throw. Good to have but size wise not practical, due bulky and heavy.

The P20iX is an extension of myself. Not really but I don't ever not have it on my hip except when I go to bed. I love everything about it and it continues to impress every person who gets to witness it's amazingness. On top of being the being such an amazing EDC flashlight, Nitecore outdoes themselves with 20 dollars off, just because! Anyone can use the promo code that they provide. That's just awesome business. It's easily the best 100 dollars I've spent. If I HAD to criticize, gun to my head, I's say the P20iX should come with one of those awesome rechargeable batteries with the C port in the battery. I'm still blown away with that. i want to get one of those so bad.

I brought a P12 with me to Afghanistan (former army Blackhawk pilot). I used it during preflights and the crew chiefs all immediately bought their own after seeing mine. They just started calling it "the sun" (... as in .. "sir can you bust out the sun for a sec, we dropped a gearbox fairing nut"). I kept it in my calf cargo pocket and while flying it was sometimes quicker to pull the P12 out rather than slew the clunky searchlight (didn't do that very often because we mostly flew with NVGs, but the few times I did, the thing illuminated very well if we were low enough)My P12 has seen better days but is still working fantastically - that said, I figured it was time to upgrade after about 10 years, and as always, nitecore delivers. I can't say enough about these flashlights. This is my third one and I don't plan on needing to find another brand. Great battery life and very versatile. Strobe is super strong. Only thing I dislike is the holster it comes with. I see the belt clip breaking in a short amount of time as it is made with very flimsy plastic, but it works for now.
I like this light very much, however the included belt clip leaves much to be desired. The clip is somewhat flimsy. It is advertised as being MOLLE compatible, however the space between the clip and the body of the holster is so wide that the entire holster will flop around when attached to MOLLE. In addition, there are removable spacers included to adapt the holster to different width belts. I attempted to use one of these with my 2.5" patrol duty belt, but the adapter fell out within 2 minutes of me putting it on. I wish Nitecore would offer this light with the upgraded and lockable holster instead of wasting money on the holster included.
Ordered on Nitecore web site, extremely fast shipping. Read instruction manual, charged and put this light to work. This light exceeds my expectations, and does exactly what Nitecore states. Over many years have never had a flashlight that is so user friendly, with all the bells and whistles. Looking for an outstanding flashlight, that, “Lights up the World”, look no further.
The PROS are that this light is awesome as far as brightness, runtime, and overall performance. I really like the TSL10I Signal Tailcap option for team identification.I even like the included holster because the light can clip in either head-side-up, or head-side-down. The only CON that I found is the same one I have seen from others, the holster does not swivel. I often use the swivel feature on my Nite-Ize holsters, but I prefer the clip-in functionality of the Nitecore NTH20 holster.I purchased this light primarily because I wanted a bright FLOODY light. Next light will be a THROWY light, maybe the P30i.
The flashlight is very bright when you go to the turbocharged power. It's not bad but it's a little bit of a learning curve to figure out how to manipulate it in the different modes. I'm thinking if it was in a quick reaction situation it might be a little more difficult to maneuver. Now I can't tell you a better way to do it but then again I'm not a flashlight designer. Maybe this is the way. The size and weight are great, the ability to recharge is great, plus the charge level feature is great. Great feature to be waterproof if using it hunting in wet areas. Would also like the ability to focus tighter. Wide angle to zoom at various levels. All in all a winning light. I would recommend this to a friend for a great variable brightness light in a small package.
The flashlight is as bright as it can be, there is a difference between the 1700 and the 4k lumens but not a whole lot, I would expect that it should at least be 2 to 3 times brighter from the 1700 lumens. I also found either dirt or burn mark (rings) around the LED. LED is indeed very bright and get hot pretty quickly. I just wished there were no signs of burn marks or dirt around the LED since this is after all a brand new flash light.
