It packs a good bit of power for its size. 720 lumens that fits in your 5th coin pocket. If you remove the tail cap, the light will tail stand and is magnetic. That’s the good stuff. Now, for the bad:Good luck getting that magnetic tail cap off, if you remove the chain clip it comes with. And if you do remove the tail cap to use the magnet, make sure it’s not on a damp or dirty surface. Removing the tail cap not only exposes the magnet, it also exposes the charging port...to moisture, dust, and dirt.I wouldn’t put much trust into the pocket clip. For me, the UI is not great for an edc light. The two buttons are right next to each other and you’ll probably find yourself pressing the button that you’re not trying to use. Great light but battery is non-replaceable.Bought this when it first came out. very bright, sturdy, small. Had it for 2 years as my EDC but now the batteries do not hold charge. contacted the CSO and was told not much to can be done as warranty is over. Its a shame as the LEDs are still in good condition. But I was offered a promocode for my next purchase. The black paint along the edges gets rubbed off fairly easily tho.

TIP 2 is the world's best keychain flashlight. It could be improved with the inclusion of a lanyard for those like myself who prefer that over a keychain. I lost the one I'd had for a few years, and went looking for a replacement on the website, but that proved rather hard to do, in fact I thought maybe the TIP 2 was no longer available. Took a fair amount of poking around before I found it. Point is, website is not easy to navigate even when you know what you're looking for.

I bought this as an EDC Light. A great EDC at that. At the same size as a 9v battery, just abit longer, it fits perfectly in my jeans 5th pocket, with room to spare. This IS a Bright Little Light. I'm not sure it is as bright, or, has the throw that is claimed, But, it might, And, I'm probably just spoiled by my P20i. Lol. ..I can't imagine you can find a brighter, more versatile light at this size though. And I am Extremely Happy with my Tip 2. I was originally worried about the tail cap/cover not being secure, and coming loose, but after receiving my light, it's No Longer a Concern. The light's magnets, Hold + Keep, the cap/cover Very Secure. There is a slight 1-2 second delay built in when pressing the buttons, but I knew this, and it is noticable, but,... Really ... First..As far as nitecorestore is concerned I couldn't be happier. Fast prompt shipping and communication.Secondly...The Tini2 was exactly what I expected and it IS Genuine, not some cheap knock-off, one of the main reasons I Purchased it from an authorized dealer. I was using the Tini 2017 but two of the screws fell out due to the plastic frame inside cracking. This Tini2 is built totally different. It's much more durable, has double the lumens and is actually waterproof. I also like the fact that it has a magnetic tail. The buttons are recessed better than on the Tini 2017 to prevent it from turning on in your pocket. The only thing I don't like is that the tail cap is difficult to remove due to the very powerful magnets, but I guess it has to be that way so it ... Had it for a year on my keychain. Excellent turbo mode. No problems with accidental activation at all - recessed buttons. Battery degradation was slow. Black metal case had a lot of scratches due to my lifestyle. There are two major problems that came up:After a year of use the magnets were not as strong as the were when new - likely some dirt too. It fell off few times when I took my keys out of my pocket. Unfortunately, on the third time I did not notice when it fell off and I lost it.I loved the light but I will not buy it again. After a year of use I will likely lose it again due to magnetic attraction degrading. Also High Power does not last as long as advertised.Magnets - extremely helpful. Needed a small, flat, rechargeable, powerful light for motorcycle camping trips. As a work light its great, mouth holding is comfortable, magnetic attachment is handy, throws plenty of light in a useable pattern.I can fix the bike, rummage through my luggage, or set up camp in the dark, all easy as pie. A small ring on my belt loop keeps it handy and out of the way.In a perfect world I would wish that it turned on a little faster, the switch delay can be annoying. I would also prefer a less harsh light, this is better than many, but a more yellow tint is easier on my eyes. Likely this would come at the cost of some lumens, so I’m not sure I wouldn’t end up choosing it as is if given opportunity to test both options. To sum up, for general usefulness this thing ... I am quite liking this powerful little light so far. Three main brightness levels is the perfect number, plus 1-button access to turbo is all I need from an EDC. Memory for last setting means I don’t have to cycle through it every time I fire it up (the one lumen low setting is actually the one I use most). Size-wise, it’s about as big as I would want a keychain like to be. Haven’t had occasion to use the magnet yet, but I’m glad it’s there. All in all I’m very happy with this.
Highly recommend this perfect sized quality rechargeable keychain light. Removable clip & magnetic fob a real plus. Only drawback is the yellowish halo when used close up. Noticeable only on the higher output settings. Nice if it had an emergency beacon and SOS option. Overall am very pleased with Nitecore. Still using my two TM16's which have held up well throughout many years of use. Nitecore products are a benchmark in quality performance.
To be honest I’m massively impressed.I was a little nervous waiting for my shipment to arrive, I’m up in Canada and besides, online purchases can sometimes really let down. When the light arrives and I opened it up I was stunned. Nothing disappointed. The quality of the build, the fit in the hand, the weight, size, and functionality are exactly how I pictured the product being. Since I can’t give it more than a five star rating, I’ll be buying a few more round Christmas time for friends and family.Great product, timely delivery, met expectations, and the rest of the inventory on the Nitecore store looks super awesome too! I look forward to future designs and you may have earned a lifetime customer!Cheers Nitecore,
