I can’t explain how much I love this stuff. I think I buy a new bottle in the extra large size once every few months. So I used to be a big Sephora girl when it came to moisturizers. I liked the brands Sol De Janerio, Quai, and Moroccan Oil. One day I was in a pinch and grabbed a travel size of the NIVEA at CVS. That was it for me!! Out of all of the moisturizers I’ve tried this is the one that lasts on the skin, actually absorbs in the skin, and also gives you that glow without needing oil on top. It feels great to put on and smells so good I get compliments all the time. The best part is that this is so affordable and easily accessible. Try this over anything else, I promise you will thank me later.

I use this in combination with the Nivea body wash and I'd recommend both. I've got skin issues and the Nivea brand works better for me than any other. I do though have a couple of tips while using this lotion. First, when I use this I wet my hands. I do because it is very thick and doesn't want to spread easily. It will also absorb much more quickly this way. Even more, you won't need to use as much (but you won't sacrifice the moisture it provides, thus the softness of your skin). Secondly, I can't stress enough that it works great together with the same brand body wash. With it, your skin comes out of the shower already feeling softened. The plus side of both products is that they're much more inexpensive than other brands. I have really liked the Nivea products that I have tried over the years. My first Nivea lotion was the Essentially Enriched lotion in the blue bottle. This lotion was very moisturizing. I live in Minnesota and the cold winters here make for some really dry skin. Nivea Essentially Enriched Lotion solved that problem! The one thing I didn't care for was the smell. It left something to be desired. That's the only thing that kept me from buying the Essentially Enriched Lotion again. The smell may not bother most of you like it did me. It is a wonderful lotion and I would recommend it.

Claims don't hold up

I've tried this religiously over the past few months and feel I've used it enough to warrant a good review of it. I have very dry skin which is what this is supposed to be for. I do feel it's a bit heavy which worried me for absorption but it does absorb very well. Scent is nice and light. Skin is moisturized almost sufficiently after immediate use. My biggest issue is this says it's made for very dry skin. This has a claim on the bottle of "48 hr moisture" I believe they had a typo here because it's enough for about 48 minutes. It does NOT last long AT ALL, so unfortunately I cannot recommend this.

GREAT! Just not a Summer Lotion

I like the way the Essentially Enriched lotion from Nivea penetrates the skin and seems to "heal" cracked, dry skin from the inside out. It DOES have a noticeable "sheen" to it that is visible on the skin. Some may like that, others not. I'm ambivalent about it. Because I can feel and see the difference in my skin, especially my hands, which I wash FREQUENTLY. Essentially Enriched didn't wash away after one or two hand washings like other lotions. This is good. Also, bad in the sense that it may not be recommended as a SUMMER lotion... On the back of the navy blue bottle is a "skin feeling" meter. Runs from "Light" to "Rich". Of course, as the name would suggest, Essentially Enriched maxes out at 5 moisture drop symbols (as opposed to 5 stars). You will undoubtedly perspire more profusely wearing this lotion. The fact that I despise being hot, and sweating, speaks to the quality of this lotion that I would keep it %26 continue to use it.Oh, and did I mention? I'm a guy. The scent is mild and neutral enough for me, and I like that a little goes a LONG way. After a shower, I can cover myself from head to toe with just a few button presses on the Essentially Enriched pump bottle. Excellent for hands amd feet.Go ahead, buy it, just be aware it's thick, and will likely induce some extra perspiration during the summer months. Would only put on my face really in the winter (live in Southeast New York, average winter temps 35-45° ). Hope this perspective from a cost-conscious male helps someone in their decision as they "sit on the fence".

Incredible product!

I jumped on this just because I was looking for something else better & I saw the last bottle of this in this shelf. So I went with my instincts & man am I glad I did! Immediately I felt the difference! The feel & the texture was amazing & wonderful! I knew immediately I had finally found a lotion that would work for me! Even outside when other lotions dried up on my skin, this didn’t! I knew I had a winner! This will be my go to from now on & I can’t wait to try other products! Yes it’s a little pricier than other lotions, but it’s well worth it! Definitely buy & use with confidence! Check for coupons! You will not be disappointed!

Just one thing...

I love this lotion, it's a good deal, super moisturizing, MAKES YOUR BODY GLOWWWWW like no other lotion. The only thing that annoys me is the scent. Idk it just smells like when you walk into someone's office and they only have leather furniture, or kinda like what I imagine Annie's grandpa from parent trap to smell like (even tho in the movie it says he smells like peppermint and pipe tobacco, THIS DOES NOT SMELL LIKE THAT AT ALL BUT IDK i just think he would smell like this lotion) It doesn't really last but man, I just hate it lmfao. I wish this version was unscented. I will continue to repurchase tho. I just layer body spray or perfume as soon as I'm done lotioning my skin with this.
