Love your original WITH Alcohol... It has been my favorite for years!! It was nice n fresh, left great scent and wasn't greasy!!! It would evaporate, could use a little extra and didn't have to worry about greasy, greasy...However, the new stuff is like putting on sun tan lotion!!!..., it does eventually go way but not the same feel and not the same smell. It does leave a white smear at first but eventually fades. The fragrance on the original was lasting nice and refreshing.. this stuff has limited dwell time and just doesn't last.Not the same, bring back the original !!! Instead, it auto-populated 5 stars and I did not realize it until my review was published. Nothing in my review has changed. I am resubmitting to reflect a 1-star review.I love the Nivea Men's line of product. I use the shave cream, post shave balm and post shave lotion - all for sensitive skin. The recent change in formula for the post shave balm missed the mark. I am not certain of what the goal was, but now it is a terrible, non-absorbing balm. It isn't even a good lotion. I am hoping I am not alone when asking that the previous formula be brought back. It was far superior to the current formula.

This is the second time in the last 2 months I’ve come to write this review. The first time, I saw someone already complained about the heavy, greasy new formula and Nivea responded that they’d be going back to the lighter formula I always enjoyed. I suffered through the bottle of what I had, but it lasted far longer than normal since I’d just use a very small amount and mix with water to avoid the sticky white mask effect. I finally got through it, bought a new bottle and used it for the first time this morning. I think it somehow got worse. I rubbed it in my hands and it looked like glue. I don’t plan to fall for it again.

I have been using these new purchases all week (#25019257 bottle number) after shaving and during the day to refresh my skin. I have noticed this particular batch is oily and when applied will leave a thick white residue on my face. After a period of time this residue will dissipate, but it is nowhere close to the formula I'm use to with other purchases. Was this reformulated of maybe a bad batch? I believe I purchased these 2 bottles from either Target or Walmart. I do not want to return them to either location (this will make me feel like a total lowlife who wants his $14 back). I received product reimbursement in exchange for my honest review. From a Womans POV, this smells AMAZING. My husband used this and it works great. A little dab goes a LONG way. The container 🫙 is glass and the lid is a twist off that locks into place. It's doesn't contain alcohol so there is no burning or stinging. The ingredients listed seem to be mindful of those with sensitive skin. He said it really helped calm his razors 🪒 bumps after a super close shave. Overall, it's a great product that really stretches. For just $7, you can't beat it!
I have bought the "old" Sensitive Post Shave Balm for years. It could not be beat. Clean, moisturizing, and refreshing. Not so the "new" product.The "new" formula has an undesirable "feel", not clean, moisturizing, nor refreshing.Since the ingredients listed on the box are the same, I have to assume the difference originates in the boast on the new box "Formulated without parabens" . Parabens have been used for over 100 years in products in very small amounts. If this is the reason, please go back to including it in your formula. If that is not the reason, whatever has been changed, reverse the decision. Remember the "New Coke" fiasco?I will no longer purchase Nivea Sensitive Post Shave Balm-an old friend.You had a great product.
I’m a man in my so called golden years. What that really means is dried out skin and blemishes. Or at least that’s what’s happening to my friends of the same age. So one day they asked what was I doing to keep my face looking so smooth. So we compared notes. The one thing I do that they don’t…. I use Nivea products. Balms, lotions, shaving cream, anything and everything that moisturizes. Forget the alcohol. You want this balm…. Not for what it’ll do for you today but what it’ll do for you in the years to come. Moisturizing isn’t just for women.
I received product reimbursement in exchange for my honest review. My husband has sensitive skin, and he really needs to make sure to take care of his skin and use products that won't irritate him. This lotion did not irritate him at all. It was so soothing and made his skin feel so moisturized and comforted. This is definitely going to be his go-to after shave product. The Nivea brand definitely makes high quality products that we trust. A little bit goes a long way too, which means it is a good value. I would highly recommend this excellent post-shave balm lotion!

I am older and have been using the Nivea Sensitive or its variation for years. The sensitive unsented what what I first started with then it was not being made and had to go with your lightly scented, but back to the issue. The newer glass bottle while one advantage is you can see how much shave balm is left is much more fragile. I have had the old glass bottle drop either from waist hi or off a vanity and hit the floor without breaking. I recently had one and I will use the number off a carton I just purchased( 20326757) as a reference.. The reason for this recent purchase is the bottle fell off the vanity between the vanity and bathroom wall falling about 30 ilnches down an opening about 3 inches wide by 30 inches high. It not only cracked the bottle but shattered it leaving big shards of glass mixed in with the balm that was left ( about 3/4 of a bottle). That was a mess to clean up because of the area it broke in. Anyway accidents happen but I don't think it would have broken had it been your previous glass style.
