The bottle says this shower gel has a citrus scent, and I found the scent to be light and fresh, with hints of what I think would be lemongrass. So I work in a dirty environment. I shower everyday after work and all I really need is something to shift the grease. I usually use a bar of soap because it's cheap and cheerful and does the job. I don't care about smelling overly nice. This shower gel does all those things which is great. Words like 'invigorating' and 'power' are just tricks to make people think this is the best shower gel there is.. let's face it who really cares? What it comes down to for most people is the price. If this was a quid then maybe I'd buy it, any more and I'd look elsewhere. Smells nice though and it's 97% biodegradable so I suppose that's a bonus.

My husband and I both like to use the gym frequently and upon receiving this I knew instantly that if it works we would regularly purchase it given our working out habits. Just when you open the bottle the smell is SO nice my husband was tempted to shower right away even tho he had just taken one. My husband has used this atleast four times now and loves the smell. The product also thoroughly gets rid of of sweat and we have noticed that the effects help you smell and feel fresh the remainder of the day. We will be purchasing this. Keep it up Nivea!

He has sensitive psorasis prone skin and it hasn't irritated his skin the way many mainstream body soap products can so that is great to know Nivea products are a safe option for him. I tried the product myself to also be able to review and I found it perfectly acceptable - it works, it smells nice and doesnt leave skin either filmy or feeling stripped dry. I tried Nivea men's fresh power shower gel and replaced my usual shower gel and shampoo/conditioner with it daily for week or so.Positives about this product I found: it gave me a great freshening and clean feeling that did last on my body.It seemed to lather well also.Negatives: I didn't find it was so good compared to my other shampoo/conditioner for the condition of the hair (silkyness) so for me it would be a body wash only and would probably stick to a suitable shampoo to get more the benefits.Overall I would probably buy this in the future as I liked the fresh feeling it gave me in the morning to wake up to.I Enjoyed testing it andwould rate it 7and half out of 10.Many Thanks.
I originally got this #freeproduct through #trywithtopbox so that my husband could try it. However, I liked the smell so much I ended up using it too! I found it a bit drying for my skin and needed to apply moisturizer after. My husband agreed that it also made his skin feel somewhat dry but not enough to warrant using another product. It's pretty comparable to other body washes out there. Mixed feelings about this being an all-in-one product for face, body, and hair. Like, men can't handle using multiple products? Or women don't deserve that covenience? Either way, this product was not great as a face cleanser or a shampoo. It is a nice-smelling body wash though.
I used this shower gel first thing in the morning, and was immediately impressed by the great smell. It is sort of a citrus combined with shaving cream smell. I love it. It lathers really well and feels good to apply to the body. I found that the product rinsed off well with no residue or film left behind like some other products I’ve tried.
