The packaging is the standard NIVEA face wash style; which is versatile and great practice use for application. The product is one I would encourage first time teenagers to use as if is not harsh on the skin, cleansing with mild scrub. I would not however consider it a once a week face scrub product. Apart from the mild scrub, the smell is delicious. Not to over powering and pleasant to inhale. Only thing I was not a fan, was it’s lack of lather. When I look for a face wash, I look for something that can create with minimal product a decent lather. It felt somewhat like I was applying a gel to my face rather than it feeling like it was being “scrubbed” into. The scrub is very gentle and it does a great job at removing non-waterproof make up. However, if you're looking for an exfoliating scrub, this might be too gentle for removing the dead skin. I like how this doesn't strip my skin of natural oils or make it extremely squeaky clean. It did remove the excess dirt on the skin and the oiliness. My face also seems to be less oily after the wash. The smell isn't overpowering and is pleasant fresh scent. The cleanser is hydrating and my skin wasn't over dry from using it, always felt softer afterwards. Love the simple and no fuss packaging by Nivea for this Purifying Wash Scrub. Lovely packaging color. Love that this product it's Made in Germany which means it's a quality product with a affordable price point. This product it's suitable for oily & combination skin which is just what I need. I love how after using this wash Scrub my skin stay hydrated and cooling and leave my skin feels very refreshing. My oily T-zone stay hydrated without any shine throughout the whole day. I like my cleansers to keep my face clean and remove any oily residue from my face whilst also being gentle at the same. This product has a nice scent and is quite gentle in the sense that the scrub part is very mild. It has a slightly gritty texture but it's nothing abrasive and in fact is incredibly gentle and soft. For those who like a scrub that's a bit stronger I would say this isn't for you but for those who want something gentle this would be a good option. I normally use this every 2 to 3 days and other days I would use just normal gentle cleanser like the acne wash. And also I love to scrub face right after taking a hot bath since it gets much easier to exfoliate. I then go on and put on a face mask. Scrubbing allowed my skin to help clear out the unwanted layer of my skin so that my skin could absorb my skincare products such as a face mask or even just a face cream. This scrub is so far the best scrub I’ve used compared to different brands such as Neutrogena, Clinique, kiehl’s and so on. One of the biggest reason why I love this product more than others is because of how affordable they are. You can get this product in supermarkets, drug stores or online. This product is also dermatologically approved which gave me more trust in this product. Anyways this product is great for acne prone skin like mine and if you cant afford all those expensive products I would really recommend this to you. P.S. Just a reminder that this is just my own experience so this product might not be right for you. This is a review of my favourite products and give you advice on how best to use them.
