Nivea Rich Nourishing Body Lotion 250mL

Coming out of winter my skin was feeling extremely dry, flaky and not very loved by my usual moisturising body wash. I was expecting good things from this moisturising lotion as Nivea is renowned for deeply moisturising body lotions. The Rich Nourishing Lotion did not disappoint. It is a creamy, luxurious and long-lasting body cream in a handy dispenser pump bottle. Non-greasy feeling when applied and absorbs rapidly. Can put on while still damp just out of the shower or bath and it seems to work even better on those really prone to be dry areas (lower legs and elbows looking at you!). Does not rub off or mark sheets or towels as some oil-rich lotions can do. Did not need to apply every day and using after exfoliation was just like a spa treatment. Very effective in reducing those areas that get chafed and sweaty by the end of the day under clothes which was an unexpected bonus. Highly recommend trying this out if you have been looking for a highly nourishing body cream that does not feel like you just dipped yourself in oil. Great moisturiser

Nivea

Love this moisturising body lotion from Nivea.. Great large size of bottle for everyday use. I actually bought this in a smaller bottle size for my holiday to Mexico this year. I was so impressed at how hydrated and moisturised it kept my skin. No need for aftersun this intensive cream locks in moisture after a day in intense heat. My skin felt soft and supple without being greasy. One of the main things I found especially in the heat is that it does not clog pores like some creams do in the tropics your skin just feels hydrated. I totally recommend for everyday use and for holidays in the sun.

Nourishing, light & moisturising

I've been a fan of Nivea for many years now. I think it's suitable for many types of skin as it's calming, nourishing & gets absorbed easily & quickly, just what you want after having a shower/ bath. It still feels mire luxurious than some higher priced brands I've tried & this MASSIVE size means it's going to last a while. I like a cream that works for tou, you don't have to spend minutes rubbing it in, waiting for it to not be sticky & this does exactly that. I have patches of dry skin on my body & this cream looks after those places too. I'm a fan of the signature Nivea scent, so I'm sold on all angles, I'd definitely use it again.

Rich creamy product, smells great!

This is a really lovely moisturiser that is rich and applies to the skin week, leaving it feeling smooth and hydrated.I personally prefer a moisturiser that is thick/creamy so although it is perfect for me, I’m not sure it’s particularly suited for those who prefer a light weight lotion.I found it really lovely to apply and left my skin feeling hydrated, yet not greasy. The bottle is perfect as it comes in a pump form making it easy to get just the right amount. The bottle size is very big so will last me a long time. Definitely recommend this lovely smelling moisturiser!!

Silky smooth

This NIVEA body lotion was everything it claimed to be. It was a deep moisturiser that you could feel and see working on your skin. I have been using the product every day after showering and the results are great. The cream is immediately absorbed into the skin and doesn’t leave a greasy residue. It has a pleasant, soft fragrance ideal for daily use. I have very dry skin and found my skin was well hydrated after each application. The only downside I experienced was how the lotion was applied. It did not spread easily but rather grabbed your skin as you applied it rather than gliding smoothly. Despite this small flaw I will continue to use the lotion daily as part on my beauty routine.I was gifted a sample to try and review.

Velvety Bliss

My family has always been a fan of Nivea. We have so many bottles of it at home and in fact is it the most empties we have for body lotion over the years. The reason is simple; they are economical, easily available and they work! This particular rich nourishing body lotion hydrates the skin well, provides smooth skin feel and long-lasting moisture. It has pretty thick consistency which initially may feel a little greasy but later on absorbs well into the skin without a greasy residue. There is slight fragrance in it so may be a point to note for those who doesn’t like fragrance. Another aspect to highlight is that it may not be suitable for those who have eczema. I have a family member at home with eczema and we needed something with greater smoothing effect.

surprised and delighted

There was me thinking of Nivea as a fairly basic product. Nope, this is hands down one of the best body creams I have ever used. Within 3 days my skin was baby soft and smooth, even my gnarly gardeners hands that haven't been described as 'soft' in years! The consistency of the cream is thick and velvety with a slightly oily feel. It sinks beautifully into your skin though and it took 5 applications before my skin stopped absorbing it! I have used it all over my body and I'm chuffed to bits, it's even plumped my wrinkles. Utter magic, I shan't ever be using anything else!! Highly Highly recommended!
