Nivea Sun UV Face SPF50 Shine Control 50ml

I adore this cream. It smells great, it's a great price, high spf, lovely texture but most of all it is amazing at controlling shine. I have even started using this just for the purpose of controlling shine and leaving my skin looking and feeling great. I love it. I've never had such a good experience with a face cream. It's the only sunscreen from nivea that doesn't break me out.

This is one of my favourite SPFs! not only is it in a handy reasonable tube that can be carried around with me but it's a squeeze type dispenser so you can control how much you want or don't want to use to avoid waste. it has a nice soft scent to it and it's a great texture which makes for easy application. I love that it's mattifying because I have combination skin and I struggle to apply make up with some spfs which don't bode well with make up. This one works well under make up. and it's not sticky or tacky. Its a great SPF and I'd highly recommend it.

A great choice

I bought this to use as a face sunscreen under makeup, and it is quite nice. I don’t get any issues with putting makeup over it (gotta let it sink in first) and it gives me good protection. The size is small enough to fit into a handbag, but big enough that you get plenty of uses out of it before it’s finished. I’ve brought it in a handbag before to reapply to my face and also body, the size makes it really handy. Very happy to say the formula is gentle on my skin and hasn’t irritated my skin or caused breakouts.

Amazing face cream!

I have the dreaded dry but oily skin combination. It's gotten a lot better in recent years of actually looking after my skin, but normal sun creams irritate my skin and turn me into a shiny mess again. This stuff is AMAZING. Once set it gives you a lovely silky matt effect. One thing I would say is apply your concealer and foundation immediately after application, because once it's sunk in and the mattifying effect takes place, it's not easy to get a good finish. Then leave 5 minutes before any powder. Other than that, which isn't even a problem, I would highly recommend this, I'm in my 30's now but I really wish I had this as a teen when I struggled most. I use this daily now, even in the winter, and I wouldn't use any other.

Best facial SPF I have found yet!

NIVEA SUN UV Face Suncream SPF 50 Shine Control 50ml I have been looking for spf that doesn’t stinging my eyes and I have used it everyday for 6 weeks and never had an issue. It smells nice and doesn’t smell have the typical sun screen smell. It says mattifying effects but it doesn’t look mattifying on me it gives me a nice glow. The mattifying part i feel is how it feels when it’s on your face. There is no greasy feeling or slip it feels dry. I haven’t tried it under foundation yet as I don’t wear makeup a lot. I love it

Holy grail spf!!

This is my holy grail spf. I like others have tried so many other ones, high end expensive ones but they don’t beat this one. It dies what it says it mattifies your skin absorbs so quickly and no white cast. I also love the scent usually spf has bad smell but this one I like. I have used other spf but as my face is so oily so they would end up making my face more greasy and especially my nose would shine so much. Also they would sting my eyes. I used Bondi sands spf 50 as well as it was so hyped and it’s cheaper and contains more product, however it makes you SOOOO GREASY! I just want to finish the bottle but I will not repurchase and it stings your eyes. It’s so runny and smells bad. But this Nivea is the best!

I've never had such a good experience with a face cream. Never change or stop this product please Nivea...thank you.

My holy grail spf

I have tried many brands and types of sun creams for my face and this is by far the best one, and so affordable too - BONUS! I have an oily t-zone and otherwise normal skin. I don't usually use a moisturiser in summer, but have tried it with my No7 one and it worked well together. Just make sure the moisturiser has been absorbed first ( like you would anyway before using make up or anything else...). I use a serum and then apply this sun cream. I love the smell, it makes me smile as it reminds me of holidays. The fragrance is not too strong and it doesn't linger. Perfect Daily non-shiny sunscreen

I loved it! I was looking for a non-shinny finish sunscreen and been trying many different brands and I ended up loving this the most! very hydrating, calming and with a true non-shinny finish. It's a bit sticky at first, but after a few minutes it absorbs. I plays perfect with other products of my morning skin routine and it doesn't peel!!.. I'm in love with it. I just wish you make a fragrance free version!! It's perfect for a daily use and the perfume that currently has it's a bit too strong, I smell like beach when using it and some people could find this irritating. Otherwise, like I just said.. amazing product and amazing price!

The best it gets for oily skin - WOC friendly

I am a Black woman with extremely oily, acne prone skin and have tried so many sunscreens on the market but this is my winner. Nothing will ever be 100% because a sunscreen will not stop your skin from producing sebum but it’s very good. I purchased this sunscreen alongside the Ambre Solair Anti-dark spots spf which I heard was good for oily skin but this one is the winner and left me with less shine yet more moisture. after I apply I dab my face with translucent powder and I’m good for the day. it does NOT leave ANY white cast which is amazing for an spf50 and also doesn’t pill under makeup. It’s a godsend. Better than the expensive Black Girl Sunscreen in my opinion which is only spf30 and oily.
