Nizoral Anti-Dandruff Shampoo

all i can say is WOW! I've SUFFERED with severe dandruff, scaling, and itchy scalp to the point of it bleeding for probably 3 years now! i would wake up in the middle of the night and have to wash my hair because it itches so bad! i have tried everything from dove dandruff to selsum blue to disgusting coal tar tgel. with absolutely no relief! i did find that Denorex helped with the itching from the cooling sensation but my flakes were still there! the first time i used this stuff, the itching stopped! the second time i used this, i only noticed a small dry spot on the front of my scalp, and after the third time i see NOTHING!! not one flake! finally some relief! you dont have to suffer, buy Nizoral!! you cant put a price on how i feel right now! This is going to sound very disgusting but at one point many years ago I had dandruff really really bad. At least I thought it was the address. I kept using every single day and your shampoo I could find and it did very little. I don’t see my dermatologist very often and to get in there is a bit of a wait so I don’t bother anymore. Instead of getting my prescription shampoo I now go to the drugstore and get this shampoo and it really makes quite a difference! scalp.

I started getting dandruff in the recent year. I’ve never had dandruff before and my hair stylist advised me to stop using dry shampoo. I stopped using dry shampoo for the last 6-7 months or so and I’m still getting dandruff. I have an extremely oily scalp. My hair will by oily within 24 hours of watching it in case that makes a difference. Anyway, I bought this shampoo and it didn’t do anything for my dandruff. If anything, it made the flakes bigger. I went through one entire bottle and gave up. In addition to this not working for me, it made my hair extremely dry and doesn’t smell great. It’s not a bad smell but it’s definitely bland.

I have a flaky scalp because of dandruff and this shampoo has helped so much! I wash with my regular shampoo (once or twice) then I lather Nizoral on my scalp and let it sit for a few minutes then I wash it out thoroughly. This shampoo has stripping ingredients so it is very drying. I follow up with a very moisturizing conditioner that I also let sit for a few minutes and I also use a leave-in conditioner and hair oil outside of the shower! Dandruff can feel embarrassing and frustrating and it can be overwhelming to try and overcome it but Nizoral really did help me a lot. Give it try and if it does not work, your scalp issues could be something more and maybe you should explore visiting a dermatologist.

This shampoo was recommended by my dermatologist for severe psoriasis on my scalp. I was pleasantly surprised and have used it off and on for over 15 years. It has ketoconazole, which makes it different from other over-the-counter dandruff shampoos. It also smells really good for a medicated shampoo. I use it when I have a flareup. And I use it for about a week to control the symptoms, then use it every other shampoo. I have naturally curly hair that is really hard to control and manage and the is sensitive enough that it doesn’t damage my hair and my hair actually looks great when I use it. It is definitely worth the price if you suffer from eczema, psoriasis, or embarrassing dandruff.

This product is my saving grace in the dry winter months! I tried so many other products before this and nothing worked as remotely well as Nizoral. It leaves my hair feeling extra clean and helps remove any product buildup. It takes a couple of weeks of use for me to notice most of the flakes gone. But then I only use it about once a week for maintenance and the dandruff stays away! I only noticed my dandruff coming back because I ran out of my first bottle and hadn’t used it since it started getting cold again. If you struggle with yearly dandruff cycles then I 100% recommend this product!

It works!

I’ve only struggled with occasional dandruff throughout my life. However, a few years ago I noticed this thick, scab like patch. Each time I peeled the scab away, it would come back. Nothing I would do made it go away and I wasn’t certain what it was. Over the years they started multiplying in different areas and got worse recently. I heard good things about this shampoo so decided to give it a shot. I have now used it twice and it’s definitely improved my condition. The scab like spots are decreasing in size. The shampoo has also helped with any associated itchiness. Would definitely recommend for dandruff or stubborn problem areas!

I've never left a review for anything despite buying all of my household supplies from Walmart, but this has literally changed my life. TLDR: this cures dandruff.I had been suffering from dry scalp for over a year, it prgressed beyond small flakes to patches of large scab-like areas even though i always used head and shoulders. Flakes were dime to quarter sized in the worste areas. The scab-like areas would occasionally break open, no blood or anything, but this would just increase the size of the patches. I was too embarrassed to leave the house since the spots would be visible shortly after a shower. After doing some research into what wizardry was at play here, it turns out dandruff isnt just due to a dry scalp that can be treated with a moisturizing product. There's naturally occuring fungus, bacteria, enzymes that get out of control due to genetics, this treats that, which in turn fixes the dandruff.

However I got a few suggestions and they have seemed to help. First off when I wash my hair, shampoo it and leave it on for like 30 minutes. So I usually shampoo my hair in the sink 30 minutes before I just into the shower. So I won’t be tempted to rinse it. And secondly wash your hair at least twice a week. As a natural girly I wash and style my hair once a week but unfortunately to see results you have to at least wash it twice a week. And trust me it would suck because my curls would still look nice and it felt like a waste of expensive hair products. But let me tell you I have seen real results after doing this. It’s been about a month and my scalp feels so clean and looks clean. This week I didn’t have time to wash my hair so I pushed it to 5 days and my scalp was so clean, not a dandruff in sight. Also since I’m working on my scalp I’ve been using lighter hair products (and cheaper products) so when I wash it out I don’t feel so bad about it. My curls aren’t as defined as I would like them to be but I’m trying to focus at one thing at a time lol. Also for girls with curly/thick hair make sure to deep condition your hair after, it can be really drying for our hair so make sure you do a good deep condition nothing too fancy. Overall I totally recommend it.
