With the Philips Airfryer XL Connected HD9280/70, you keep an eye on the preparation process from your phone. You can connect the airfryer with the app. You can then send the recipe to the airfryer which starts working for you. This way, you only have to put the ingredients in the airfryer and do the rest from the couch. The airfryer is even suitable for voice control via Amazon Alexa. You fry your ingredients nice and crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, thanks to the Rapid Air technology. That's because the star-shaped bottom creates swirling hot air and a crispy result. You can keep your meal at the desired temperature for 30 minutes with the useful keep-warm function. After use, simply clean the separate parts in the dishwasher.

Best Airfryer Ever!

It has a touchscreen display for using which has some pre-set functions such as fresh fries, frozen things, baking, ect and easy to adjust temperature and time however there is a NutriU App which I mainly used to control it due to the easiness of it. The app also has a wide variety of recipes to try and a break down step by step along the way so it makes it ideal. Even my kids know if they are having some chips to put them in the basket, close the door and hit the correct pre-set button and it will cook away for them! We love our Airfryer and can't wait to make more and more thing in it. But making Roast Potatoes has never been so easy!!!

At 10 minutes added to the oven to keep warm while I cooked chips & hash browns in Airfryer. Made a quick salad & dished everything up.I had earlier added 4 chicken legs to a bag, 1 tsp olive oil, some salt, pepper & garlic salt & mixed. I moved these to the Airfryer while we ate. Everything was very tasty. Myself, wife, 10 yo boy & 5 yo girl had plenty to eat.Chicken legs had cooked while we had been eating & they looked really good. Set them aside for later.Put 25mm of soapy water in the catch tray & ran the pre heat program for a minute. Tipped out & washed basket & catch tray with soapy sponge then rinsed & dried. Everything looked like new again.9pm & time to snack on chicken legs from earlier. Me & the boy thought they were amazing & I don’t often say this about food. Girls would eat legs later!Saturday morning & time for sausage & bacon sandwiches. No pre heat today as don’t think it’s required. Still not got any oil spray so just used a tsp of olive oil in a tray for the sausages before adding to Airfryer. Still plenty of room in the basket so rolled up some streaky bacon & added this. Took about 7 minutes at 180. Removed bacon at 5 minutes & sausages left in for a couple of minutes. Added some back bacon for the girls & cooked for 5 minutes. The streaky bacon rolls were better than oven cooked!Everything was nicely cooked.Cleaned Airfryer as previous. It felt easier than usual & felt like it had taken less time.Still plenty more goods to try but so far I am a big fan of the Phillips Airfryer & will be using daily.

I absolutely loved all aspects of this airfryer. The look is very sleek and modern and goes with most kitchen designs. All of the foods I cooked in the airfryer came out brilliantly, I must say actually better than using my conventional oven. All piping hot throughout and nice and golden and crispy on the outside. You do have to give tray a shake every few minutes if you're cooking chips for example to make sure they're all evenly cooked but this is extremely easy to do. I even reheated some sausage rolls and they came out like they were freshly cooked. The WiFi function is fantastic, so many recipes on the app to help you make the most out of your airfryer. This airfryer has been a fantastic addition to my kitchen and cooks so much quicker thus saving time and money on energy. I also really love the fact that you have to set a time and it counts down to finish, a real bonus as my teenagers quite often used to forget to turn the oven off when cooking themselves so with this airfryer I don't have that problem anymore. Really can't recommend enough, especially to families with teenagers who you can trust to cook for themselves. The only small problem I had was when setting the cooking time and temperature on the actual airfryer was the buttons aren't that touch sensitive so sometimes would have to press multiple times. Didn't have this problem in the app though, the app was so easy to use.

I love this airfryer. Honestly it's brilliant, I should have bought one years ago. I've barely put my oven once since getting it, only for a big extended family meal. Really cost effective to use. It's got a large capacity which holds full meals for the family. It's good to cook everything from cakes, chips to lasagna or roasted veg. It's so handy for quickly cooking things you fancy because there no time to preheat it - the kids are lovely potato waffles, beans and bacon at the moment...done in 8mins!!It's quiet when working and has lots of functions. The app is brilliant and I love being able to load up the machine and then turn it on later via the app - wherever I am! Buy one!!!The only small area it can improve on is that it would be really good if the accessories were included with the machine. I wanted to buy the accessories but there were out of stock & not back in yet. However, you can buy generic accessories packs elsewhere which do the job if you can't wait for it to come back in stock.

It can be quite easy to over fill the cooking basket as it is deceiving how large the basket actually is.This air fryer has the added benefit of having built in Wi-Fi and a smart device app which gives you power at your fingertip. The NutriU App includes loads of healthy recipes to follow, so you can just put the ingredients together load up the air fryer and set it to start cooking straight from your phone or smart device (or from the touch screen controls). You can also monitor how much time is left for cooking and adjust the temperature if required from the app. Air fryer is also Alexa enabled.Overall the product is great and does what it has been designed to do, it ticks all the boxes for me in terms of being able to cook for a large family, producing healthy air fried food quickly and efficiently. With the added benefits of Wi-Fi capabilities and large library of healthy recipes that are easy to prepare and cook straight from the palm of your hands.

Great air fryer

This air fryer is great! Not only does it "fry" your foods perfectly, it has a large basket to fit a bag of fries or onion rings (a 6.2L capacity). This air fryer is able to be connected to your wifi and hooked up to the Philips app so you can monitor your cooking times from the app. I do wish you could adjust temperature and cooking time while the air fryer is in use, but unfortunately you cannot. This air fryer basket is dishwasher safe, which is nice. The air fryer has 7 presets to make it easier to cook, reheat, grill roast and bake. I love the versatility of the air fryer in the sense you can grill, bake, cook, fry ir reheat foods in it. The air fryer has a touch screen display, which is nice. Overall, I would certainly recommend this airfryer.

I'm an airfryer convert!

I love my airfryer. I'm quite surprised as I'm not into gadgets but this has simplified my life, made very crisp and tasty food and saved electricity!!! In fact I talk about it so much I'm in danger of becoming an airfryer bore.I started simple - jacket potato straight from microwave to airfryer to crisp rather than into the oven. 10 minutes later it was done and beautifully crispy!I've tried stir-fry which was super crispy but very messy, steak and lamb steak which were amazing as they were done perfectly on the outside but juicy and tender inside, prepared chicken meals and fish in breadcrumbs. The best thing ever though is home made sweet potato wedges!!! Done in 15 minutes!!!I am so happy with this airfryer but I do find the touchscreen doesn't always ... MoreI love my airfryer. I'm not having much luck with the WiFi connection either. The other downside is the washing up each time. The basket and base are big for the dishwasher and in the sink retain water in the crevices so can pour everywhere when you lift it out of the water. But I still love it and wouldn't be without it! Thanks Phillips!

Quick, tasty, healthy and energy efficient cooking

This is the first airfryer I have owned and I was not disappointed. I quickly realised although it is called a fryer it can fry, bake and roast and probably more I have not discovered yet!I have cooked a range of food in the air fryer which has tasted great and used much less power than if we have cooked it in the oven or in a pan.Chips were first which had great texture and taste, cook with just a tiny bit of oil so were healthy too - so much better than oven chips and much cheaper and healthier than a trip to the chip shop!It roasts a whole chicken in less than 1 hour and it came out moist and crispy skin - perfect! No need to cover with foil and remove part way through as I would do with the oven, I just stuck it in for 60 minutes at 180c – job done! All ... MoreThis is the first airfryer I have owned and I was not disappointed. It does send reminders to the phone when things need shaking or about to finish which is handy when not in kitchen. I suppose you could use the app to turn on the fryer while out the house if you left food ready to be cooked, but not sure we would!I suffer from a gluten intolerance and the app allowed me to filter to the recipes suitable for me.Very easy to clean too. Just fill with hot soapy water after use and it all wipes clean in seconds.

This is the first airfryer I have owned and I have been very impressed. Straight out the box it was easy to set up and get going on the wi-fi. The connected app is full of content and recipe ideas and having tried a few out I found it very simple to send the recipes over the machine and get it cooking from my phone. The touchscreen buttons are also responsive and easy to use. The basket is roomy and so air circulates well and turns food crispy and delicious. Cleaning after use is a simple matter of removing the basket and giving it a quick wipe out, although there was not much mess at all. The non-stick functionality works brilliantly. I found that when it was cooking it was relatively low noise and things cooked quickly. The machine looks sleek and fits neatly ... MoreThis is the first airfryer I have owned and I have been very impressed. Straight out the box it was easy to set up and get going on the wi-fi. My only quibble is that getting the basket out can be a little clunky as you have to press the button down hard and this could be difficult for some people.

The air fryer quantity is large enough to cook meal portions for 4 dinner meals or 6 appetizer portions. All the parts can be disassembled and can be washed in the dishwasher. In addition to meal preparation, frying, baking, grilling, and roasting options are there along with reheating of food. The meal preparation can easily be monitored on the iPhone or iPad Philips Kitchen+ app. Daily, I see new recipes inspired based on my preferences which makes me more eager to try and make more recipes. Now I have installed the app on my husband’s phone, and he has shown active interest in cooking for me and the kids. So, for all the ladies that are looking for added motivation for their hubbies to help with cooking, this air fryer along with the smart app is the easiest way to get them transitioned over to help with cooking. This has been a great addition to our kitchen and as a family, we tend to use the air fryer most of the time during the week.
